Hi everyone!

The Steam Summer Sale has kicked off, and you can grab Spirittea for 40% OFF!

We're still busy working away on the next big update, which you can read about here if you haven't already, and we thought we'd give you a little teaser on one of the things you can expect to see!



We know you all love new spirits, so of course, this update won't be short on those! But there's one spirit in particular, who's known to other spirits as a Divine Builder, who will have a bit more of a role to play. When taking the mountain hiking trail, you'll notice some new ruins in the meadow, just west of the mountain top.


Using your spirit vision here will introduce you to Grun, who will task you to restore these ruins, and in return, you may find some new spirits show up at the bathhouse...

We'll have plenty more teasers about our next big update coming soon, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled!

We hope you’ve all been having a blast with Spirittea! We’ve had so much fun since launch, including all the updates we’ve brought out! To celebrate, we’re part of Cozy & Family Friendly Games Celebration, which means you can grab Spirittea for 40% OFF!

Anyway, we’ve done so much for Spirittea since launch - shall we have a quick run-through?

We brought you the Specquackular Update where we added bathhouse ducks, and a new shop vendor!



We dropped the Helping Hands update where we brought a brand new hint system to help you out when catching spirits!



We added the Hook, Line & Spirit update where we totally overhauled the fishing system and made it way better and smoother!



We Phantom Friends update, where we brought you brand new quests and new spirits to catch, spirit pets, and a new spirit merchant! This was probably our biggest content update so far! Emphasis on so far…



And these were just some of the updates we brought you! We also dropped a physical edition for Spirittea on Switch, launched a super cute Wonyan plushie, and fixed a truckload of bugs & made endless quality of life improvements!



So I bet you’re wondering, what’s next for Spirittea? Well, we’re working away on some big things here and we’ve got some super cool things coming, so let’s just say the next update is probably going to be Spirittea’s biggest yet. While we don’t want to spoil everything just yet, we’ll slowly be giving you sneak peeks at what you can expect to come, so keep an eye out!

But, we didn’t just want to leave you with nothing, so here’s a little teaser! You can expect to find a mysterious new shrine in town that's going to bring a brand new riddle system, which can lead to some big rewards!

The Phantom Friends Update is LIVE on Nintendo Switch & Xbox!

We've been working hard behind the scenes in getting this update out to you lovely console people, so we're super glad we can pass it over to you!

Not only this, but you can grab Spirittea for 40% OFF right now as part of the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity sale, with proceeds going towards a children's cancer centre!

Need a reminder on what you can expect to find in this update? Don't worry, here's a little refresher:

SPIRIT PETS! You'll now be able to summon spirits as pets, using pet shrines! Hunt down pet ritual scrolls for help on how to summon them, and you'll have your own spirit companion that might be a bit less grumpy (sorry Wonyan)



NEW SPIRITS & QUESTS! You'll find some new spirits about town which you'll need to have your spirit vision ready for... what possibly could they want?



One of the new spirits you'll find is a SPIRIT MERCHANT! You may need their help during one of the quests, or when it's time to summon a spirit, so make sure your spirituality is high enough...



Alongside these you can find loads of bug fixes, and more new content to accommodate the new features! We hope you all enjoy this super cute update, and thanks again for your patience!

We've just pushed a small update for Spirittea, which includes mainly bug fixes and quality of life changes:

• Set the upper tiles of the first floor of the school walls to be visible again
  
• Player will revert from Tanuki form when sleeping in the bed
  
• It got a bit windy, so we reduced how often wind blows
  
• It's now slightly easier to approach bugs on trees without scaring them
  
• You can now see the tree bugs fleeing up the trunk of the tree rather than just disappearing
  
• Reworked the veggies that grow outside of the convenience store and Song's shop to be more seasonally accurate
  
• Gave Amelia proper responses to questions she asks you
  
• Optimized performance related to textures
  
• Performance improvements related to objects drawn in-game
  
• More optimization with firefly spawning
  
• Adjusted the invisible wall on the ledge at the very northwest part of town (before you could nearly walk onto the water)
  
• Fixed bug where facing a monkey in the hot springs and trying to select something in your bag resulted in a crash
  
• Fixed an issue related to player movement speed
  
• FIxed Clarence's walking path around town (at 10pm on Sunday nights) so he doesn't just teleport to bed
  
• Fixed some small localization errors
  
• Fixed bug where Ribbard and Kurkapi's music wouldn't play if they were singing and the player entered a different room for a time
  
• Fixed bug where Ito said one of Sujin's quest hint lines
  
• Re-fixed bug with sinking cups where the NPC wouldn't automatically end the game after a max number of games had been played
