0.4.4.0 - Adapting Solo Challenges to Mandrillian Bot Upgrades

This upgrade tweaks some of the Solo Challenge settings to include the recent Mandrillian Bot Upgrade addition. The idea is for the difficulty to slowly ramp up until it simulates a standard match against two experienced Mandrillian Players.

"Dynamic Upgrade" is now the default for the Mandrillian Bots (you can still set it to disabled, random, or one-make for each upgrade). Dynamic Upgrade simulates Mandrillian Bots gaining points just like their human counterparts, and spending them on upgrades as the match goes on. This is also affected by the global "upgrade price" multiplier, so you can tweak it to see more or less Mandrillian Bot upgrades in a match.

  • Beginner Challenge remains unchanged: a single Mandrillian, abundant loot, keycards appearing on the Multitool, and no Mandrillian Upgrades at all.
  • Intermediate Challenge now has "standard" loot instead of "abundant", has upgrades enabled and 2x upgrade price for the (single) Mandrillian. Expect a couple upgrades during late game, with possibly an armor or two near the end.
  • Hard Challenge now has "abundant" loot instead of "standard"; upgrades are enabled with 2x upgrade price. Because there's two Mandrillians, expect to start seeing upgrades from mid to late game.
  • Expert Challenge now has "standard" loot instead of "scarce", and Mandrillians have upgrades enabled with the standard 1x upgrade price. Also, the Mandrillians no longer have poison and shock resistance, to keep with the "standard match against 2 experienced players" theme.

  • Infestation Challenge is unchanged (don't worry, no armored infested Mandrillians)


The Expert Challenge is still subject to change, all feedback is appreciated!

This update also includes a bunch of fixes and tweaks, mainly for the Coop Drones.

  • Added a dry fire sound when trying to use the Machine Gun or Rocket Pod with no magazine/ammo available

  • Fixed Mandrillian Bot "X" death marker on Multitool sometimes being out of sync with the corpse
