  • The Name Your Price ability will now trigger the Hookshot and Backstab Augments.
  • Calculate when a relic is affordable (due to supply with curse active) after receiving supply from relic chests.
  • Fixed a couple potions that could be used without being consumed.
  • Fixed resizing bug for both relics and gold text.
  • Hero Deiyu Ren now costs shards.
  • Removed skull boss icon from map legend.
  • Updated stats outcomes to handle odd values properly.
  • Fix transparent backgrounds of hero and enemy images.
  • Various bugs involving screen shake.
  • Various typos.


[h3]QUALITY OF LIFE[/h3]
  • Rebalanced most Boss Relics, generally making them stronger and more interesting.
  • Timers (including for both the curse and achievement) only count when the player can act now.
  • Default timer is off and togglable in settings.
  • Greyed out hero powers that can no longer be used.
  • Improvements to tutorial explanations.
  • Removed Alchemist's Flask (potion card that turns a friendly card's symbols to random numbers to gain a potion).
  • Changed "Campaign" button to "Start Run".

Tetra Tactics 1.0 is Live!

Tetra Tactics (formerly Card Craft) is leaving Early Access and full launching today (April 9, 2024) with a brand new soundtrack, an improved tutorial, hero power bugfixes, and QOL improvements. Our small team of developers has been working hard toward this release and we're so excited to share it with you! Be sure to join our Discord community to share your game progress, report bugs, or just chat with the devs and other players.

Here's a list of the changes for this latest build update:

  • Brand New Soundtrack with 16 new tracks!
  • Cleaned up tutorial to flow better.
  • Changed hero power and relics that refer to "lowest" or "highest" to apply to all numbers that have the lowest or highest values respectively
  • Added loading screen for any major transition.
  • Fixed hookshot on north and south values switching back and forth when attacking north
  • Fixed some bugs with potions and hero powers.
  • Added indication when a hero power potion won't work.
  • Fixed some card animations.
  • Fixed some bugs with practice mode and heroes not changing the starting cards properly.
  • Fixed some bugs around achievements being granted too early.
  • Fixed bug with XP bars around the card disappearing.
  • Fixed curses appearing in tutorial.
  • Fixed bugs with menu button sparkles.

Name Change

Hey everyone,

As you may have noticed, we have a new name, Tetra Tactics!

For legal reasons we could not use the name Card Craft.

Although we had to move quickly, we're very happy with our new name.

Tetra Tactics helps pay homage to our inspirations of Triple Triad and Tetra Master while also clearly speaking to the gameplay experience.

We hope you're as excited as we are for the upcoming 1.0 release tomorrow!

Boss Avatars, New Bosses, Bug Fixes + GDC Events

This latest update shows boss avatars on the map, plus there are 2 new bosses for the Ice Biome! Full list of updates below:

  • Show Boss avatars on map nodes
  • Two new bosses in the second map
  • Fixed some card scaling animations
  • Fixed some character portraits
  • Fixed final boss node graphic
  • Fixed bug with augmented card particle effects
  • Prevented multiple clicks of "Return to Main Menu" on end stats popup
  • Improved look of stats bar graph
  • Fixed practice mode showing bugged Hero


Additionally, GDC is this week in San Francisco and Card Craft will be demoing at 3 events:

We've got a new logo and cover art! Check it out in the game and on the steam page.

  • Replaced logo with new art by Michael Dashow and added him to the credits.
  • Added setting to turn screen shake off.
  • Fixed bug where acquiring gold message stays on screen after dismissed.
