CLOSED BETA UPDATE 0.4.0 - HORSE ABILITIES, ARCHERY & MORE! 🏹🐴
[h3]WHAT'S NEW?[/h3]
• Archery is back!: It was a big wish of the community to have archery back.
Even though there are no bound actions for it yet in update 0.4.0, you can purchase the bow from Florian Himmel and get familiar with it.
Archery works both on foot and while riding. 🎯
• Obstacle Course Builder: Create your own jumping courses and share them in multiplayer!
• Horse Ability System: Build a bond with your horse, level up, and unlock unique destinies: Jumping, Agility, Stamina, and more! You decide which path your horse will take: will it become a racehorse or perhaps a jumping master? With perks, you can compensate for your horse's weaknesses or further enhance the stats it already excels in!
This is just the beginning of the system, but we are continuously working on refining it to its fullest potential.
• Jobs: Take on various tasks from the Job Board at the Horse Market to earn extra money.
• The Axe & The Pickaxe: You now have the ability to chop down trees and break rocks in the campground to gather resources like wood or iron. These activities are especially important for the new jobs you can take on at the job board.
• Resource Gathering: Chop down trees and mine ores! Check out the Horse Market shop for the necessary tools.
• New Horse Interactions:
- Scratch your horse's rump, they’ll love it! ❤️
- Boop the nose! 🐴
• Date & Time: Introducing a Date & Time system that allows various events to occur over time. For example, your horses will get hungry over time, you will have daily bonding tasks (such as brushing and hoof cleaning), and job offers will appear on the job board. This system will be crucial for both farming and breeding in the future.

• Improved Animations: Smoother riding, mounting, dismounting, and improved horse gallop.
• More Lively Maps: Birds and insects now bring more life to the world.
• Player Creator Update: All hairstyles now have proper thumbnails.
• Expanded Graphics Settings: Some players experienced issues with low frame rates. In addition to general optimizations, we have added the following options to the graphics settings:
- Anti-Aliasing Quality
- Post Processing
- Global Illumination
- Reflections
- Textures
- Effects
- Shading
• Visual Item Changes:
- Casual Riding Helmet has a new look.
- Grooming Set has been improved and renamed.
[h3]FIXES:[/h3]
• Fixed a graphics issue causing everything to appear red for players with Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics.
• Reins now display the correct color.
• Turnout yard gates were mistakenly labeled as barn doors -> now corrected.
• Key bindings now save properly.
• Fixed an issue where horses would freeze when led into a stall.
• Horses can no longer walk on campground chairs.
• Players will no longer get stuck when riding and changing horse equipment.
