Closed Beta Ver. 0.2.0 Update NOW LIVE

[h3]In this latest update, your character's appearance got reset, but fear not – your progress remains intact![/h3]

Horses:
• Animation changes: Walk & Canter
• Added cleanliness for the body & each leg
• Added Brush functionality
• Added Hoof Picking functionality



Added stall behavior (A.I.), horses inside their stall will orient themselves automatically as soon as the stall gate is closed.

All stall behaviors:
• Idle
• Hatch
• Eating hay from the hay net
• Drink
• Eating from the feed trough



Riding system:
• Riding System 1.5: Set speed manually for each gait to change into Extended or Collected
• Added stride system indicator
• Display active gait



Players:
• Added alternative hair mesh if the player wears a hat/helmet
It was a big wish of the community that the hair didn't disappear when wearing a headgear, so we added meshes to each hairstyle as an alternative.



Player Creator:
• Added "Reset back to default" button
• Added face presets
We've received some suggestions to make the Player Creator a little more enjoyable, we've now added face presets. We have provided 4 presets to choose from, more will follow in the future.
• Added 14 new morph options to design your character with a higher level of detail!
• Improved all hairstyles and beards
• Added new hairstyles

Functions:
• Added depth of field
• Added snow traces
• Added pick-up function
• Added Pick Up Item: Alfalfa Flower
• Random spawning pick up items on specific surfaces (e.g. Alfalfa Flower spawns on grass)



NPC Overhaul:
We have given our NPC more depth, you can talk to NPCs (In Update 0.2.0 only with Jeremiah Weathersby) they will then react with animations and the text will be generated in a text field.

NPC Trading:
In our roadmap we announced that we would add a NPC shop for Update 0.2.0. There is a test NPC on your property where you can buy or sell items.

HUD:
• Added Quick Bar
Important for upcoming updates where you can drag & drop items into the world or onto objects.



Quests:
• Changed up Quest texts

Maps:
• Added home stable map combined with house
• Added HDRI Background for each map

Environment:
• Adjusted Grass Textures
• Adjusted Colors
• Adjusted Weather Brightness



Settings:
• Simplified Graphics Settings

Performance Overhaul:
Through the great screenshots and videos you shared, we saw that many of you had to turn down the graphics settings significantly. We have therefore revised or adjusted almost every mesh, material and texture and significantly reduced the number of draw calls and hope that many of you achieve higher FPS numbers!

  • Initial horse care (brushing, hoof picking & feeding)

Closed Beta Hotfix 0.1.1

Fixes and changes:

UI
• Added a menu with riding controls when pressing ESC
• Horse name now applies in the indicator
• Quest interface track/untrack button has been fixed
• Added current version of the game in the start menu
• Changed "Hiding HUD" to F9 Key (Not rebindable)

Player Creator
• Sliders are now thicker
• Rotating character will not work if you click on any UI
• Character rotation is no longer inverted

Inventory
• Ranchwear Western Hat got adjusted

Horse Creator
• Added Patreon Special Coat "Dulce"

Camera
• Auto camera correction during movement has been removed
• Sensitivity slider for Controllers has been added to the settings menu
• Option added to snap the riding camera behind the horse while riding
• Offset adjusted for better aiming on items
• Distance (zoom) is now faster

Horses
• Security function added to prevent the horse from getting stuck in the ground after a jump
• Dismount functionality has been improved: If dismounting on the right side doesn't work due to a mesh, it will attempt to dismount on the left side. If both sides are blocked, you can't dismount in the current position
• Fixed too dark looking markings

Interaction
• Interacting with drawers should no longer freeze your inputs
• Enlarged collision of fences for the quest "Prepare the horse sale"
• Adjusted quest indicator

Graphics
• Eyebrows will no longer disappear on settings lower than "Epic"

Loading Screen
• Removed border
• Added one more loading screen image

General SFX Settings
• SFX & BGM will apply correctly when restarting the game

Maps
• Forest Valley got a few changes
• Added weather effects for the landscape
