Patch 0.1.7 is live! Even more bug fixes!


Dear Survivors,

Patch 0.1.7 is now live!
Some unexpected bugs appeared from patch 0.1.6, which we promptly reverted. Now we were able to fix those issues and some more.
As always, feedback is very welcome!

0.1.7 Patch notes:
Fixed an issue where some items became huge after a number of days had passed
Made the vines hanging from a fallen log shorter
Added an alternative way to cross the ravine to the jungle
Fixed a fern which was glowing in the dark
Fixed some more collision issues
Fixed an issue of chests not appearing in 0.1.6
Knife can be used to open up a cooked crab again
Fixed some geometry issues
Fixed some texture issues
Fixed some foliage issues
Made unlocks appearing in chests more stable

0.1.6 Patch notes:
Fixed unlocks sometimes relocking (might still have some issues)
Fixed an issue where eating a specific fruit would block further eating
Fixed fall damage sometimes not happening
Possible fix to spawning in the sky when loading the game
Lichen graphics improved
Adjusted meat scale
Added some rubble to a cave
Fixed a collision issue with fruit
Further optimization of foliage
Fixed an issue where coconut halves sizzle infinitely in fire
Fish texture issues improved
Improved vignette visuals
Fixed some plants sticking through rocks (work in progress)
Various clam fixes
Clam meat can now be harvested with a knife
Clam meat is now less willing to leave the clam
Clam sound effects adjustments
More ambient sound effects
Improved textures of some rocks
Fixed some geometry
Fixed some collisions
Removed a dysfunctional tree

[h3]UPDATE on March, 29th: Patch 0.1.6 is reverted! [/h3]
We rolled back to version 0.1.5 as some unexpected new bugs appeared, which we did not encounter in our internal testing. We will look into them next week and roll a new patch once we have the situation under control. Thank you for your feedback and patience!

Patch 0.1.6 is now live.
We fixed several game-breaking or just annoying bugs. Read the patch notes below for a full list. Feedback is very welcome!

Patch 0.1.5 is live! Peaceful Mode added!


Dear Survivors,

Peaceful Mode has been added to the game.
It has been the most requested feature since launch and we are happy to give players an option to just relax and enjoy the scenery and wildlife on Bootstrap Island.

You can switch between Peaceful Mode and Roguelike mode under Menu -> Settings -> Gameplay.
While in Peaceful Mode, nothing will attack you or hurt you but you cannot progress the story or unlock new items. All the items you have already unlocked are also present in Peaceful Mode.

* Peaceful Mode added! You can access it under Gameplay Settings in Menu.

* some geometry collision fixes
* fixed bird texture change upon death
* fixed some issues with the clam, it is now easier to open
* fixed a clam trying to escape from fire
* clam meat can now be eaten straight from the shell
* fixed a knife sound effect
* crabs no longer hurt hands
* things no longer get stuck on bulletbox attached to the player
* players can no longer grab bulletbox attached to the player (use trigger to grab bullets)
* added a logo on splash screens
* fixed wooden footsteps playing on sand
* fixed some issues with chests
* fixed an unlocked holster not persisting through save/load
* fixed some texture issues
* fixed a hole in the mountain where players could get stuck
* further improved animal pathfinding

* fix for animals spawning too early
* a possible fix for players hanging in the air when loading the game

* gunpowder flask no longer plays sound when attached to the player
* visual improvements to a plant
* fixed fish visuals not representing if it's cooked after save/load
