We’re starting off by opening the Next Fest Season, which features 9 unique cosmetics to unlock and keep forever. It’ll run until we decide to sunset the demo. You’ll get plenty of XP by just running races and making the podium, but you can also do the daily and weekly challenges to get ahead! With this new season, we have ended the Tech Test Season and all its cosmetics have been vaulted - hope you had time to unlock them!

New Featured Levels: Stroll, Penthouse, Ship It! and Tag & Ship It!

We’ve added an all new Circuit level and a new Loot level set in the Rooftops of Singapore called Stroll & Penthouse - and an exciting Loot level set in the Industrial District; “Ship It!” and a Bomb Tag variant of the same “Tag & Ship It!”. We hope you enjoy these - they feature some brand new obstacles to conquer; the dreaded Megaspinners and Fragile Floors!

Like Levels you Love

You can now go to any level card and Like it. Give an upvote to your favorite levels and we’ll make sure to keep them in the Featured playlist rotations!

Private Lobby Key Codes

You can now assign a lobby key code that can lock your lobby for just the ones who have the key code, to host a private session between friends or your stream. Neat!

Loading Screen Tips

Did you know a lot of people play Supermoves without using the supermoves? We added a handy rotating loading screen tip that reminds you of stuff you can do in the game. Thank us later, when you are first on the leaderboards by reading them!

Remix any Level in the Makea Editor

You can now take anyone’s level as a base for your own shenanigans. Remixed levels retain attribution for the original author. If there’s a level you really like, you can now change its gamemode, time of day, weather or whatever you wish!

All New Props for the Makea Editor

Tree platforms. Those ubiquitous weird white plastic chairs you see everywhere. Open shipping containers. A windmill? We’ve gone full bonkers with the latest batch of props to the Makea Editor to make sure you can really let your creativity shine.

Credits now Available

Find out all about Makea Games and who helped bring Supermoves to life! Credits are at the moment in the Settings menu.

A lot of bug fixes and improvements

We’ve squashed a lot of clothes clipping with each other, weird prop inconsistencies and made some thumbnails much better. Enjoy a better Supermoves!

Known Issues

 • If a disconnected player’s score is visible on the scoreboard at the end of the match the game may crash.

 • The menu cannot be navigated to the Lobby Key selection in the Pause Menu using a controller.

 • The Industrial Level Kit may show the wrong skybox at times.

 • Some Season functionality isn’t accessible with a controller.

We are really happy with the state of the game at the moment, but we hope you’ll still share your feedback with us on our Discord channel. We’ll patch and hotfix as we go. Remember to wishlist the game - Supermoves comes out August 28th 2024 for Steam!

Highlights
Singleplayer Career Mode Demo
You can now try out our singleplayer Career Mode! We’ve featured the tutorial, the Florida Goal level “On the Ropes” and 6 exciting races:

 • The Stacks, a Sprint level set inside Plywood Park
 • Highrise Paradise, a Circuit level set on the Rooftops
 • Backwoods, a Circuit level set in the Flatlands
 • Big Wave, a Circuit level set on the Ocean
 • School’s Out, a Rising Tide level set inside the School Gym
 • Triumph, a Loot level set inside the Supermoves Stadium

The final game will have a lot more to try out, but this is just a taste of what the singleplayer Career Mode will have to offer. Rumor has it that there’s some secrets strewn about as well for the more curious parkour pro!
Random Featured Playlists
After rigorous testing in the Supermoves Playtest, we decided to go with fully random featured playlists. There’s a fun little algorithm that decides what gamemodes get played, but we prioritize racing gamemodes like Sprint, Circuit and Rising Tide with a surprise or two Bomb Tag, Obstacle Course and Loot in it. All in all, this should give you a fresh experience every time you boot up Supermoves and as we add more featured levels.

We’ve also re-added the Royale playlist. We’ll look into how popular the gamemodes are using our analytics and bring back specific playlists if we see demand for them!
Party Up with Friends
We’ve added the Party system, which allows you to join up with your friends directly from your Steam friends list. Just join your friend and you’ll be whisked away wherever the host wants you to go.
Additional Host Features
The host of a lobby can now kick players and disable editor access for individual players by going to the Pause Menu and choosing players from the scoreboard. You can also kick out party members.
New Play, Make and Pause Menus
We’ve overhauled the Play Menu, Make Menu and added a handy new Pause Menu, which will show leaderboard scores when you’re playing! Additionally, the main menu track now correctly plays in the menu (it used to play only in the first screen).
Vastly Improved Controller Support
Supermoves should now be able to be played from start to finish with just your controller. You can toggle controller icon types and we’ve added a handy virtual keyboard for text input (only in Steam Big Picture mode or the Steam Deck). Neat!
Improved Featured Levels
Many levels now have additional checkpoints to make sure you don’t miss them, some visual overhauls and we’ve made a few sections in a few maps (the last section in The Stacks, anyone?) a bit easier to handle. We’ve patched up some popular skips on the maps to ensure a level playing field, but I’m sure you’ll find more ways to get ahead.
Movement improvements and Leaderboard Reset
We’ve reset the leaderboards from this build on, since we’ve overhauled the movement a bit. New features include better conservation of momentum when running on flat ground and several improvements to rolling and sliding. We’ve also squashed a lot of bugs.
Quality of Life updates and Bug Fixes
There’s a lot of these so we’re not going to list them all, but a lot of the UI weirdness is now gone and replaced with a smooth flow to everything. Expect more fixes and improvements as we move towards our inevitable launch!
Coming Soon: The Next Fest update on June 10th
We’re going to add a patch to the Steam Next Fest demo on June 10th to add a host of new exciting features.
Coming Soon: All New Trailer!
Technically not in the game, but we’re hyped up about it and you should be too!
Coming Soon: The Next Fest Season
Get 10 all new cosmetics from just playing the game and completing daily & weekly challenges! We’ll sunset the tech test season once we go live with this, so be sure to get all the cosmetics before they vanish! The Next Fest Season will be a limited time event where you can get unique cosmetics for your character.
Coming Soon: Edit and Remix Levels from the Level Card
You’ll be able to remix any level and save it as your own copy.
Coming Soon: Open Lobby for Single Levels
Want to play just a single race but have the lobby available for people to join? Now you can open up a lobby to a single level.
