Lootun 0.8 Preview: Factions
Greetings Everyone. Welcome to another preview for the 0.8 content update. In this preview I will be going over the basics for the new endgame system: Factions.
Factions:
Factions represent different groups within Lootun that require your assistance in defeating their enemies. As you gain reputation with each Faction you will unlock access to new Skills, Upgrades and Material Bonuses. Each Faction specialises in the collection of a specific endgame Material.

Upon reaching the maximum reputation level with a Faction you can continue to gain reputation and will be rewarded with additional materials each time you fill the reputation bar.
Faction Dungeons:
In order to gain reputation with each Faction you must run their associated Faction Dungeon. Each Faction Dungeon has 4 different difficulty tiers which unlock as you gain more reputation with each Faction.

Faction Dungeons are long, challenging, missions that will test your teams endurance. Each Faction Dungeon will require that you defeat several mini bosses before facing the final boss of each Dungeon.
If you find yourself with excess Donation Credits you can use them to Infuse your Faction Dungeon runs to gain an additional reward chest upon defeating the final boss.
Blessings:
Blessings are a new type of Material that can drop from Faction Dungeons at Tier 3+. Blessings allow you to improve the power of your Item Attribute Bonuses. Each Item can only gain the effect of each Factions Blessing once, however, Blessings can be added in any order allowing you to choose your own path through Faction Dungeons. Divine Items cannot be Blessed.
Faction Skills:
Each Faction has a unique Skill that can be unlocked after gaining enough reputation. Faction Skills provide powerful effects on short Cooldowns and can be used in addition to your existing Offensive and Defensive Cooldowns. As you continue to gain reputation with each Faction you will unlock access to powerful passive modifiers for each Faction Skill.
Faction Upgrades:
Gaining reputation with Factions will also grant additional upgrades in the form of Skill Bonuses and Material Bonuses.
Skill Bonuses are persistent attribute bonuses that are active for each Character making use of a Factions associated Skill.

Material Bonuses provide a permanent increase to the amount of Materials you gain from all sources. Each Faction provides a bonus to a different Material type.
Wrap Up:
That’s all for this preview, thank you for reading this far. I am hoping to have news about the 0.8 beta release within the next two weeks.
As always feel free to leave any suggestions or comments here, or on the Discord.
