DIGGERGUN is 50% off!

[p]Kabloop here! Just a quick announcement that DIGGERGUN is 50% off for the Steam Spring Sale!

Since its launch in November, DIGGERGUN has received several patches with various bug fixes and balance changes, so now is a great time to dive in if you've been on the fence. [/p][p][/p][p]Or, if you've already bought the game, maybe it's time for another run to see if you can finally unlock Olivia's ending?

Either way, a huge thank you to everyone for all of your support and love for the game. It's been wonderful seeing everyone's responses! I'm glad I made a game that resonates with so many people, and I'm eternally grateful for all of the love I've received from the community. Fixes:

Rose Questline Level 6
- Fixed a bug that caused the rest of their questline to not play out if the time changed from 23:00 to the next day during the start of their level 6 cutscene.

Rufus Questline Level 6 Missions
Rufus Level 6-3
- Fixed an issue that was causing the robots to move incorrectly by getting "stuck" between the dirt blocks and the platform they're on, causing them to bounce back and forth.[/p][p][/p][p]For Steam achievements, please use the \[testing] branch. To access, right-click on DIGGERGUN, go to Properties, Game Versions and Betas and then select testing. The Steam achievements don't currently work in the main install path as the build with achievements in have been known to have issues booting. Please check it out and give feedback![/p]

Updated the main DIGGERGUN branch with the patch from 13th February, 2026.

Please note, I am still testing Steam achievements in the [testing] build. So do check out that build if Steam Achievements don't work in the default build. More information can be found here.

Updates:

- Updated the Italian translation.

- The security guard in town will now disappear after 16:00.

- The security guard will no longer appear in the mines if players use the map to get around him.

These changes are to give players more options to get around the security guard.

DIGGERGUN in 2026!

[p]Hello everyone, Kabloop here! I hope you're all well. This is just a quick update on DIGGERGUN and what to expect in the future.[/p][p][/p][p]First off, I’m incredibly thankful to everyone who has left a review! Reviews really help DIGGERGUN with discovery, as well as encouraging others to pick-up the game and experience it for themselves. [/p][p][/p][p]I genuinely mean it when I say it has been amazing to see everyone’s responses to the game and I couldn’t be happier with how DIGGERGUN’s been received.[/p][p][/p][p]When it comes to the future of DIGGERGUN there are a few things: [/p][p][/p][p]On the subject of updates, I will continue to issue patches addressing any bugs that pop up. These will be on an ad-hoc basis. As for Steam Achievements not working, I’m still looking into the issue and hope to address it soon. [/p][p][/p][p]When I released DIGGERGUN, I considered the game “complete”. And apart from a few balance changes and content tweaks following its release in November, I still consider that to be the case. There won’t be any new content added to the game, but I will address any problems if they come up. [/p][p][/p][p]I’ve been really happy with how the Steam Deck, Mac and Linux versions of DIGGERGUN have been received since the game was updated to include them in late November. I aim to promote this version a bit more, especially as there were calls from numerous members of the community asking for it.[/p][p][/p][p]When it comes to making DIGGERGUN more accessible to a wider audience, there will be some news about that later in the year. Unfortunately, I can’t go into that particular piece of information yet, but it’s incredibly exciting that more people will be able to get their hands on DIGGERGUN! Stay tuned for more information! [/p][p][/p][p]As for me, and what I’m doing now that DIGGERGUN is released… well, I've been working on something new! In truth, I’ve become very enamoured with this new game. On the one hand it’s quite different from DIGGERGUN, on the other, it shares a lot in common. The subject matter is deeply interesting to me, and I’ve been having an absolute blast researching everything. I’m still in the designing and writing phase, but I do look forward to sharing more news about the game very soon.
