EA Update 0.1.8 is live – Merchants, farming, combat and more
[h2]Update 0.1.8 is now live for Earth of Oryn.[/h2]

This update focuses on stability, clarity and deeper gameplay systems.
It includes major fixes, performance improvements and reworks of merchants, farming,
tooltips, placement and combat.
Merchants and economy
• Improved merchants logic and smarter arrival behavior
• Merchants now come from different civilizations
• Clearer merchant intentions shown in tooltips
• Fixed infinite delivery loops between storage market and manufacture
• Higher building costs for better balance
• Building navmesh is now updated only once construction is finished
Farming and plants rework
• Harvest fields are reused after crops are collected
• New plant rendering with visible growth stages
• Fixed plant rendering on slopes
• Lower yield per plant for improved balance
• Farmers can now take seeds from storage if needed
• Farms stop creating new tasks from autumn to winter
• New food market and required technology added
Interface and tooltips
• Large tooltip rework across buildings trees and rocks
• Tooltips now show current task state errors and research progress
• Dynamic stat tooltips with growth and decay modifiers
• Short delay added before most tooltips to reduce clutter
• No tooltip overlap with bottom menus
Placement camera and controls
• Improved building placement using footprint center
• Fixed placement getting stuck on specific axis
• Improved camera controls with combined inputs
• Smoother camera movement and better performances
• Placement seed key changed from Exclaim to F

• Improved combat AI
• Larger hitboxes for military units
• More impact sound variations
• Tutorial raid is now an event with clear timing and indicators
• Visual and audio alerts for critical events
