Embodying Affogato in Japanese, Haruka Takahashi's captivating voice brings the character’s essence to life flawlessly. Known for her striking performance in Under the Dog as Sayuri Hyuuga, she also had roles in other video games such as Azur Lane and Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

We hope you have been having fun in Affogato! Are you ready for a magical whirlwind of updates? Based on the feedback and suggestions we've received from all of you, we’re happy to share that we have new content coupled with some feature optimizations and bug fixes!

Our cauldron of updates introduces new phone dialogues for our beloved characters, fresh difficulty options, and a level challenge mode awaiting you after you complete it game, and you can experience it all in the opentest beta branch now!

After further review and testing, we will then roll out these new updates for everyone to enjoy!
Below are the feature optimizations and bug fixes completed in the opentest beta branch:

[h2]Feature Optimizations[/h2]

• Game difficulty adjustment: We’ve added in a new “Normal” difficulty which will ensure a smoother gaming experience. “Normal” difficulty has been renamed to “Hard” difficulty. ”Hard” difficulty has been renamed to “Hell” difficulty,
  
• Added a new mode for players who have completed the game to replay previous reverse tower defense levels.
  
• New phone dialogues have been added for Aoi, Ema, and Hina, further enriching their storylines.
  
• Improved the Witch Card Shop introduction: Detailed explanations of the witch cards have been added.
  
• When interacting with street demons, players will now have the option to fight the demon through a secondary confirmation button instead of jumping straight into battle.
  
• Optimized the visual effect when the Witch Card's hand cooldown is complete.
  
• Optimized the name of some checkpoints in levels to allow the player to easily understand which checkpoint they require.
  
• Optimized the position and order of the player’s Witch Card team at checkpoints.
  
• Increased the probability of triggering the positive effects of the Wheel of Fate. After triggering a negative effect, the next one will definitely be a positive effect.
  
• Remove the "Work Till You Die" and "Desensitization Therapy" achievements.
  

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

• Fixed a potential issue in the final boss stage on easy difficulty that could prevent a player’s completion.
  
• Fixed a glitch in the third segment of the police side plot where making the wrong coffee could freeze the game.
  
• Fixed some errors in conversational text and mobile phone news text.
  
• Fixed the issue where tasks from the previous round did not disappear in the second round.
  
• Fixed the occasional disappearance of the map, backpack, and phone buttons.
  
• Fixed the issue where the memory effects did not disappear after reading a memory.
  
• Fixed an issue where the selection state of the first character would change when pressing 'F' to add points.
  
• Players will not be able to switch to other cards during the Witch card upgrade tutorial, the only option is to upgrade the Strength card.

Hello Magic Apprentices! 🌟

We trust you've been weaving spells and strategizing battles with gusto in Affogato! Few days ago, we opened up a public beta test branch, for you to experience the updates we've added. With your feedback and suggestions, we're excited to share that we are rolling out 1.0.17 version for everyone to enjoy!

[h2]New Updates[/h2]

• Opening the cafe during the day will add one random stat to Affogato.
  
• Changed the number of auto-save slots to 2.
  
• Older auto-saves will be overwritten automatically by newer ones.
  
• Added the option to purchase Witch cards in the preparation phase before a battle.
  
• Added a new option to reset all card levels and refund all Soul Shards in the upgrade interface.
  
• Optimized the BGM volume during voiceover scenes.
  
• Monsters killed on the beach stage now have markers displayed both above and below the water.
  
• Fixed an issue where Witch cards could interact with the floor when returning the card to your hand
  
• Enhanced the sound effect of Sera’s demon when she appears in Chapter 4.
  
• Enhanced the sound effects for cards when it is on cooldown.
  
• Reduced the coffee-making seasoning requirement to trigger hidden dialogues with customers.
  
• You can now swipe on the game's mobile pages using a game controller.
  
• Added detailed descriptions of Witch Cards in the Witch Card shop.
  
• Added a battle cancellation option after interacting with a passerby.

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

• Fixed a bug where the oxygen bar displayed incorrectly after accessing a memory.
  
• Fixed an issue where some memory effects wouldn't disappear after accessing a memory.
  
• Resolved a problem where Affogato became unresponsive after sitting on Keke’s chair.
  
• Fixed an issue where the player’s team would unexpectedly change directions after interacting with a memory or without any input
  
• Fixed the issue where the volume of CGs was unable to be controlled
  
• Fixed a glitch where the player could access past dialogues from unintended interfaces
  
• Fixed an issue where the CG animation did not play after defeating the Chapter 1 boss.
  
• Fixed a problem where the achievement “Work till you die” was not granted when summoning the Hermit 3 times
  
• Fixed a bug where Affogato was positioned wrongly after spending time in a shop.
  
• Fixed a bug where incorrect text appeared when adding water to the coffee machine.
  
• Resolved the issue of mismatched text during Natalie’s side story second segment.
  
• Fixed the issue where items in the store would sometimes show the description of the last purchased item.
  
• Fixed the issue of the lingering Demon effect after defeating a demonic NPC.
