Hey Captains ,

We’ve just released a new update — Version 2.2.4 — focused on bug fixes, improvements, and clearer guidelines for content creation. This patch addresses several gameplay issues and adds new information to help creators build better packages.

[h2]Fixes and Improvements[/h2]

  • Fixed trip days calculation to ensure more accurate scheduling.
  • Fixed issue where fuel was incorrectly displayed after refueling during a trip stop.
  • Adjusted charterers' contracts for better balance and consistency.
  • Rearranged ship type ordering in certain UI windows for better clarity.


[h2]Workshop Guidelines Update[/h2]

  • We've added new guidelines directly in the Workshop to help you understand what makes a good custom package.
  • The "Fact" section is now optional — it’s no longer a required field in custom package submissions.


These updates aim to improve the overall user experience and make it easier to create and manage content within the community.

After months of development, we’re excited to roll out the biggest update yet — Version 2.2.1 is now live on Steam. This release brings a major expansion to how you play, including a full custom content system, gameplay improvements, and quality of life upgrades. Let’s take a look. 🚀

🛠️ Custom Content System: Your World, Your Rules

One of the most requested features has been the ability to customize the game world, and we’ve delivered a system built entirely around flexibility and creativity.

  • Add or remove ports at will,

  • Customize ports with a name, description, and specific port type,

  • Define the available products in every port,

  • Create custom in-game events and set when and how they appear,

  • Change the map’s visual style using selectable themes,


This system is modular. You can mix and match content from different creators, combine your own designs with others’, and build entirely new gameplay experiences tailored to your vision.


🌐 Community Sharing and Syncing

You can now easily share and explore custom content across the community:

  • Upload and share ports, events, and map themes,

  • Browse and download community creations directly in-game,




⚙️ Gameplay and Quality of Life Updates

Version 2.2.1 brings dozens of improvements to make gameplay smoother and more enjoyable:


  • Game speed increased by 25% for faster progression

  • Quick sell and scrap options in the ship operations screen

  • Smoother zooming and bug fixes for map navigation

  • New crew morale filter: Red → Yellow → Green,

  • Double-click a ship to open its operations view,

  • Upgrade indicators for eligible crew members,

  • Indicator for new managers CV's,

  • One-click refill and repair to maximum,

  • Toggle ship names on or off in the map view,

  • Automatic scrapping of retired ships,

  • Brighter hover highlights in ship list,

  • Search bar added to ship operations,

  • Use arrow keys to navigate the map,

One of the biggest requests we’ve gotten from you all has been more ports, more events, more control. We hear you — and we’re taking it to the next level!

We’re introducing a brand-new content system that lets you, the player, create and customize game elements:
  • ✨ Add or remove ports whenever you want
  • 🏗️ Give ports custom names, descriptions, and define what type of port they are
  • 🚢 Choose which products are available in each port
  • 🎉 Create your own in-game events to shake things up
  • 🗺️ Even change the look and feel of the map with different styles and themes
Everything is modular — so you can keep things simple or go wild with hundreds of ports and events. There’s no limit to what you can add!

Ports, events and map customs can be mixed from different creators each one of them.

Want to show off your custom world? Or maybe you just want to explore what others have made?
We’re adding support for syncing and sharing custom content online! That means:
