Infantry Beta Hotfix

A quick update to hopefully address strange oscillations (specifically on the Lynx) where the autopilot was unable to find a stable hover position for the helicopter.

I seems I didn't tie the code into the physics update system which means for anyone experiencing very low, or possibly even very high, frame rates it would cause the autopilot system to go a little wonky.

Systems like the Steam Deck may be very prone to this issue seeing as it runs HG:DEX at about 30fps.

I have now tied the autopilot into the physics update so it will run at the same rate for everyone regardless of frame rate.

Let me know if you experience any autopilot issues where the autopilot can't seem to find a hover position.

I've also updated the code so that when the autopilot is off it will consume 0 resources. Unlikely to make any noticeable difference to frame rates but every bit of optimisation helps! ːsteamsunnyː

Infantry Beta Update

This is a small update to fix a few issues and add a few new options while I get the Su-25 into fighting shape ːsteamhappyː

1. Fixed wheel/suspension alignments for all aircraft

2. Re-ordered the aircraft selection drop down so similar aircraft are now grouped together

3. Added a slider so you can set the camera dolly speed (move camera forward/back) in Control Settings

4. Fixed some bugs with infantry loading/unloading

5. Unified cargo systems across all vehicless

6. Seating for infantry is now automatically added to helicopters when infantry try to load. This means you don't have to remember to add seating on the weapons loadout screen. You will still need to manually load cargo though.

7. Trim now allows much finer control with increments now set to 0.001 instead of 0.01

8. Engine audio will now sound slightly muffled when in cockpit view - this is just a test at the moment.

AH-1Z "Hero" Preview

Here's a quick preview of the "HERO" exterior for the AH-1Z Viper. As you can see the model has undergone a drastic visual upgrade and, once it has been textured, it should look vastly superior to the current model.

The Viper will then be the 2nd fully completed helicopter which has both its "HERO" interior and exterior models next to the Kiowa.

This will be an A.I. only aircraft.



Infantry Beta Update

This update adds the following...

1. Infantry can now seek cover in near by buildings. When they occupy a building you will see them take up defensive positions.

2. Infantry inside buildings are now considered "In Cover" and receive half damage.

3. When infantry perform the village search they will occupy the building they are searching.

4. Fixed a bug where you couldn't use the next/previous target if "ALL" was selected on the TSD.

5. Vehicles should no longer spawn in buildings.

6. Vehicles will now burn correctly when destroyed.

7. Added some mission points for picking up infantry, dropping them off and when they complete their mission.

Known Bugs

1. Infantry still won't use MANPADS
