Sector System Beta Update

This update adds the following...

1. You will now hear small arms fire "pinging" off your helicopter. No damage is dealt currently though.

2. Fixed the kill log spam when infantry engage and kill another infantry unit

3. Hover Hold will now preserve the altitude mode correctly and also cycle altitude modes the same as Alt Hold.

4. Out of Range alerts on the HUD and Targeting Pod will no longer flash

5. Out of Range alerts will now clear correctly when the targeting pod is aimed into the sky

Sector System Beta Update

This update adds the following...

1. Various optimisations across all helicopter and weapon 3D models.

2. Increased the damage multiplier upto 10x for those who like to be shot down by a single 7.62mm round ːsteamlaughcryː

3. Fixed a bug in the Alt Hld system where if you were using the keyboard or assigned the control to a button it would not set the current ASL target altitude correctly. Joypad users were uneffected by this bug.

4. All door gunners now have a tighter shooting threshold so they shouldn't waste bullets firing when there is no chance of hitting.

5. Door gunners will now track targets a little quicker

6. 50cal door gunner will now prioritse APCs and IFVs above targets that don't shoot back

Sector System Beta Hotfix

This adds the following...

1. Fixed the AH-64D & AH-64D Longbow rotor blades that were rotating on the wrong axis

2. Added a small frag damage zone to the 20mm AP-T round to make it a little better against infantry.

This update adds the following...

1. All Lynx helicopters can now equip M2 .50 Cal Door Gunners. These guns have the ability to engage both APC & IFV vehicles effectively They have a range of 1,250m and a gimbal limit of 75 degrees to the front and rear giving them the widest attack angles of all the door gunners.

Their main draw back is cost, ammo levels and weight.

Question: Should the Gazelle get a .50 cal door gunner too?

2. All door gunners can now engage MANPAD carrying infantry teams correctly and will prioritise them over standard infantry teams.

3. Updated the shell casing model to use a better model. I have also scaled the casings to be the correct size which means you may not see 7.62mm casings very easily.

4. Wingmen can now unload cargo correctly when fitted with door gunners.

5. You can now unload cargo when using door gunners by pressing the "Toggle Cargo Doors" button.

This update adds the following...

1. Fixed a major bug in the rotor disc lift calculations. Thanks to Sgt Habu for spotting it and reporting it together with a video to show what was happening.

2. Infantry now have a 25% chance to carry MANPADS again ːsteamhappyː

3. Infantry can now fire their small arms at you if you get too close. This is just a visual effect at the moment but will eventaully do damage to unarmoured components/helicopters.

4. Infantry can now engage and kill enemy infantry teams. This makes clearing the landing zone of the IED mission extremely important.
