Rotwood Patch Notes [717513]

[h2]Fixes & Changes:[/h2]
  • Fixed an issue that would prevent you from interacting with anything for several seconds if you opened and closed the cooking menu rapidly.
  • The Swarm weapons will now properly play the skill queued sound.
  • The Ballmerang's passive effect of always returning to the thrower will now function when a Mirage is applied.
  • Added a new explanation about how to continue crafting boss weapons for legacy save files.

  • The final location no longer incorrectly says you can get weapons & armour there if you are playing with a gamepad
  • You can no longer charge a proto-weapon by killing Imbued Rook's Crow
  • Fixed a few scenarios that could cause the camera to get stuck
  • The Apex Predator power now correctly applies its critical chance bonus when entering a new room
  • The game will no longer attempt to load data from pre-EA save files
  • The Imbued Rook’s frost aura now correctly follows Rook in online games
  • Imbued Shell Drake no longer plays the egg shell break animations multiple times
  • Several typos and incorrect details in conversations have been corrected
  • Fixed an issue causing certain character conversations to never happen
  • Fixed an issue that would prevent the player from saving a new loadout


[h2]Changes[/h2]
  • Imbued Eggberts now spawn from nests while playing the Super Frenzy difficulty
  • Made the hitstreak nullification effect on the Gloop Top Glaze more obvious
  • When playing in the Ruined Capital on Super Frenzy 3 or higher, two minibosses will spawn in the miniboss room
  • Imbued Rook:
    • Increased the amount of time Rook is "shattered" after destroying all crystals
    • Reduced how often the crow attacks players
    • While Rook is "shattered", the crow no longer attacks players

  • All players will now see the intro cinematic when playing an online game, provided all players join in the first room of the hunt.
  • Killing a Super Frenzy version of a boss will now award credit for the "Kill Boss" steam achievements.
  • The afterimages left when doing an agile dash will no longer display the player holding a striker when they are not.
  • Fixed an issue where Rook wouldn't spawn crystals after finishing a shattered state.
  • Fixed an issue where Rook would spawn the wrong reinforcement waves.
  • Fixed a softlock that could occur during the final boss battle.
  • Rewards can now spawn from Shiny Bushes during the final hunt.
  • Fixed several issues/ typos with some translated text.
  • Added the "Press F8 to submit feedback" message back to the pause screen.
  • Improved lobby matchmaking stability.
  • Fixed a crash when attempting to position notifications before the HUD had been created.
  • Reduced the size of the high latency indicator

  • Fixed an issue where the music in Grimhollow's fight could turn off if the fight progressed too fast.
  • Lowered the volume of the Wollusk's Acid Vomit during Swarm's Super Frenzy fight.
  • Newly added villager friendship rewards are now given out retroactively to legacy save files.
  • Fixed an issue where some older save files would crash when trying to load their mastery progress data.
  • Improved the stability of matchmaking through Steam.
  • Lottie will no longer give the player a free proto-weapon if the player already has one.
  • Fixed an issue where attempting to submit feedback through F8 while the screen is fading would result in the game appearing to freeze.
  • Added additional logging to help track down issues with the camera that we have seen reported through the F8 feedback system.

  • Fixed some visual issues with Rook's imbued weapons.
  • Fixed a crash that happened when applying a Proto-Weapon Teffra Mirage.
  • Fixed a crash when trying to skip a cutscene in an online game.
  • Resolved an issue that was causing the 'join game' feature on discord to not work.
  • Resolved an issue that caused cutscenes to not display for some players.
  • Players who have already completed every weapon mastery will now be granted the appropriate achievements.
  • Fixes for various audio issues in the Grimhollow and Shell Drake fights.
  • Fixed the torch sound in the market room.
