Upcoming: Robot Rhapsody
[p]
Hello everyone!
Aaron of Rapturous Studio here! :D
First and foremost, thank you for your continued support of the game!
It’s been incredibly moving for me to see players connect with the story, themes, and characters of Beloved Rapture over multiple months since the release date.
As we continue to develop updates and DLC for it, we’re also thrilled to share some big news in an official capacity—our next project, Robot Rhapsody, is officially in early production!

Players will follow Selva, a former mercenary who once hunted rogue AI bots, yet now seeks refuge in the forested remains of a former metropolis - Moxo City.
The world's leaders' face a harsh divide between self-sustaining, 'luddite' grassroots nation-states, and the engineered perfection of AI-curated megacities.
Alongside Selva is Aurum, a robot bard bound to speak only through poetry, yet whose words may hold deeper meaning than they seem; and Jiro, a boy whom lived his entire life in a LLM-generated VR simulation tank.

Transitioning from RPG Maker 2003 to RPG Maker MZ has opened many doors in and of itself! But beyond that, I’ve been reflecting on Beloved Rapture’s reception to push for even tighter gameplay and aesthetic designs.
I've started experimenting with more open-ended gameplay loops too - so the expansive world we’re building feels less restrained in how players want to explore it.
Yet one thing that remains constant is my focus on interpersonal relationships and philosophically-minded themes in the story. Even in a new genre, my focus will always be on the emotional core of the characters.
Plus, many artists are returning as well, so we can maintain the SNES/PS1 era sensibility rather seamlessly. :')
If you enjoyed Beloved Rapture, consider following our upcoming Kickstarter campaign to stay updated and support the next chapter of our journey!
