Happy new year, everyone!

A few more game adjustments from this past week, based on user feedback:

Bug fixes:
  • Fixed bug that occurs where Johan over-levels after beating the Drago/Wyvern boss at the end of Chapter I.
  • Fixed a bug that occurred in the final battle, causing Zelos not to attack normally during certain conditions.


Battle/Stat Adjustments:
  • Tweaked the Minotaur (Man-Eater) battles from Chapter II to be slightly easier.
  • Lowered the magic offense of numerous monsters in Chapter II and III.
  • Decreased the HP + Raised the Speed of the final boss (form 1).
  • Decreased the first Wyervn boss' physical attack.
  • Lowered the magic-based attacks for the Rune Fairy in Chapter II.
  • Lowered the physical offense of the boss in Chapter II.
  • Rebalanced Isolde's overall stats.

  • Corrected various typos and graphical issues.
  • Fixed a bug where level ups were not applied to characters on Story Mode if the prologue was viewed.
  • Fixed an item duplication bug that occurred after fighting a specific soldier in Chapter 3.
  • Added "Inferno" spell to Cretus' first boss phase in Chapter 3.
  • Fixed an issue where the wrong battle theme was playing for enemies in the sewers.
  • Added a dialogue if you try to enter the sewers from the wrong side, hinting another entrance.
  • Added an extra Power Tonic item in the map right before the first boss.
  • Corrected a bug that causes character to over-level when fighting the BIG GUARD on the dueling grounds, near the Bazaar in Alexandria.
  • Changed pricing of some simple/food based items to be more balanced.
  • Fixes for Isolde's 2nd boss battle.

Additions/Balances/Bug fixes for version 1.1.8

  • Corrected various typos and graphical issues.
  • Corrected various collision issues.
  • Adjusted walk/run movement for smoother transitions between the two.
  • Corrected a bug where the item menu could be called on a loss at the Ventti table in Chapter 5.
  • Fixed an issue where fighting with the optional Gryffle boss in Chapter 5 could cause the game to crash.
  • Added point-of-no-return prompts just before entering Veritas Grotto in Chapter 1, just before progressing the story in Frasca in Chapter 2, and just before jumping off the cliff leading to Frasca in Chapter 2.
  • Corrected an issue where you could reach Kuno before triggering his side quest completion in Chapter 1.
  • Corrected an item duplication bug just before fighting Zach in Chapter 1.

Version 1.1.7.A

Hotfix - Game Version 1.1.7.A
  • Corrected various typos.
  • Added new "Quick Boots" accessory to the Raza's Traveling Emporium when visited for the second time in Chapter 3, for those who want to further prioritize speed.
  • Modified audio bug/game crashes in both iterations of the Gryffle fight.
  • Fixed audio bug for Steam Deck, in the moment before Aiden and Johan take shelter from the rain storm in Chapter 3.
  • Removed invisible mushroom item near the river south of Frasca/Merchant's Road.
  • Fixed variables related to non-functioning switch puzzle in Room 2 of the Halls of Tyrannus (Dungeon 3).
  • Fixed text/message box abnormality in the Chapter 5 Quest of finding the lost dog.


Hotfix - Version 1.1.6

Additions/Balances/Bug fixes for version 1.1.6

  • Corrected various typos and graphical issues.
  • Fixed a looping event bug that occurred when fighting the True Mimic in Chapter 6.
  • Fixed an issue that defaulted the player to running speed before toggling run.
  • Reverted game back to always open on fullscreen until a permanent solution is found to reserve window settings.
