Demo Update

  • Upgraded the main display graphics to be more vibrant and interesting in general
  • Updated item tooltips to be considerably more readable and scale better
  • Replaced all skill icons with a new set. The old set had some sourcing/attribution issues
  • Revamped Runic Blade to use a new Runic Absorption system, which stores mana spent on spells into stacks of a buff which can be consumed for various effects
  • Added a new unique power tiering system which has the potential to scale uniques to the difficulty they were found in. 16 or so uniques were updated to use this new system, more to come in the future
  • Majorly improved performance across the board
  • Reduced initial app load times by ~40%
  • Updated the tutorial graphics a bit

Major Item Bugfixes, Crafting Changes, and more!

  • Added "Nightmare Essence" to the game. Nightmare Essence is acquired by selling Nightmare Items to any vendor
  • Crafts on Nightmare items now require Nightmare Essence. This cost scales linearly with Chaos
  • All crafts now have a 100% chance to success. Rejoice in your rerolls!
  • Fixed a major bug that was reducing the number of items dropped, especially in the earlygame
  • Fixed a black screen abyss soft-lock that could occur if a Beastmaster ended a run with active avatars
  • Increased the performance of the pets

Skill Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where Divine Expedience wouldn't always apply properly
  • Fixed a bug where the Release the Hounds unique was causing issues with Wolves
  • Optimized a few buff calculations

Demo Performance Fixes

  • Fixed a major memory leak caused by previous enemy buff optimizations. If you were having issues at Depth 600+, this may provide significant relief. Let me know how things go! Big thanks to TrebliF for helping diagnose this
  • Fixed one crash on exit
  • Optimized a few things around skill usage
  • Optimized a few combat calculations to not allocate additional memory needlessly
  • Fixed one case of Blade Toss and Kinetic Blades accidentally sharing an upgrade

Ward of Elements hotfix

  • Fixed a bug where Ward of Elements was applying the incorrect buff
