Demo Fixes

  • Replaced the in-game upgrades for Kinetic Blades that originally offered Orbit Speed with ones that offer Flat Physical Damage
  • Replaced the in-game upgrades for Avatar of the Night that originally offered Orbit Speed with ones that offer Bat Fire Rate
  • Added shortcuts to the in-game upgrade selection on the keyboard. These are bound to the 1, 2, and 3 keys
  • Fixed a Rune Blast nerf that leaked from Retail to Demo
  • Fixed a bug where having both open Prefixes and Suffixes on a sacrifice craft would significantly favor the Prefixes. They are now both equally weighted
  • Fixed a bug where Green's event icons would not show up, and previous event icons would take her place. This generally manifested after killing a boss
  • Made some underlying engine changes to support a series of future fun features

Hi everyone!

It’s been a busy summer for Don’t Die, Collect Loot. I never expected things to take off like they did, and so suddenly at that! It’s been amazing watching you all theorycraft and create wacky game-breaking builds.

I am now so excited to show everyone what I have in store for the future release of the game. To that end, I’ve decided to partner with indie.io. They have an incredible track record helping solo devs like me get their games out there in front of larger audiences, which is something I’ve really struggled with. Not only will this help build a larger community, it’ll also help me focus all of my time and energy on what I do best: actually building the game.

I’m still at the helm development-wise, and will be as active on Discord and the Steam Community as ever. I’ll still be the solo dev behind Don’t Die, Collect Loot, and it’ll retain all of the wacky fourth wall-breaking ARPG silliness you’ve all come to enjoy.
