Territory – Alpha 6.19 – Performance Optimisations and Weather Effects
Large performance improvements in this update. I needed to dig into making the landscape weather effects work with the much more performant landscape method using Runtime Virtual Texturing (RVT). It makes a huge difference to the playability of the game.

- Landscape changed to more performant Runtime Virtual Texture configuration

- Chance of Dust inclement weather (calm and storm) to all seasons
- Added dynamic weather effects to all foliage and meshs (Rain, Snow, Dust)
- Player interactive weather effects – Puddle ripples, snow and dust trails with sounds effects

- Improved LOD’s for all of the large background mountain and cliff meshs
- Removed dynamic shadows from a lot of foliage that didn’t need them
- Tweaked Sky and Weather performance settings
