She was recruited into the organization by Gray Hand. Following the Gray Crows' rule that members must be of age to be sent on dangerous missions, she joined as the youngest member when she turned 19. Hand keeps giving her big and small tasks to see what she's capable of, but she always starts things off with a bang, but ends up messing up and failing to finish the job.

When she was 12 years old , she killed her mother with her own hands. In her home at the time, one of the many poverty-stricken homes in Area 13. Her father, who had died in an accident several years earlier after heading to a construction site to earn money, was a distant memory for her. Due to the death of all her guardians, she was placed in an orphanage. As for her murder of kin, she was given probation due to mitigating circumstances, including her young age and disadvantaged home environment.

When she reached the age where she was no longer under the care of the orphanage, she turned to theft to feed her hunger. Which eventually led to her committing other acts of violence and murder and was taken to a juvenile prison. While in prison, she heard rumors of a secret organization that works on the side of workers and the poor, and she miraculously escapes from prison to find it. Her journey took her to the turf of the Gray Crows, where she was taken in by the Gray Hand, who had just become their leader.

• Her real name, Kseniya, was given to her by her mother to remind her to be kind, but ironically, her desperate circumstances have led her to live the opposite of her name.
  
• She enjoys exaggerated makeup and outfit fashion to cover up her appearance that hints at a difficult childhood.
  
• When being assigned to killing or show of force missions, she becomes overly excited and tends to act out.
  
• Due to lack of proper care and education during her childhood, she is not familiar with basic common sense or social norms/morals. However, she is a naturally quick thinker and sometimes surprises others by instinctively analyzing the possible scenarios that could happen around her.

• She has a complex about her difficult childhood and tries to hide her low self-esteem that resulted from it. These feelings led to her exaggerated fashion and behavior.
  • As she got to know Crush, a bright and cheerful HARDWORKER, she usually changed her voice and manners to sound like a cooler and kinder girl than she ever was.
  
• At the end of the day, she is very depressed, and is consumed by all sorts of pessimistic delusions. The thoughts that dominate her mind then erupt into outbursts of violence and even homicidal urges when she is exposed to violent situations.
  
• In order to soothe her negative thoughts she chose to 'read a storybook or write a storybook of her own'. Paper thought that was a nice thing to do, but it was probably because he hadn't yet read the gory fairy tale she'd written, filled with -blood and guts-.

• She is terribly fond of Paper, whom she met while wandering the streets when she was about 15 years old . She seems to admire his personality, which is the exact opposite of her: thoughtful, knowledgeable, and calm.
  
• She tends to argue a lot with Hand, who brought her to the Gray Crows. "She's rude, ignorant, and often eccentric," Hand starts by telling her off, and Heavy would usually meekly agree, but sometimes she would explode and try to have a fistfight.
  
• She is waiting for the day to have a go at Hollowpoint, who tried to sneak into Paper and Heavy's scouting area, but he managed to slip away from Paper despite being discovered. Dressed in a primary-colored suit and gold jewelry, it seemed that he'd be spotted in no time, but her frustration grew when she wasn't able to find him.

Also called the 'Newspaperman'. A.B. He is the one of the few people in the organization that Gray Hand trusts. Paper is very smart and hardworking, there's a rumor that he is one of the few people who gets praised by Hand for his work.

A pure-blood Japanese, his maternal grandfather was the boss of a huge yakuza organization in Japan. When Paper was 16 years old, his family's family was decimated in a war between yakuza gangs , and they had fled to a country in Eastern Europe , narrowly avoiding being killed by the other gang.

His life became miserable in an instant, and he started reading every newspaper he could find on the street. As his wealthy and untouched background disappeared overnight, so Paper tried to devise his own survival strategy, by coveting common sense and knowledge. He was also seen sitting in the public library in District 13, reading every book in the world. It is also great fun to watch the look on the librarian's face when Paper shows up at the library, because the librarian doesn't like that Paper always checks out books without paying, and then returns them late.

After his life was turned upside down, he wandered the streets for several years, supporting himself with odd jobs and begging. He than met and befriended Gray Heavy, but in the end he went to Gray Hand and became a member of A.B. organization.

In A.B., he was tasked with espionage and assassination missons. His sword skills, honed during his time in the Yakuza, allowed him to take out targets silently without making a sound. He also has a keen eye for political and social phenomena and is well versed in the written and spoken languages, which allowed him to successfully carry out important tasks such as negotiations and handling confidential information.

• Even though he is in A.B. and receives assistance for living, he scavenges through trash cans for food and clothing in okay condition. People around him are wondering if he's gotten into undercover work or if it's just part of his lifestyle.
  
• He likes to wear large coats and overcoats. If he happens to see a logo of a luxury brand while picking up discarded clothes, he is very happy even though he knows that it is a knockoff.
  
• He has a good reputation within the organization for being quiet and diligent in his work. He has above-average common sense in a wide range of areas and is considered a jack-of-all-trades who has self-taught Russian and English to himself.
  
  

[ Personality ]

• As a young man, he was the prototypical member of a Yakuza family. Even as a teenager, he was living a life of violence and debauchery, backed by his family background and organization.
  
• But when his organization and family fell, his survival instinct forced him to learn humility. He began to seek out books and newspapers to gain the knowledge he needed to live in this world.
  
• He's very quiet and doesn't change his facial expressions much, so no one around him really knows his past. But they make guesses on the irezumi Yakuza tattoos that cover his body.
  

[ Relationships ]

• He considers Heavy, whom he met when he fled to Eastern Europe and was taken in by his maternal uncle, his first true companion and comrade. After meeting her, who was younger than him and had been exposed to even more desperate circumstances, Paper gradually came to live as her protector. As their days together grow longer, Paper sees Heavy becoming increasingly dependent on him, and a paternal feeling he has never experienced before is beginning to grow on him.
  
• Since joining A.B., he's had many conversations with HARDWORKER Grasper who came to share the organization's various policies. To be exact, it was mostly just Grasper talking by himself. In the meantime, Paper is interested in the stories about the heads of organizations like HARDWORKER Zero that is slipped by Grasper's chatter.
  
• He once had a physical altercation with Mr. Hollowpoint, an agent of A.S. Masters, who was spying on him. For the first time in his life, Paper was confronted with a conflict with an organization other than A.B., and he was perplexed. When Heavy learns of the conflict between Paper and Hollowpoint, she went on a rampage, and he realized that he needs to take out Hollowpoint and the forces behind it quickly, if only for Heavy's safety.

  • Perhaps to hide his past as a member of a Yakuza family, he wraps himself in long-sleeved clothing, such as long coats and windbreakers, even in hot summer weather.
  
• He wears an old long coat he picked up off the street on his way to join A.B. and enjoys wearing it every day. The brand tag on the lining of the coat bore the logo of an Italian luxury brand in crude print quality, but it was crude enough to give it away as a fake.
  • But Paper didn't pay attention to the brand, saying it fit well and was easy to move around in, so he started coveting it as his number one treasure.
  
• He often tears out certain sections of the newspaper while reading. And he glued torn newspapers all over his precious long coat. Soon his coat was covered entirely in newspaper, and the pieces were being replaced and pasted over with new ones from time to time.
  • The newspaper articles taped to the coat are usually about corrupt politicians and businessmen, or protests by labor unions. Within days, the person mentioned in the article is assassinated, and the some discussions linked to these people or organizations would go through quickly.
  
• Paper's knowledge and neatness made him well-liked at the Crows, and he was nicknamed the "News Paper Man" after his fashion for wearing a coat that looked like it was made of newspaper.

  - Aside from newspapers, it's the book he spent the most time reading. Aside from the illegal information necessary for the life of a yakuza, Paper had little opportunity to develop a real worldly sense of common sense. As a result, he's always curious about new areas of knowledge he didn't know about, so he's been poring over the pages of encyclopedias.

A young man in his 20s, but he is the spiritual pillar for the Crows in Europe. He keeps his identity a secret from the public, and shortly after A.B. organization was founded, he was made the de facto leader of the Crows.

Hand was born to a mixed-race family with a Japanese father and Russian mother. He grew up in Japan as a child, and has been wandering around Russia and Eastern European countries since his teen age years. Due to his thin build and mixed race appearance, he has faced racism and bullying in both Japan and Russia.

As he became an adult, he developed a strong concern for the poor and the alienated and consistently advocated an ideology of equality and hope on the Internet. He collected tons of data on the political/business and military/police systems of various countries with his excellent hacking skills, which he used to call for a more ideal world. The nickname he used as an Internet polemicist, 'The Visible Hand' [active moderator], was called the 'Hand' by many low-income people, and he gained idol-like support.

But after sitting down with Zero to discuss the formation of the coalition and the grand plans for the future, he was stance has turned over 180 degrees, as if he became a different person. No longer did he call for justice and fairness with a warm heart. For more than a year now, he has been working with terrifying intensity to create the weapons and equipment needed for a fighting organization. At night, he walks around in a bizarre mask and an assortment of weapons, ruthlessly terrorizing anyone who doesn't fit into A.B.'s idealized world.

• After hacking into the classified information of military contractors and learning the key manufacturing processes, Hand uses these information to create and utilize a variety of specialized weapons. Hand's hobbies include throwing flash grenades to wreak havoc in an area or using personal time bombs. He also has a sickening hobby where he takes pleasure in watching his targets freak out at the sight of a ticking time bomb attached to their bodies.
  
• One of his strategic weapons is white phosphorus ammunition, which has been modified to reduce its power and make it easier to handle. He predicts the enemy's path of travel and restricts their movement with the flame zone of the white phosphorus ammunition. While some have braved the burning zone, the price of ignoring the flaming white phosphorus at room temperature only led to incapacitation.

• A bomber, that hides his face by a mask and hood and commits acts of terror with his bombs. People, including the media, call him B.I.N. (the Bomber In the Night). It's not known what drove Hand to this behavior, but what's even more bizarre is that his current appearance was created in just over a year.
  
• He was placed in an incubator as soon as he was born. Born sickly, his parents gave him the name 'Ruslan' in hopes that he would grow up to be healthy. Despite this desperate hope, Hand's slow physical growth only led to his childhood being looked down upon and bullied by those around him.
  
• Since becoming the leader of the Gray Crows, he has been building the weapons and information/communications infrastructure necessary for the organization's missions. The organization gains vital intelligence from Hand's CCTV and eavesdropping equipment, and each member is outfitted with a customized weapon that suits them.
  

[ Personality ]

• A man of few words, he's hard to get to know and usually wears a special carbon fiber mask and a hooded poncho made of flame-resistant material.
  
• On the rare occasions when the words do come out of his mouth, he is not good with words which makes it quite frustrating for those trying to have a conversation with him. His conversations are also centered around the weapons and machines he's researching. Rumor has it that those who remember Hand's breadth and depth of knowledge and brilliant writings that once set the Internet ablaze were shocked to meet him in person.
  
• He is generally not interested in other people, but when he gets interested in someone, he obsessively observes and analyzes them. He is often seen watching the person he is interested in and smiling crookedly.
  
• When he's not working, he can be found immersed in comic books and anime. Paper once walked in on Hand's rest day and complained, "All he watches are cartoons about little girls with guns.
  

[ Relationships ]

• After his talk with Zero since the formation of A.B., Hand's personality has changed dramatically. Originally, he was a member of the Crows, criticizing the absurdity of social structures and advocating for welfare to bring harmony between classes, mainly through the Internet. He would also sponsor young children who had lost their parents and were in need. But after becoming the second head of the Gray Crows, he began to transform into an extremist terrorist, spearheading A.B.'s destructive and radical agenda.
  
• HARDWORKER Crush is one of the few people around Hand that he recognizes as a technician. He feels it is hard to get used to her cheerful, sociable voice and her behavior, such as barging into his workspace, but when the topic of conversation turns to mechanical equipment, he's seems quite pleased even through his mask. In his conversation with Crush, Hand sometimes even forgets when to breathe, and his excitement is evident in his spittle splattering talks.
  
• Ever since Ms. Twin started working undercover at the local burger joint, he's been there every day with HARDWORKER Grasper. Feeling uncomfortable with the two men staring at her with strange looks in their eyes, Twins give Hand and Grasper a hard time.
  
• In a construction site frozen in time with no owner, Hand spots Ms. One. He didn't like the fact that the members of A.S., who were against the A.B., dared to tread on his turf. She was a formidable fighter, but he managed to mortally wound her and send her home. But knowing she was still alive, Hand smiled with excitement, and began to scribble notes about One in his log book.
  

[ Physical Attributes ]

• He is a young man with the appearance of a mixture of mainland Japanese and Slavic Russian. He has deep eye sockets, a strong and tall nose, black hair and eyes, and a piercing eye-line, so it's easy to tell at first glance that he is a half-blooded person of East and West.
  
• Hand is quite thin, a reflection of his sickly childhood and bullying-ridden adolescence.
  
• He wears many layers of clothing to conceal his appearance. He's especially fond of wearing hooded ponchos and baggy pants to make it hard to tell his size.
  
• To protect his body from impact and poisons while still covering the face, he wears a gas mask and respirator specially made from carbon fiber.
  
• He also wears force-enhancing mechanical gloves to overcome his lack of physical prowess. The fingertips of the gloves have claw-like metal finish that can inflict severe wounds.

• He doesn't care much about his appearance, other than his wavy hair. When his hair gets to the point where it's quite long, he will go get a curly hair perm done without anyone noticing it.
