2026 Anniversary Fan Art Contest!

[p][/p][p]Rift of the NecroDancer is turning one year old! To celebrate, we're hosting a fan art contest inviting players to design an original outfit for Cadence to celebrate Rift’s first anniversary![/p][p]Submissions are voluntary and intended for fun, celebration, and the possibility of creative collaboration with the development team. Submission does not guarantee in-game inclusion. No prior art experience is required.[/p][p]We encourage everyone to participate and have fun expressing their ideas![/p]
  • [p]How to participate: Design an original outfit for Cadence to wear at Rift’s first anniversary following the theme depicted below.[/p]
  • [p]Theme: Cadence Through Time.[/p]
    • [p]Draw Cadence wearing a festive outfit to celebrate Rift’s first anniversary. The party outfit should be inspired by different decades or centuries, from the past or the future.[/p]
  • [p]Prize: Selected designs may be implemented in Rift of the NecroDancer and may become official Cadence outfits added to the Rift Profiles for players to equip. Participants of selected designs may also receive a DLC Music Pack of their choice.[/p]
  • [p]Selection: Two designs may be selected. One chosen by our lovely Discord community, from a group of finalists selected by Brace Yourself Games, and the other chosen by the developers at Brace Yourself Games.[/p]

Friday Night Funkin' and UNBEATABLE Enter the Rift!

    • [p]Offsets were tweaked for some tracks that were deemed particularly 'drifty' - the changes should help songs feel more accurate[/p]

  • [p]Fixed issues with overlapping or misplaced enemies on a few older tracks. This was done very carefully to preserve scoring potential[/p]

    • [p]Spookhouse Pop Impossible had overlapping monsters (beat 325)[/p]
    • [p]Amalgamaniac Easy had misplaced enemies (beat 250-280)[/p]
    • [p]Eldritch House Impossible had misplaced enemies (beat 23, beat 54, beat 165)[/p]
  • [p]Fixed incorrect subdivisions on the following tracks[/p]
    • [p]Count Funkula Impossible[/p]

  • [p]Fixed diamonds not being rewarded if a track was cleared for the first time by the following method:[/p]
    • [p]Enter practice mode > enter normal gameplay via pause menu > clear song[/p]
    • [p]This fix is not retroactive, songs with missed diamonds will have to be cleared again[/p]
