Here are the results of the crackdown on abusive users carried out between 4/25 (Fri) – 5/8 (Thu).

We are inspecting abusive gaming behavior to ensure that all Descendants can enjoy the game in a pleasant environment.

If you notice any abnormal or abusive behavior while playing, please report it through the in-game report feature.


Please see below for the detailed outcome of the crackdown.



■ Crackdown status
- Crackdown period: 2025.4.25(Fri) – 2025.5.8(Thu) PDT

■ Creation, distribution, or use of unauthorized programs - Permanent game ban (51 users)
- Actions have been taken for creating, distributing, or using unauthorized programs.





■ Exploitation of all processes related to the Open Store – Permanent game ban (20 users)

- Actions were taken because of unfair gains by exploitation on store payment process.



■ Detection of Unusual Gameplay Activity

- Unusual gameplay activity was detected, and actions have been taken in accordance with our operational policy.



**30-day restriction on game access (15 users)


**3-day separate matchmaking penalty (316 users)

- The outcome of the crackdown on abusive users includes enforcement actions taken based on Descendant’s reports and monitoring.

- If you would like to vindicate yourself in relation to a claim on the exploitation of the Open Store's payment process, please visit our official website > Customer Service > 1:1 Support and make your inquiry.

- If you would like to vindicate yourself in relation to a claim on the exploitation of the payment process through chargebacks, please contact the platform store where you made the payment.

Here are the major issues that were found for The First Descendant in May.

We will continually update this notice with any additional issues and bugs that are found, as well as any impactful issues identified before May. Please keep track of the updates during your gameplay.

[May 29th]
■ (#7) (Resolved) Issue where the ‘Acquisition Info’ of Research Material items obtainable through Amorphous Material is not displayed
- This issue will be resolved on the 1.2.19b hotfix, between May 29 and 30.


[May 23rd]
■ (#5 Resolved) Login Event Page Not Automatically Popping Up Upon Login
- We have identified an issue where the Login Event page does not automatically pop up upon logging into the game, resulting in rewards not being automatically granted.
- Please note that rewards will be granted normally when accessing the Login page via the in-game menu (ESC) > Events tab.
- Also, please note that the number of login days continues to accumulate even if the rewards are not claimed on a given day.

[May 22nd]
■ (#5 Resolved) Issue where information about the “Mutant Cell” item is not displayed in the Library
- We have identified an issue where the “Mutant Cell” acquisition source and the “Spoils Box” item are not appearing in the Library list.
- This issue will be resolved in the upcoming 1.2.19 hotfix patch.

■ (#5 Resolved) Issue where the name of the 4-Star Raley Order of Victory Medal is displayed abnormally

■ (#5 Resolved) Issue where module information is not displayed correctly when checking loadouts in the weapon list
- We have identified an issue where the equipped modules on weapons are not correctly reflected when checking loadouts from the weapon list, and only the module in the first slot is displayed
- This issue will be resolved in the upcoming 1.2.19 hotfix patch.

■ (#5 Resolved) Issue where Albion’s default entry position resets after reconnecting to the game
- We have identified an issue where the default entry location in Albion resets upon reconnecting to the game.
- This issue will be resolved in the upcoming 1.2.19 hotfix patch.

■ (#3) Issue where the screen displays abnormally when selecting an item under “View Related Products” in the shop
- We have been identified where the screen displays incorrectly when following the steps: Shop > Select Item > View Related Products > Details.
- This issue will be resolved in the upcoming 1.2.19 hotfix patch.

■ (#3) Issue where part of the Descendant skin disappears during the “Misty Escape” spawn animation with some skins equipped

[May 15th]
■ (#3) (Resolved) [PS] Audio Issue – No Sound During Gameplay
- An issue has been identified on the PS platform where the sound may stop playing after a certain period during gameplay.
- This issue will be addressed in the upcoming 1.2.18 patch update.

[May 2nd]
■ (#1) (Resolved) Issue with ingame event – ‘Weekly Fire Support’ weekly challenge reset
- An issue where the weekly challenges for the currently ongoing ‘Weekly Fire Support’ event are being reset.
- To minimize confusion regarding event participation and rewards for our descendants due to this issue, we have decided to allow all event rewards obtained through the reset to be retained.
- Therefore, please feel free to continue participating in the event until the Weekly Fire Support missions are changed next Thursday.
- We sincerely apologize for any confusion caused by this event error and will strive to provide a more stable service.

[Previous Known Issues]
■ (#3) (Resolved) An issue where wing dye is not applied to Serena's Albion Academy Summer Uniform Set.

■ (#3) (Resolved) Issue Where the Descendant Disappears When Entering Photo Mode in Certain Situations
- An issue has been identified where the Descendant disappears from the screen when entering Photo Mode after positioning them against a wall and adjusting the camera so that they are no longer visible.

■ Freyna’s Exclusive Quest Icon Appearing for Other Descendants
- Freyna’s exclusive quest cannot be played with other Descendants and can only be progressed with Freyna or Ultimate Freyna.

■ Intel CPU Issue.
- Crashes have been reported on some Intel 13th and 14th generation CPUs.
- On PCs using these CPUs, the game may forcefully shut down with an error message stating 'Out of video memory' when launched.
This issue can be partially resolved by adjusting power limits in the BIOS.
- We are awaiting a response from Intel regarding this issue, and we are sharing Intel's official response for your reference.

■ Temporary solutions for client termination issues with certain antivirus Programs
- We have requested for exceptions for The First Descendant to antivirus programs, but some have not been implemented. Below are temporary solutions for this problem.
(1) ‘Bitdefender’ Temporary Solution [FAQ]
- Go to System Protection > Advanced Threat Detection (ATD) > Manage Exclusions menu, select the file or folder for The First Descendant, and save.
(2) ‘McAfee Agent’ Temporary Solution [FAQ]
- Go to McAfee Security > Navigation > Quarantined and Trusted Items, select TheFirstDescendant.exe from the quarantined programs list, and restore it.

■ Solutions for ‘Easy Anti-Cheat’ not functioning correctly
- If Easy Anti-Cheat malfunctions, refer to the FAQ for solutions. If the issue persists, please contact customer support with relevant screenshots.

Content Improvements
(1) Descendants
- Added "Max Number of Creations" to the Skill Info window UI of "Merciless Cuisine" for Ultimate Blair's Modification Module "Next-level Recipe."

(2) Equipment
- Improved Set Effects for 2 External Components.
ㄴ "Plague" 4-Set Effect: Changed so that the effects are always given when acquiring Custom Resources, even if the player is at maximum Custom Resource capacity.
ㄴ "Enlightened Mage" 4-Set Effect: Increased the duration of the "Truth" effect. (5s → 15s)

Shop
- Added new products.


Bug Fixes
(1) Content
- Fixed an issue where the game client would close when playing in Sigma Sector with Ray Tracing enabled on the PS5 Pro.
- Fixed an issue where the accumulated login time for the 'Ingris Guardian Blair' event would occasionally reset after reconnecting to the game.

(2) Descendants
- Fixed an issue where Ultimate Blair's "Deadly Feast" skill was not properly hitting Dazed Colossi.

(3) Weapons & Modules
- Fixed an issue where some Firearm Module groups were incorrectly configured.


(4) UI & UX
- Fixed an issue where information was displayed with center-alignment on the Inventory > Info screen.
- Fixed an issue where the Options > Gameplay > Skill Cooldown Details option settings were reset after exiting the game.
- Fixed an issue where some items in the Shop preview page would display the previous item when switching to different items.
