Content Improvements
(1) Content
- Invasion: Improved the mechanics of the Order of Truth Dungeon.
ㄴ Removed Arche Pillars that didn't display any Symbols.
ㄴ Improved Arche Pillars so now they face toward the inside of the Battle area.
ㄴ Simplified the design of the Symbols displayed on the Arche Pillars and reduced the number from 6 to 4.

ㄴ Fixed an issue where skills would continue to target the Tumors of the Arche Pillars even after they were destroyed.
ㄴ Improved Pillars so Tumors do not regenerate after they are destroyed.
ㄴ Reduced the number of hits needed to destroy Arche Pillar Tumors from 5 to 3.
ㄴ Adjusted the movement path of the Ancestor Drone.
ㄴ Reduced the movement speed of the Ancestor Drone.
ㄴ Changed the direction of the Symbol displayed above the Ancestor Drone to be vertical.
ㄴ Reduced the number of hits needed to destroy the Malignant Tumor blocking the door from 3 to 2, allowing it to be cleared in one attempt.
ㄴ Increased Range and Firing Rate of the Inversion Energy Emitter.
ㄴ Fixed an issue where Gates would receive DMG if the Descendant would hit a Gate with a skill while having a module equipped that lowered the Skill Power Modifier and also had "Inversion Energy Emitter" equipped.
ㄴ Increased Melee Monster Spawn Rate.
- Invasion: Improved the mechanics of the Legion of Immortality Dungeon.
ㄴ Removed the time limit for Artificial Brain Input after the first supply.
ㄴ Changed the amount of Artificial Brains that have to be supplied to 20.
ㄴ Changed the amount of Artificial Brains the player can hold from 15 to 10.
ㄴ Moved the location of the "Phase Separation Veil Generator" near the "Computing Unit" in Battles with named monsters.
- Invasion: Improved the mechanics of the Legion of Darkness Dungeon.
ㄴ Adjusted the Arche Tile positions to make it easier to identify them.
ㄴ Reduced the Arche Tile Occupation time to 3 seconds.
ㄴ Simplified the color and symbols displayed on the Arche Tiles and reduced the number from 6 to 4.

ㄴ Removed the Suicide Bomber that would destroy Arche Tiles.
ㄴ Reduced the Spawn Rate of Raiders who would reduce the Arche Tile Occupancy.
ㄴ Changed the Symbols to stay on the Arche Tiles longer after stepping off the Central Control Unit.
ㄴ Added more Central Control Units to allow identifying Arche Tile more easily in some Dungeons.
- Overall fixed the Difficulty of Named Monster Patterns in Invasion Dungeons.
ㄴ All: Reduced the frequency of skill use during Immunity.
ㄴ Ledras: Reduced the quantity and frequency of Guided Projectiles during Immunity.
ㄴ Sigvore: Reduced the skill use frequency of the High-Angle Projectiles and reduced the duration of AOE remaining from Explosives during Immunity.
ㄴ Goroth: Reduced the skill use frequency of Guided Projectile skills and removed the Shield Bearer summoning skill during Immunity.
ㄴ Gramoth: Reduced the skill use frequency of Thermite Grenade during Immunity.
ㄴ Vrignid: Removed the use of Guided Projectile skills and reduced the frequency of Barrier Wall usage during Immunity.
ㄴ Agonia: Reduced the Ice Prison skill use frequency during Immunity.
ㄴ Dreadful Abomination: Reduced the Beam skill use frequency during Immunity.
ㄴ Dmigor: Removed the use of Beam skill and reduced the Mycelium skill use frequency during Immunity. Reduced the Teleportation skill use frequency in combat.
ㄴ Tistruin: Removed the use of Guided Projectile skill and reduced the Induction Power, also reduced the Beam skill use frequency during Immunity.
ㄴ Gruncah: Removed the Beam skill and changed the AOE skill to be the main Skill during Immunity.
ㄴ Karon: Reduced the Shield Fire skill use frequency during Immunity.
ㄴ Ginette: Reduced the Monster Summon skill use frequency during Immunity.
- Increased Hailey Research Material rewards available at each Clear Time in Invasion Dungeons from 3, 2, 1. to 5, 4, 3.
- Improved the Inversion Reinforcement skill effect.

- Shield Increase of Overwhelming Shield has been increased to 26.8% of Max HP
- HP Increase of Overwhelming HP has been increased to 19.8% of Max Shield.
- Decreased DEF and HP of Pyromaniac (Standard, Hard) in Intercept Battle. Also decreased HP and Shield of the "Hummingbirds" which appears in Executioner and Pyromaniac Intercept Battles.
- Kill Score for defeating monsters in certain Hard Infiltration Operations has been increased.
ㄴ Kingston: Magister Lab, Sterile Land: Unknown Laboratory, Fortress: Quarantine Zone
- Shortened the time required to interact with objects.

Bug Fixes
(1) Content
- Missions have been adjusted to start only after entering the Largescale Outpost barricade.
- Fixed an issue where incorrect text prompts were displayed when there is a nearby makeshift camp located in a different battlefield.

(2) UI/UX
- Fixed an issue in the Voltage Charge effect of EXCAVA where the amount of Max Stacks was incorrectly displayed in the next stage of the Enhance Unique Ability screen.
- Fixed an issue where the Equipment Tier would display "TEXT" when using "Filter all as junk", for Descendants who had it set to "Designate all Tiers" before the update.

(3) Descendants
- Fixed an issue where "Reference Distance" is incorrectly displayed to be seemed it is affected by "Skill Effect Range related stats in the skill info screen of Hailey's Safe Strategic Retreat
- Fixed abnormal slipping that happened when Hailey used the Zenith skill after a Sub Attack utilizing Grappling Hook.

- Fixed abnormal slipping that happened when Hailey used the Zenith skill after using a Sub Attack following the use of the Grappling Hook.
- Fixed abnormal slipping that happened when Hailey used the Zenith skill after a Sub Attack utilizing Grappling Hook.

(4) Modules
- Fixed an issue where summoning a Turret within Jayber's Turret Zone with a Module affecting Skill Effect Range equipped, the Turret Zone would not expand as much as it should, due to the Range Module.
- Fixed an issue where, if Jayber has the 'Turret Engineering' Module equipped, the Turret Engineering skill could duplicate Turret Zones.

# Director's Additional Comment
Greetings, Descendants. This is the Director of The First Descendant, Minseok Joo.

Based on community feedback and data, the Dev Team has analyzed the success rate of the Invasion Dungeons and adjusted the Difficulty of puzzles and battles against named bosses.
Although not yet included in the 1.1.1 update, we are also working on adding matchmaking to the Invasion Dungeons. We are committed to improving this feature so that you can enjoy Invasion Dungeons with your Party as soon as possible.

We have also increased the amount of rewards of Hailey's Research Materials that can be obtained in the Invasion Dungeons.
In the 1.1.0b Update, we improved the drop rate of Hailey's Research Materials as Infiltration Operation rewards. But based on continuing community feedback about how difficult the farming is,
we have adjusted the rewards for clearing Invasion Dungeons, so now 12-20 research materials can be received daily, depending on the trophy earned. We hope this adjustment allows more players to farm Hailey more easily and enjoy the game.

We have improved the effectiveness of Inversion Reinforcement and removed penalties. Additionally, stacking conditions have also been reduced, so it is easier to trigger.
This enhancement of Inversion Reinforcement includes a lot of defensive effects, so we hope it will help the Descendants to make their builds even more aggressive.

One of the major changes for this Season has been that the usage of the Hard Infiltration Operation has seen a significant increase since the Season update.
The rise in participation stems from increased activity by those farming Hailey in the Infiltration Operation and improved Reward Efficiency. The Dev Team hopes that the Infiltration Operation will become an important farming location
and is preparing to make adjustments to some sections with traps to provide a better gameplay experience.
Finally, in the second update scheduled for October 10, we plan on introducing Infiltration Operations of the highest difficulty. We will continue to incorporate your feedback to ensure an even more engaging and fun battle experience.

- Increased Hailey’s Research Material(Enhanced Cells, DNA, Stabilizer, Spiral Catalyst, Data Chip) drop rate in Infiltration Operation
- To prevent AFK farm in Void Fusion Reactors where Vulgus Elites are spawned, at least 2 Vulgus Elites will be spawned.
- Fixed an issue where the Intercept Battle Results Screen was crashed intermittently.
- Fixed an issue where frame drop occurs when using [PC] Nvidia DLSS Frame Generation

Greetings, Descendants. This is the Director of The First Descendant, Minseok Joo.

First, I would like to apologize for everyone who had inconvenience since Season 1 Update. Everyone’s support is incredibly appreciated, and our Dev Team is currently doing our greatest effort to resolve the current issue. Throughout this Dev Note, we would like to share some countermeasures regarding the Invasion Dungeon and Hailey’s farming difficulty issue.

Summary
ㆍModification in Invasion Dungeon and Inversion Reinforcement: Reduce difficulty of puzzle mechanics, buff Inversion Reinforcement and delete penalty in the next week 1.1.1 update.
ㆍImproved Hailey Farming Process: Increase Hailey’s Equipment Material drop rate in this week’s 1.1.0b hotfix.
ㆍImproved Development Process: FGT and prior feedback in consideration
ㆍImprove Community Communication: We will fully listen and reflect everyone’s opinion and will try our best to make better improvements.

For Invasion Dungeons, to provide faster and better experience, we will lower the difficulty of the puzzle mechanics and will modify the monster spawning.

For Order of Truth, to make it easier to remember, the pattern will be simplified and Arche pillars without patterns will be deleted. The direction of the Arche pillar will be adjusted to look toward the battle area, and the drone’s pattern will be designed vertically. Also, to make the gameplay experience better, tumors that cover the pattern and the ones that block the door will be easier to destroy it. Also, tumors that were once destroyed will not be regenerated.

For the Legion of Darkness, the occupation Time of an Arche Tile will be shortened, and the Tile will be rearranged so that they are more easily distinguishable. The number of wrong Arche Tile will be reduced, and self-destructive monsters which steals the Arche Tile will be deleted. In color puzzles, symbols will be added so players with color weakness will more easily enjoy the game. Lastly, barrier HP for named monsters will be weakened.

Just like other Legions, the puzzle mechanics for the Legion of Immortality will be modified in an easier way. As the Invasion event for Legion of Immortality starts today, based on today’s feedback, we will find more specific countermeasures.

Also, Inversion Reinforcement will also be improved. To let everyone fully enjoy the Inversion Reinforcement system, we are planning to buff most of the effects and will delete the penalty.

Modification in Difficulty for Invasion Dungeons and Inversion Reinforcement will be fixed next Thursday on 1.1.1 Update. Throughout the update, we will try our best to let everyone fully enjoy the Invasion Dungeon in a more comfortable way. After that, we are planning to add matchmaking systems so users can play the Invasion Dungeon as multiplayer mode.

Also, the drop rate for Hailey’s Research Material (Enhanced Cells, DNA, Stabilizer, Spiral Catalyst, Data Chip) in Invasion and Infiltration Operations will be increased.
Our Dev Team wanted everyone, including our users who only have limited time, to finish Hailey in 12 days (in average). Also, we wanted to better support users who can invest a lot of time to farm Hailey faster through the Infiltration Operation.
However, to accommodate opinion that Hailey’s farming takes too long, we are planning to increase the drop rate for Hailey’s Research Material about 2 times faster.

The drop rate for Hailey’s Research Material will be updated this Saturday on Hotfix 1.1.0b.

Furthermore, we will improve our development process to meet the expectations of our players in future updates. We are considering having FGT (Focus Group Testing) after development is completed, or inviting players to gather feedback before the update is released and incorporating that feedback into the final release.

Our dev team has been listening to various opinions about the first major update from the community. We will continue to respond quickly to issues, communicate improvement directions transparently, and do out best to ensure that Descendants can enjoy The First Descendant for a long time.
