Skill system, bigger chests, important fixes and more (v0.4.2)
Hey Survivors,
this update adds a new skill system to the game which has 5 different categories at the moment (aim, strength, crafting, cooking, breath). Each skill category has different impacts on the game mechanics and can be skilled through different tasks.
At first, some tasks may take a bit longer than before the update or tools will break faster, but as soon as you acquire some levels on your skills, you will become faster, better and your crafted tools will hold even longer.

- New skill system added
- New skill category: aim (impacts aiming with bows and throwing of spears)
- New skill category: strength (impacts damage done to harvestable objects and animals through melee)
- New skill category: crafting (impacts durability of crafted tools)
- New skill category: cooking (impacts cooking time and food durability)
- New skill category: breath (impacts how long the player can dive underwater)
- Increased maximum durability of all weapons and tools
- The watch interface can now switch between stats and skills
- Added a new tutorial step for the skill interface on the watch
- Added new, smaller notifications for skill level-ups or the consuming of food and water items
- Added buildable plank chest (12 slots, can be built on the sail boat but not on the raft)
- Crude fires, Campfires and Forge coal fires can now be extinguished with a bottle or flask full of saltwater
- By pressing and holding the pickup button, several items can now be picked up one after the other
- Graphic setting FOV will now be saved and reloaded
- Graphic setting slider for Motion Blur added
- Added some more small wreckage/debris sites
- Adjusted the behavior of coconut physics, they will no longer fly away in water after being hit by an arrow or spear
- The save menu on shelters or beds can no longer be opened multiple times, preventing to get back into the game
- Trees, ground foliage, rocks and iron ore deposits that were destroyed or harvested will now save and reload correctly, preventing unwanted trees in your home
- Collision and spawn point from the coal item of the campfire adjusted
- Coal spawn point of the coal oven adjusted
- Brick Roof Corners will reload correctly and no longer spawn as Palm Roof Corners
- Leather crafting time on the tanning rack adjusted
- Changed and added some descriptions in the credits menu
- Minor graphical updates
