It's finally time to visit Southfield - our demo is available to play! Here's just a few things you need to know before you get started...
This demo gives you a flavour of what's to come. There's plenty to dig into, with quirky islanders to meet, quests to complete, crops to harvest for seeds, and the ability to build your very own farmstead. You'll be growing in no time!
[h3]🌱 Bug Reporting & Player Support 🌱[/h3]
But this is still just a demo, right? So, we're expecting there to be bugs. And we want to make you aware of our process for bug reporting and accessing player support.
We've detailed all the key issues we think you might stumble across in our Known Issues thread (available on the Steam Discussion Board or in our Discord community server).
Reporting a bug is easy enough! Feel free to pop it in the Bug Megathread over on the Discussion Board, or consider joining us on Discord for quick and easy troubleshooting. It'd be super helpful for us if you could include some basic information, like your PC specs and (if possible) reproduction steps.
Please be aware that we are a small UK-based studio, monitoring channels from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, so there may be a delay in getting back to you.
[h3]🌱 Saving in Southfield 🌱[/h3]
We also wanted to let you know that the save function in the Southfield demo has been disabled. We know this might be frustrating, especially for players who want to save and come back for more - but despite our best efforts, the save feature was causing too many issues when reloading the game, and we decided to turn it off for a less buggy experience.
Still, we'll be into Early Access before you know it. The Island is already changing so much, it'll feel like a fresh start with so much more to explore. And you can help shape the Southfield of the future!

We chose to release Southfield as an Early Access game because we want you to be a part of our development process. Southfield is already alive and thriving, ready to welcome you - but this is a journey, and your feedback, ideas and support will help our Island (and our game) grow!
