Greetings!

Deck of Souls has a brand-new bumper update! We combined the second and fourth stages of our roadmap into one release.

We've listened to players and have implemented the option to change the card placed under an enemy. Now, the card will return to your hand and the spent stamina used to play it will be returned accordingly. However, you can only do this three times per battle, so choose wisely.

Here's what else is new in the latest update:

• Added difficulty modifiers, which players will unlock by completing the third act.
  
• Added the ability to permanently improve the hero's stats between runs. This option will become available at level 5. If you have already reached this level, you will need to replay it to unlock the new feature.
  
• Added 3 new cards.
  
• Added 3 new passives.

We've implemented all of the changes and we're finally ready to unveil the first Early Access update for Deck of Souls!

What's new:

• Three new enemies in the city;
  
• Two new backgrounds – with visual effects – for the city;
  
• Five new relics.
  

We have also prepared a number of QoL improvements based on your feedback:

• Provided clarity on the order in which cards are played. We hope there will be no more issues with this.
  
• Accelerated animations. You can now select the speed in the game settings.
  
• Added description of the conditions to unlock new classes.
  
• Removed the need to select a class after finishing the tutorial.
  
• It is now clear which items can and cannot be upgraded..
  
• Updated the localization for several languages.
  
• And several other changes.
