vivid/stasis 5.5.1 patch notes
Greetings to all vivid/stasis players! This is the changelog for version 5.5.1.
This version fixes a lot of bugs from the past update, but also, in the time between 5.5.0's release and now, we've enlisted the help of programmer and Hajimeli community member BlockOG to fix and polish up a lot of long-standing bugs and issues with the game! There will be more fixes and optimizations coming from them in version 6.0 as well, but we need more time to test those, so they've been left out of the build for now.
- Added a BACKSTAGE chart for "G e n g a o z o"
- Added "Saturday (NEODITRONIX)" portrait to shop
- Updated music in credits
- Updated credits text
- Fixed for.loop's jacket credit not getting updated after clearing the ENCORE chart
- Fixed a visual issue with gates in Soundscan
- Fixed a visual issue with the Memory Bank in Chapter 6
- Prevented characters other than Saturday from being saved into the Memory Bank in Chapter 6
- Made entry animation for Soundscan maps faster
- Fixed Soundscan Arcade Mode crashing the game
- Fixed top layer objects in Betweenspace hub being ordered wrong
- Fixed Novena and the NEODITRONIX collaboration songs not having collaboration info on song select
- Fixed bugs relating to Tamasatchi save data
- Fixed song select leaderboards crashing the game
- Fixed crashing in acta est fabula, plaudite's SHATTER chart
- Fixed certain mods in STARGAZERS and STARCRASHERS being framerate-dependent
- Updated options menu to share menu information with song confirmation screen
- Fixed default controls in Keyboard Bindings menu being different from default controls on game installation
- Fixed multiple bugs with the Keyboard Bindings menu
- Fixed note rotation gimmicks affecting location of judgement particles
- Fixed hold note hit indicators appearing above effects in Last Wish (vivid/stasis ver.)
- Optimized particle spawning in acta est fabula, plaudite
- Optimized particle spawning in every other song, also
- Fixed a typo in the rating class "Fluorite" from 19.000 to 19.999
- Fixed some effect states in gameplay remaining after finishing some charts
- Fixed some effects from stop-motion affecting songs played after it
- Fixed a bug that would cause Blood Trial to not unlock for some players
- Fixed a visual issue with the Earnings window on the results screen
- Fixed leaderboards not showing as many entries if leaderboard has banned accounts
- Fixed jackets larger than 100x100 scaling incorrectly in song select, Soundscan, Arcade Mode, and rating images
- Reprogrammed chart audio to prevent more desyncs
- Fixed memory leaks after finishing a chart
- Fixed middle bumper mines in evil pimp dracula fire beat not spawning correctly
- Fixed bumper mines not spawning correctly
