vivid/stasis 2.2.1 Patch Notes

Greetings to all vivid/stasis players! This is the changelog for the 2.2.1 update.

New song added to the Song Shop!
"The Next Arcady" by Sephid

- A new Scroll Speed preview has been added to the song confirmation menu on the song select
- Text input fields in story challenges now convert all entered characters into uppercase
- Alphabetical sorting on the song select menu now no longer differentiates between lowercase and uppercase letters
- Did some minor modifications to the Node Flowchart's background visuals
- Fixed node flowchart camera snapping for lower nodes on the Chapter 2 flowchart
- Fixed a bug where Course Mode-related achievements would pop up while Autoplay is on
- Fixed a lot of bugs related to quitting out of story challenges and their unlocks
- Fixed a bug where Episode 6.2 wouldn't be unlocked automatically on the flowchart after clearing the Chapter 1 Duskbreaker Challenge
- Fixed some cutscene graphics being unusually stretched
- Smoothened transitions in and out of unlock notifications during boss unlocks
- Fixed FC lamps obtained after AC lamps overwriting previous AC lamps
- Fixed a bug where song select objects would vanish after finishing a song
- Fixed a bug where transitions into different scenes could be triggered multiple times by spamming the confirm key
- Fixed a bug where exiting the shop more than once would have side effects
- Fixed a bug where disconnecting the computer's audio device when starting a song would cause the game to instantly transition to the results screen
- Fixed a bug where right clicking the window title would cause the game to instantly transition to the results screen
- Fixed a visual error that would be caused when swapping difficulties during the song loading screen
- Fixed a bug where the song the song would end earlier than the game anticipates if your offset is too far from 0
- Implemented various checks to prevent scores from being cheesed with the song ending early
- Implemented a check for songs that have their audio data start early enough that notes would appear on screen with very little reaction time
- Fixed various bug instances of audio persisting between menus
- Fixed a visual error with previously loaded video frames that would be caused when loading new video data
- Fixed a bug where pressing cancel while the pause menu is open would cause the game to advance by one frame before immediately pausing again
- Mod tweens now stop immediately upon challenge gauge failure instead of finishing the active tween
- Fixed a bug that would cause video data to be stuck in the cache when leaving Chapter 2's Worldkeeper challenge early (either by failing out or leaving through the pause menu)
- Fixed a bug that caused the Chapter 2 complete indicator in the profile screen to not display after finishing Episode 15
- Fixed a bug that would cause failing out of the Chapter 2 Duskbreaker challenge to send you to the Chapter 1 Duskbreaker challenge unlock screen
- Fixed a bug where story challenges would not unlock their respective songs if the episode wasn't viewed in full
- Fixed a bug where post-boss cutscenes would play sometimes after playing other songs
- Fixed a bug where spam-pressing CTRL during an unlock animation would load the boss song multiple times

vivid/stasis 2.2.0 Patch Notes

Greetings to all vivid/stasis players! This is the changelog for version 2.2.0, the "Turning" update.

- Chapter 2 in its entirety is now implemented in the game.
- Class 9 has been added to Course Mode. Unlock it after finishing Chapter 2!
- Slightly tweaked the visual display for Combo and Judgement texts.
- The Node Flowchart now has background music.
- Fixed a bug where entering Course Select after entering Boundary Shatter would crash the game.
- Rerated a lot of charts.
- Fixed a bug where achievements would pop up while using Autoplay.
- Max combo record no longer saves while using Autoplay.
- Fixed a bug where switching resolutions would sometimes crash the game.
- Fixed a memory leak in the profile screen.
- SPIKE statistic added to Tech Stats, replacing FILL.
- Updated the user manual to reflect the SPIKE stat.
- Everything is about to change.

vivid/stasis 2.1.1 Patch Notes

Greetings to all vivid/stasis players! This is the patch log for version 2.1.1.

- Two new songs have been added! "Yamai" by Halv and "Asymmetry (takehirotei remix)" by SiLiS & takehirotei.
- An ENCORE difficulty chart has been added for PROPER RHYTHM! Designed by CHI XU, the publishing consultant for vivid/stasis and producer of UNBEATABLE (the game where PROPER RHYTHM originates).
- Fixed a bug where pressing SHIFT+ENTER in gameplay before the song loaded in would crash the game
- Fixed a bug with the chart reader that would cause it to crash on certain computers whenever trying to play a chart
- Fixed a duplicate note in Crosshatch's OPENING chart
- Fixed a chart mismatch on obair-ghreis' OPENING and MIDDLE difficulties

Greetings to all vivid/stasis players! This is the changelog for the 2.1.0.5 update.

- Fixed a crash that would occur upon playing any song if you didn't set a title first.
- Minor bug fixes.

vivid/stasis 2.1.0.4 Patch Notes

Greetings to all vivid/stasis players.

A new song, "Courage" by Akira Complex has been added to the Song Select under the Chapter 2 folder as both a preview for the chapter as well as a tribute to the late Akira Complex.

Bug fixes / QOL:
- Changed the cursor sound effect when moving through menus.
- Fixed a bug with mods in 00.
- Display for both types of currency is now shown on Song Select.
- Improved framerate stability for charts with a lot of notes.
- Slightly modified opening cutscene.
- Opening title roll changed.
- Fixed a bug with the Node Flowchart.
- Added support for resolutions higher than 1080p in the Settings menu.
