Patch #5 - Christmas and Priest Update


[h3]Hello Alchemists!
We proudly present the third step of our Road Map - the fifth and so far the biggest Alchemist: The Potion Monger patch - The Christmas and Priest Update.[/h3]
It brings loads of new content and is the first patch to include a new Character, Quest, Potions, and Animal!

[h3]New face on the Island - Peter, The Towns Priest![/h3]

Ever wondered why the Towns got a church but did not have a priest? You'll find answers in this update.
Let us welcome Peter, the rumored brother of Pablo the Mayor back from the pilgrimage to the Golden Trough. He'll appear once you reach reputation level 4!

[h3]New quest![/h3]

Help Peter appease the Golden Hog using a brand new potion (and a bunch of old ones) and gain a new skill, as well as a new potion recipe!

[h3]Baaaaaaaa![/h3]

Ever wanted to be an alchemical shepherd? You did not? erm... Now you can! Buy your own sheep (or acquire them in some other way...) and start shaving them for the new alchemical ingredient - Wool!

[h3]New Potions![/h3]

Learn the recipes for 3 new potions. We're not going to spoil anything for you here find them out by yourself. ask Peter about them

[h3]CHRISTMAS IS HERE![/h3]

It's finally that time of the year! Feel the Xmas spirit walking around the decorated Town market and find snowmen in the Winterlands. Don't forget to purchase a Christmas Tree from Peter, for the Santa Pig to lay gifts under! Check it every day till the 5th of January.

  • Fixed audio effects of some potions duplicating themselves
  • Corner Shelf placing fixed
  • Fixed some quests to block themselves when the player performs certain actions too early
  • Thunder sound added to the Lightning Potion
  • Fixed grass disappearing in the Hunter region
  • Fixed indefinitely cow milking bug
  • Fixed "Snake Nuggets" achievement not registering properly for some players

Quick Fix #1 - Search Tabs

Hello alchemists!
Just a quick fix blocking the use of keys J (leaving the Almanac) and Q (item drop) when typing in the Almanac search tab.

Patch #4 - Almanac Update


[h3]Hello Alchemists!
We present the second step of our Road Map - the fourth Alchemist: The Potion Monger patch - The Storage Update, this time on Tuesday.[/h3]
It will greatly refine the quality of your alchemical life by improving the interface, map, and Almanac.
Here is what's new!

[h3]HIGHLIGHTS[/h3]
[h3]Almanac Organization![/h3]

Now you can reach your favorite things in your Book way easier. Potion recipes and Automatic Potions are now sorted by name, it is also possible to find them in the new dedicated search field!
It's now also way easier to click on the pins, their colliders now take half of the bar.
You can find symbols in the top right corner of the page indicating the bookmark you are on.

[h3]Map Upgrade![/h3]

After you find the Ingredient, its location will appear on the map (not including the plants appearing all around the Island), helping you find the things you need that you previously encountered.
You can also find out your character rotation regarding the map, thanks to the new player's marker.

[h3]Ingredients Interface![/h3]

Alchemical Ingredients now have a better 3D interface showing their Aspects (similar to that of discovering them).

[h3]OTHERS[/h3]
  • The spoon in the cauldron should no longer get in the way of the bubbles that often (it will be always on your right side)
  • Better settings window
  • Almanac is now easier to navigate on the gamepad
  • Solid state of matter no longer has a stone symbol (was a bit misleading)
  • New Town fountain look
  • Chest stack moving bug fixed
  • Fixed effects of some potions not appearing (Holly Nuke, Unholy Nuke, and more...)
  • Prettier trees trunks
  • Better-looking Towns buildings
  • Ingredients in the Almanac now show their descriptions properly
  • Fixed the bug in the MY HEARTIES quest
  • HERB COMPENDIUM - ... loading bug fixed
  • Screen resolutions are no longer doubled (for some even tripled) in the settings
  • X and OK symbols are now in appropriate colors
  • Fixed infinite Diamonds in the bandit's chest
  • New effect when creating the automatic potions
  • Furniture now can be dropped
  • Contracts now display the time left

Patch #3 - Storage Update


[h3]Hello Alchemists!
We present the first step of our Road Map - the third Alchemist: The Potion Monger patch - The Storage Update.[/h3]
It will greatly improve your home/lab experience as well as include requested fixes and additions.
Take a look!

[h3]HIGHLIGHTS[/h3]
[h3]Chests are now available for purchase![/h3]

You can now visit the Furniture Seller to buy 3 Chests (4 Chests total!) for your storage needs. They are not cheap but they will greatly improve your hoarding capabilities!

[h3]More freedom in placing the furniture![/h3]

Place your furnishing however you like, from now on, even outside your house. Some items previously limited to table placement can be now placed on the ground, and vice versa.

[h3]Reposition your shelves with items on![/h3]

We know how frustrating moving the shelves was, and that's why we implemented the function to reposition them with your items!


[h3]OTHERS[/h3]
  • Cows now spawn flies
  • Cloud Save is now fully functional
  • Road Map can now be accessed from the game's Main Menu
  • The Cave in the Farmlands is now a little easier to get through
  • Contract value and reputation gain should now appear properly in the Almanac in every language
  • The Cure quest bugs fixed
  • Red-eyed spawns fixed
  • Women now dance when affected by the Danse Macabre Potion
  • Chest in the Bandits Camp now has better, more shiny loot
  • Optimized picking up great numbers of items from the shelves
  • New context menu for picking items from shelves
  • No more pink effects on the Stove
  • You can now purchase potion recipes and skills with the full inventory
  • Foxes no more wag their tails when dead
  • Picked-up recipes and skill books no longer respawn after some time
  • Skeletons now play proper sound effects when hit and when dying
  • Furniture can now be placed in the corners behind doors
  • Picking from shelves on the gamepad no longer causes one to pick up the whole shelf
