1.2 Update - Core Aspect
Greetings, Gatekeepers!
[p]Version 1.2 is now available for download.[/p][p]This update introduces the long-awaited Aspect system, a new mission type, a new altar, a fully reworked artifact ban system, and a long list of improvements and fixes.[/p][hr][/hr][h2]Aspects[/h2][p]The game now features a difficulty modifier system called Aspects.[/p][p]Aspects are divided into positive (Aspects of Arcanum) and negative (Aspects of Chaos).All Aspects are locked by default and can be unlocked via Aspect Altars found randomly during runs.[/p][p]There are 20 Aspects in total.[/p][h3]Aspects of Chaos:[/h3]
- [p]Aspect of Swarm - More enemies.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Haste - Enemies move faster.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Cataclysm - Location events appear on every planet.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Bargain - No prisms gained from enemy kills.
Other sources yield significantly more prisms.[/p] - [p]Aspect of Hazard - Environmental and trap damage increased.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Change - After each planet, all artifacts in your inventory are replaced with random ones.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Nobility - All Sirens are elite.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Golden Shield - Enemies gain the “Immune” effect after each landed hit on the Gatekeeper.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Pressure - After spending 6 minutes on a location, Souls begin attacking the Gatekeepers.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Choice - Obelisks offer only one artifact to choose from.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Isolation - Co-op only: the Gatekeeper takes periodic damage when far from allies.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Blame - Co-op only: when an ally dies, all living Gatekeepers lose 50% of their current health.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Phoenix - Second life (once per run).[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Shell - The Gatekeeper cannot lose more than 50% of health from a single hit.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Feast - Healing orbs periodically spawn near you.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Pace - You move faster. Task completion time is reduced.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Bounty - Two Obelisks of Catharsis appear after defeating a Siren.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Deal - Two free rerolls at any Obelisk or Forge.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Concord - Co-op only: cooldowns are reduced when near allies.[/p]
- [p]Aspect of Accord - Co-op only: collide with an ally to transfer part of the healthier Gatekeeper’s health to the wounded one.[/p]
Negative Aspects increase Omni gain, while positive ones reduce it.[/p][hr][/hr][h2]Broken Core[/h2][p]A new mission type.[/p][p]
Debuffs can reduce regeneration, movement speed, attack speed, and more.[/p][hr][/hr][h2]Altar of Interception[/h2][p]A new altar type that can appear during a run.[/p][p]Activating it summons a neutral mob - Fugitive.
He runs from the altar toward his Hideout somewhere on the map.[/p][p]For every 10% of Fugitive’s lost health, Gatekeepers receive prisms.
Upon death, Fugitive drops a random artifact from the Modifier category.[/p][p]Sounds simple. It isn’t.[/p][hr][/hr][h2]Artifact Ban Rework[/h2][p]The artifact ban system has been completely redesigned.[/p][p]
Now there are up to 40 ban slots, divided across artifact categories:[/p]
- [p]Up to 15 Modifiers[/p]
- [p]Up to 10 Structure Changes[/p]
- [p]Up to 5 Amulets[/p]
- [p]Up to 5 Runes of Creation[/p]
- [p]Up to 5 Cursed Signatures[/p]
Experiment with your builds as much as you like.[/p][hr][/hr][h2]Other Changes[/h2]
- [p]The Players tab in the pause menu is now available in solo. It shows extended run info and active Aspects.[/p]
- [p]Added a Create All button in the Forge to craft the maximum available number of artifacts.[/p]
- [p]Basic enemies now die after falling off a location.[/p]
- [p]Adjusted prism regression formula at the Merchant’s Altar. Consecutive Omni-to-prisms exchanges now grant slightly more prisms than before.[/p]
- [p]While spectating after death, you can now see teammates’ current skill cooldowns and inventory.[/p]
- [p]Server browser now displays ping.[/p]
- [p]Added a small bridge on Altar of the Awakened leading to the Catalyst artifact island.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue where Gatekeeper animations could get stuck under certain conditions, preventing skill usage.[/p]
- [p]Fixed incorrect display of players who left the run in final statistics.[/p]
- [p]Fixed tombstones of fallen teammates not always appearing on the minimap.[/p]
- [p]Fixed Spectra Aegis not self-destructing under specific conditions.[/p]
- [p]Fixed Forge artifact becoming identical across stages after loading a save.[/p]
- [p]Fixed Immortal getting stuck in spawn animation.[/p]
- [p]Fixed rare cases where menu buttons stopped working after returning to the main menu.[/p]
