2.0 OUT NOW! + New Publisher

[p]Seafrog 2.0 now available! (Now published by Grumpyface!)[/p][p][/p][p]We’re excited to announce that Grumpyface Studios (creators of Steven Universe: The Light Series, Teeny Titans, and Castle Doombad) has joined us as the new publisher for Seafrog! They’ve been incredibly supportive, consulting and collaborating with us throughout development, and they believe in the game as much as we do. With their help, we’re able to bring Seafrog to a wider audience and take the game to new heights.

And a big part of our new announcement is also: Seafrog 2.0 – the culmination of months of work, improvements, and polish, and the best the game has ever been!

  • [p]Game-wide balance and level design tuning for a smoother, more enjoyable experience

  • [p]New story beats and dialogue moments

  • [p]New Accessibility features, including No Fail Mode, letting players take no damage and enjoy skating and tricking around without fear of dying

  • [p]Rebalanced Health: hearts are now divided, allowing players to take more damage before dying
    [/p]
  • [p]Streamlined Death: players now respawn at their last activated teleporter instead of back at the main ship hub
    [/p]
  • [p]Reworked abilities: abilities that previously required equipped Mod Chips to be active (such as Mag Wall, Mag Plate, and Mag Bumper) are now permanently unlocked once discovered

  • [p]The Rocket Wrench ability no longer resets off enemy kills or Mag Bumpers
    [/p]
  • [p]Windowed Mode added to the Settings screen

  • [p]TONS of level and balance changes![/p]
  • [p]Streamlined Death: Players will now re-spawn at their last activated teleporter instead of the Hammerhead Med Bay on death.[/p]
  • [p]Rebalanced Health: you now have half hearts, allowing the player to take more damage before dying.[/p]
  • [p]Redesigned Mod Chips: Mag Wall, Mag Plate and Mag Bumper abilities are no longer effects gained through Mod Chips and are now standalone abilities that are permanently unlocked once discovered![/p]
  • [p]Updated Mod Chip Screen: negative Bonuses are now called Glitches and are now appropriately color coded.[/p]
  • [p]Major Modchip rebalancing.[/p]

Big Optimization Patch

[p]Hello![/p][p][/p][p]This patch we're bringing some much needed performance improvements and minor fixes:[/p][p]Balance[/p]
  • [p]Med Bay Bot now full heals Seafrog by default. Lil Buddy Chip has been reworked to account of this[/p]
  • [p]Overhauled Sea Dragon F-1 room[/p]
[p]Misc[/p]
  • [p]Lots of Optimizations: improved performance across the board, lower end machines should fair a bit better in terms of fps[/p]
  • [p]Some small bug fixes for projectiles and enemies.[/p]
  • [p]Improved visual clarity to with the mod chip screen bonus system. [/p]
