Greetings from the Warhaven team!
Today we would like to introduce to you the PRE-SEASON 2 update content that will go live on 12/13 (Wed) at 8:00 PM PST.

[h2]▣ Events[/h2]
- 5 events will be taking place. Please check [Events] on the homepage for update details.

New/Returning Check-In Event

New and Returning players can check in every day to earn rewards.

Winter Lights Festival Event

Complete event quests to accumulate event points and earn additional rewards.

Winter Lights Drops

Watch Warhaven streams with Twitch drops enabled to earn Haven Coins, which can be used to buy various items from the in-game shop.

Check-In Play Event

Earn rewards from the event page by playing Warhaven for at least 60 minutes.

Log-in Event

Simply log in to earn the [Claw Outfit] Wetlands Hunter item.


[h2]▣ Quests[/h2]
- The requirement to unlock Bard has been reduced from 35 wins to 5.
- Daily Quest rewards have been changed.

- Weekly Quests will now change with each season.
: Week 1's Weekly Quests unlock when the season begins.
: Weekly Quests for each week are unlocked every Thursday onwards.
: Players can progress quests from the previous weeks.
: Bonus quests can only be completed within the current week.
: Weekly Quest slot expansions from World Pass Federation ranks have been replaced with Daily Quests.

- Weekly Quest completion rewards have been changed.

- The expiration period for unclaimed Daily/Weekly Quest rewards has been changed from 30 days to 7 days.

[h2]▣ World Pass[/h2]
- A new World Pass season has begun.
: The previous season's records will be reset.
- The progress route for each Federation will be reset.
- Instances of earning 0 kills during an Exploration or Patrol will be reduced.
: Even if multiple attempts are made based on Combat Power chances, the side that has the most wins will be victorious.
- Allied average Combat Power information has been added when participating in an Exploration or Conquest.
- The top 3 players during an Exploration will be displayed.
- Exploration and Conquest Rankings will now be based on number of kills instead of contribution.
- Explorations end when 50% or more of the enemies remain undefeated within a 24 hour window.
- World Pass EXP acquisition has been adjusted.

[h2]▣ Boot Camp[/h2]
- Basic Training
: Training lessons teaching players to utilize features such as the attack advantage after blocking, Superior Blocks, attack canceling, and defending against cannon fire have been added or improved.
: Players can replay Basic Training.

- Advanced Training
: The Help button visible during training has been moved to the top left of the screen.
: The cooldown reduction button can be turned on and off without having to tap it multiple times.
: A control key guide has been added to the Boot Camp description.

- Relic descriptions that were viewable through the profile menu are now viewable from the Basic Training menu.
- The Advanced Training lessons for each character can be accessed from the Barracks.

- The following has been added to Bard's Roll & Roll training:
: Combo Melody of Resilience during Roll & Roll.

[h2]▣ Item Storage[/h2]
- Item storage has been added.
: View your stored items from Storage > Item Storage.
: View the number of tickets and boosters you own, and your bound emblems in Item Storage.
: Bound emblems can be used directly from Item Storage.

- Your Exemption Tickets can be viewed on the right side of the screen from PLAY > Game Type.

- Consumable Items
: The way consumable outfit items are deducted has been adjusted.

: Only 1 use will be deducted, even if the character is used multiple times.
: Consumable items will display their remaining uses and descriptions as a tooltip.
: If you own a permanent version of a consumable item, you cannot obtain more copies of the consumable version.

- The names of certain items have been changed.
: The profile card background previously named 'Dragon Hangar' has been changed to 'From Beneath the Hangar.'
: The profile card frame previously named 'Dragon Hangar' has been changed to 'Wyvern Master.'

[h2]▣ Emblems[/h2]
[h3]■ General[/h3]
- Instances of emblems looking warped when placed between the front and side of a character have been alleviated.
- Resetting an emblem places it in the center of a character's chest.

[h3]■ Bound Emblems[/h3]
- Bound emblems can be used on outfits of all ranks.
: They cannot be bound to consumable outfits and outfits locked behind quests.

- Bound emblems can be obtained as Ranked Battle rank rewards.
- Emblems are consumed upon being bound, and cannot be bound to other outfits or be unbound.
- Your bound emblems can be viewed through either [Barracks > Outfits >Emblems (V)] or [Storage > Item Storage].

[h3]■ Unique Emblems[/h3]
- Unique Emblems can only be purchased and equipped once you own certain Legendary outfits.

- The method of purchasing unique emblems linked to Legendary outfits has been improved.
: When purchasing 2 unique emblems separately, they will convert into a set purchase, and the purchase price will be granted the set discount.
: (Example) Price of All Unique Emblems: 400 WP
: (Example) Price of 1 Unique Emblem: 200 WP
> On the second purchase, all remaining emblems can be purchased for 200 WP each. (400 WP Total Cost)

- A purchase confirmation window will display upon purchasing a unique emblem.

[h2]▣ Player List[/h2]
- The 'Team Communication Settings' menu has been renamed to the 'Player List', and can be accessed by opening the ESC menu during a match.
- The Player List contains a list of the players that are participating in the current match.

- Select a player name from the Player List to do the following:
: Ally
> Block Chat or Voice Chat
> Report Player
: Enemy
> Report Player

- After the match is over, you can see the Player List from the scoreboard.

[h2]▣ Custom Games[/h2]
- The spectator system has been improved.
: Up to 4 people can enter as spectators.
: Spectators can turn the UI on or off.
: Spectators can save a camera position while in free camera mode with the 'Shift + Shortcut' command, and then move the camera's position to the saved location immediately. (Camera positions are only saved for the duration of the match.)
: Set the camera sensitivity for spectating from 'Game Settings - Controls.'
: A UI to let spectators know when the battle is ready has also been added.
: The map no longer closes when the character being spectated dies.
: Spectators will always see the winning team's Play of the Game spotlight, rather than just the Alliance team's.
: Spectators will not see the spotlight sticker entry UI.

- Teams cannot be changed when the match is in progress.
- The command for leaving custom games has been changed to ESC.

- Winter and Soulsdance weather options have been added to custom games.
: Winter weather can be selected for all battlefields.
: Soulsdance weather can only be selected for Team Deathmatch battlefields.

[h2]▣ General[/h2]
[h3]■ General[/h3]
- The F1 play guide has been updated.
- Reinforcement status now displays on the 6 vs. 6 scoreboard.
- Players can now aim at their allies and send them a message to pull back using markers.
- Your background color will be marked red in the kill log upon death.
- The lobby background has been changed to the winter background.

- Winter weather will appear on the battlefields.

- The chat window area will no longer be clickable when the chat window is hidden.
- Players can now hear certain character voice lines during a spotlight.

- The following causes of death will be displayed:
: Instant death due to fall damage.

- The warning pop-up that previously displayed at the start of each match before the desertion penalty was applied has been replaced with a message on the top left.

- The current locations of party members and players on your friends list will be displayed in the following ways:
: Displays Current Location
> Players in a Party with You
> Players Not in a Party
: Displays as In a Party
> Players in a Party with Another Player

- When selecting an unequipped character pose while editing a profile card, the pose's position, rotation, and zoom settings will be set to default.
- When inviting a friend from the Recent Players list, invitations will be made immediately without additional confirmation.
- The currently selected player will be shown when checking the player list with a gamepad.
- Players can now leave a party with the gamepad.

- Abbreviations for large numbers have been changed.
: Abbreviations will now be made with 3 characters instead of 4.
: When abbreviating a number, up to the first decimal number will be displayed.
: The abbreviation for numbers in the billions has changed from G to B.

[h3]■ Game Settings[/h3]
- A setting been added to allow Smoke's 'Healing Smoke' and Bard's 'Melody of Resilience' skills to be used with a single button.
: It can be changed from [Game Settings - Controls - Input Method].

- Right Shift has been added to the key board controls.
- Combo button control descriptions have been added when changing the game pad controls.

- The following categories have been moved from game settings to the accessibility settings.
: Color blindness, motion sickness, weapon trail display, and camera height.

- With the reorganization of the accessibility settings, all of the convenience categories under the gameplay settings have been moved to the player interface.
- The 'Display Ally Outlines in 6 vs. 6 Matches' setting will now be on by default.

- 'System Default' has been added to the sound output device which can be set from the game settings.
: When the 'System Default' is selected, any change to the user's sound output device will be reflected in the game.

[h3]■ Character Skills[/h3]
- Descriptions for some character skills (F1) have been edited.
Raven: Basic attacks deal more damage to closer enemies.
Smoke: Become unstoppable while teleporting to a Smoke Clone's location and take less damage.
Bard: 'Swing & Swing' can be comboed by making the right input at the right time during a combo attack.

[h3]■ Voice Chat[/h3]
- Party Voice Chat
: A message saying you joined the party voice chat will now display upon joining a party.
: A player's mute status will be displayed in the bottom right of the screen when the party is waiting in the lobby.

[h3]■ Shop[/h3]
- The 3 types of weapon packages that were added to the shop on 9/26 (Tue) 5:00 PM PDT are now permanently available. If and when they are removed from the shop again in the future, a separate notification will be released.

[h2]▣ Bug Fixes[/h2]
[h3]■ Characters[/h3]
1) General
- Fixed the issue of the guard break feedback displaying when guard breaks were impossible due to the player being unstoppable.
- Fixed the issue of Superior Blocks not activating after attacking while blocking.
- Fixed the issue where a player would be unable to dash when blocking after making a sprint attack, but the dash skill would still go on cooldown.

2) Blade
- Fixed the issue of jumping when making an Ox Slash attack on an enemy using mountable equipment.

3) Smoke
- When teleporting with 'Smoke Clone,' teleportation will now be disabled when characters overlap.
- Fixed the issue of not being able to dash when comboing a dash after a Thrust or Smoke Blast.
- Fixed the issue of randomly being unable to make inputs other than movement when healing allies in the air after jumping.
- Fixed the issue of fall damage occurring when moving from a high position to a lower position using 'Smoke Clone'.

4) Spike
- Fixed the issue of being able to air dash while charging Impale.

5) Guardian
- Fixed the issue of the next attack randomly starting faster upon failing to break a guard with Breaking Charge.

6) Bard
- Fixed the issue of sprint attacks going through some structures that can take siege damage.

[h3]■ Game Modes[/h3]
- Fixed the issue of Overtime gauge freezing momentarily when the losing an Onslaught match.
- Fixed the issue of Divine Stone acquisition score being higher than intended in Reclamation.
- Fixed the issue of the War Machine not moving during Arms Race.

[h3]■ Feats[/h3]
- Fixed the issue of displaying in certain Feat Cards.
- Fixed the issue of Resurrections made as an Immortal displaying as having been made as a regular soldier.

[h3]■ Boot Camp[/h3]
- Fixed the issue of 'Wind Lance' displaying as if it was not charged at the start of Darkgale's Advanced Training.

[h3]■ General[/h3]
- Fixed the issue of next matchmaking randomly not progressing during the Play of the Game spotlight at the end of the match.
- Fixed the issue of the camera randomly tilting while waiting to respawn.
- Character will now face straight ahead after being revived following a hit that turned the camera.
- Fixed the issue of characters not displaying on the scoreboard while entering the battlefield.
- Fixed the issue of the incorrect revival time displaying when mashing the space bar after dying in during pre-match Warm-Up.
- Fixed the issue of the incorrect anticipated matchmaking time displaying when exiting to the lobby during pre-match Warm-Up.
- Fixed the issue of the Overtime gauge and effect location looking incorrect when the selected language is English.
- Fixed the issue of characters being unable to rotate in the photo room after resetting with the gamepad's Y button.
- The PS5 DualSense gamepad will now be recognized.
- Custom Game Tickets that were deleted after expiring have been reissued, and can be claimed from the mailbox.
: Some players with preexisting login records may receive additional tickets in order to guarantee that no game tickets have been lost.
