Automation Update!

[p]Hi adventurers,[/p][p]
I'll start this new update with a big thanks to all of you, I've been getting a lot of positive feedback lately and you can't imagine how motivating it is. I'm really happy to know that the work I'm putting in the game is being noticed and that you like it. And actually with this update, it's been almost one year since the early access release, and it has been quite busy for me. I've been able to produce 8 major updates (and countless patches), and I'm really proud of the current state of the game. I tend to believe that someone who tried the game at launch and try it again today will be pleasantly surprised by all the changes.[/p][p]So now, here's some details on this one year anniversary update:[/p]
  • [p]First of all, I've been very lucky to work with a very talented composer to produce a whole new original soundtrack for the game. I'm so happy with the result as it brings so much to the game, and I really hope you'll enjoy it too.[/p]
  • [p]I added some colony automation features, you can now build specific golems to perform tasks like hauling, cutting plants, mining, etc... After adding trading expeditions and dungeon expeditions, it now allows you to keep the colony active while your heroes have other duties.[/p]
  • [p]To allow golems to work, I added a new magic energy system, requiring you to build a whole network to power all your colony. And I added some new furniture using this magic energy.[/p]
  • [p]And finally I continued to improve the game performances, and it allowed me to add a new very large map size (doubling the size of a large map). And I added teleportation portals (also using magic energy to work) to be able to facilitate navigation in big maps.

  • [p]Added a new magic field layer produced by specific generators.[/p]
  • [p]Added magic fields relays to propagate magic fields to greater distances.[/p]
  • [p]Added teleportation portals only activated if inside a magic field.[/p]
  • [p]Added new music, and improved the music system to avoid repetitions and provide times without any music.[/p]
  • [p]Added golems limited to perform specific jobs and only able to walk within magic fields.[/p]
  • [p]Added very large maps and improved map generation time.[/p]
  • [p]Added light and heat sources powered by magic fields.[/p]
  • [p]Various performance optimizations.[/p]
