Winter Arrives in Spirit City! ❄️☃️

[p]Hello Spiritographers! Today we have released a new update for Spirit City: Lofi Sessions bringing a whole bunch of new goodies to the game, here are the headlines, read below for the full changelist.[/p][p][/p][h3]New Winter-themed Spirit[/h3][p]A new Spirit is now discoverable, we can’t wait for you to meet your new friend. It has a Steam achievement too![/p][p][/p][h3]Playing by the Fireplace[/h3][p]Your avatar can now sit and spend time playing with their Spirit pal by the fireplace.
Each Spirit has a unique animation and reacts differently while playing. We hope you enjoy spending time in this new activity.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]Avatar Customization Update[/h3][p]We've added a few new updates for avatar customization.[/p][p][/p][p]Ears + New Head Shapes[/p][p]Ears can now be selected independently from your avatar’s head shape, allowing much better mixing and matching. We also added a few new head shapes.
In future updates we hope to add even more customization features for faces.

New Category: Outfits[/p][p]We've added a new category to the wardrobe - Outfits. These items override the Top + Bottom categories, allowing us to add new dress options! Look forward to other outfit options added in the future.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]UI Update[/h3][p]As mentioned in our prior announcement, we’ve recently rebuilt our interface from the ground up. While it might look a bit different, this update sets the foundation for some much-requested features, including UI color customization and text-size scaling, coming in this update. We would love to add more UI accessibility options later too.

As part of this overhaul, we've also prepared the UI for controller support arriving in 2026. This means some buttons have been moved or reworked to make sure everything feels smooth and consistent across different input methods, and across potential future platforms

It’s a rebuild that ensures we can keep building and improving the experience for everyone. As always we're going to be listening to your feedback, so let us know what you think! Match it with the cozy fireplace soundscape for perfect winter vibes.[/p][p][/p][h3]Russian localization[/h3][p]Russian players can now enjoy the game in their native language! Keep in mind that the best place to let us know about localization mistakes is in our Discord server, in the bug-report section!

[p]QUALITY OF LIFE[/p]

[p]Added an option to have the game automatically start at the last selected activity (disabled by default, can be enabled in the general settings)[/p]
[p]You can now use a different sound sets for the timer[/p]
[p]When the "prompt before continuing" option is enabled for the timer, the ring sound will continue on loop as long as the user doesn't press the timer again to continue. We're hoping this makes it way easier for players to not miss the ring anymore.[/p]
[p]Made most delete actions (in productivity tools) a "hold" action to prevent misclicks.[/p][p][/p]

[p]BUG FIXES[/p]

[p]Fixed an issue where switching from one avatar preset to another would sometimes means that the custom item colors would get transferred if they weren't set in the new preset.[/p]
[p]Fixed an issue with Inkster's book not showing in the Winter Skins (DLC).[/p]
[p]Using "refresh folders" for custom music now refreshes the songs in-game properly.[/p]
[p]The Habits view will now only highlight a day of the week for the current week.[/p]
[p]Fixed clipping issue with dreads hairstyle when matched with a hoodie and hats.[/p]
[p]Fixed an issue where having too many soundscapes activated at once made the songs skips.[/p]
