Hello Spiritographers!

We are excited to announce our latest community challenge!




Draw your avatar doing an activity in the kitchen with their favorite Spirits for a chance to win some prizes!
We want to see what all the creative folks in our community can do!

[h2]How to Enter[/h2]
There are two ways to enter:

Share your artwork on socials with the hashtag #SpiritCityDTIYS + tag us.
The socials we'll be monitoring are Instagram, X, Bluesky and Tiktok

Post in our dedicated Discord channel. ⁠
When posting on discord please include any relevant socials @s so we can credit you if we share your submissions.

You are welcome to post across all platforms for extra chances to win the “participation” prize. Please limit this to one artwork, as only one artwork per person will be eligible for judging.

[h2]Prizes[/h2]
Grand Prize: 1 winner will receive a Set of 5 Spirit City Mugs + Steam Key for Cozy Kitchen Expansion.

Runner-Up Prizes: 3 winners will receive 1 Spirit City Mug of their choice + Steam Key for Cozy Kitchen Expansion.

Participation Prize: 10 winners will be selected randomly—two from each platform (Discord, Instagram, X, Bluesky, and Tiktok). Winners will receive a Steam Key for the Cozy Kitchen Expansion.

- Fixed an issue with the newly added font where it was not always showing proper characters in Simplified Chinese, Japanese, or Korean languages.
- Fixed an issue with one of the newly added hairstyle clipping with headphones.

📢Hello Spiritographers!

We’re happy to share that our first update of the year is officially live! 🔴

We wanted to be sure to highlight the Lunar New Year with some content that we think everybody across the world will love. We're also looking at improving the general look and feel of the app by adding some polish to the interface that we hope you'll appreciate!

[h3]NEW CONTENT:[/h3]

• Added a few new room decor items to celebrate the Lunar New Year. You will find hanging lanterns, a snake plushie, some tasty steamed dumplings and a new wallpaper.
  
• Added a few new clothing items for Lunar New Year, including two new styles of tops, one style of pants and shoes, as well as new skirt colors.
  
• Added three new hairstyles
  

[h3]ADJUSTMENTS:[/h3]

• Updated the style for tooltips when elements are hovered in the game interface.
  
• Updated the style of the default font.
  
• New animations are available across the interface when opening and closing some menus.
  
• The Winter Wonderland playlist has been moved down in the list so that it's not the default playlist. Sorry folks, holidays are now officially over!
  

[h3]BUG FIXES:[/h3]

• Fixed an issue with the sushi wallpaper rendering incorrectly on the wall
  
• Fixed an issue where one of the sidetable accessory at the desk area wasn't always updating properly when switching room presets.

[h2]End of Year Survey[/h2]
We received over 12000 responses to our end of year survey! Thank you to everyone who took the time to fill it out, there is tons of valuable feedback to go through! This will help us plan our roadmap for 2025, and we hope to be able to share more details soon.

We can share the results of perhaps the most important question, which Spirit is your favorite?

We're hard at work on our first major DLC, the Cozy Kitchen Expansion Pack

Remember this: Our DLCs will never include new productivity feature or QOL updates, those would always be added as free updates. Instead, we want our DLCs to be adding to the existing fantasy of Spirit City with new locations, new spirits, and more to discover!

[h2]Mac Support[/h2]
We've heard all the requests for native Mac support! We have been working on getting the game running on Mac but have had a few delays. Things are looking good now though! We still aren't ready to announce a specific date, but it's coming!

As always, thank you for your incredible support—it truly means the world to us. We are looking forward to bringing more features, content, and QoL to Spirit City: Lofi Sessions in 2025!

As 2024 comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to look back at this year and share our heartfelt gratitude with our community.

When we began creating Spirit City: Lofi Sessions in 2022, we couldn’t have imagined the amazing reception it would receive. As of today we have sold an incredibly humbling 230,000 units. We truly can’t thank you enough. 💗

Reading all the reviews and feedback about how Spirit City has become a part of your lives brings me to tears sometimes. Almost daily I’ll read a heartfelt story about how Spirit City has helped someone out. Whether it’s from folks with ADHD using Spirit City to focus, or those with PTSD finding a safe space, every story makes my heart feel incredibly full. For the many times I’ve questioned if game development was the right path for me, this reinforces that it was the right choice.

We at Mooncube feel an incredible responsibility to continue supporting the game, but it can be quite intimidating. There are so many exciting possibilities for Spirit City in the coming year, we’ve already gotten some incredible feedback from our player survey and will be planning out our internal 2025 plans soon. We can only ask for your patience, and we hope we don’t disappoint.

• The challenge is open to all Spirit City: Lofi Sessions fans worldwide!
  
• We welcome entries from professionals, hobbyists, enthusiasts and first starters!
  
• Entries can be made using yarn, thread, fabric, or similar materials. They could be a scarf, a desk toy, coasters, anything you like! You can use any technique you like such as crochet, knitting, embroidery, etc.

[h2]How do I enter? [/h2]

• Step 1: Create a yarn craft inspired by Spirit City: Lofi Sessions.
  
• Step 2: Show us! Record a video, take a picture, tell a story, this is your chance to show off your creation uniquely.
  
• Step 3: Post your entry on our dedicated Discord channel for the challenge to participate. Additionally, feel free to share it on socials using the hashtag #SpiritStitch Challenge (this doesn’t impact your participation)
  

[h2]Prizes [/h2]

• For all participating entries, Spirit City Mugs + 25$ Steam Gift Cards will be awarded to 5 random participants who submit a qualifying entry, the winners will be able to choose their favorite mug from the available designs on our merch store. (Includes shipping fees)
  
• For the best entry, the grand prize is nothing less than a 300$ Steam Gift Card + our whole collection of Spirit City mugs (including shipping fees)! The best entry prize will be awarded to the best yarn craft submission. This will be judged based on creativity, skill, and how well the entry represents the Spirit City theme.
  

[h2]Judging Criteria for Best Entry[/h2]
The best entry will be evaluated by Mooncube Games, alongside our guest judge NocturnalMuse! As a long-time fiber artist and an official Spirit City mod, Muse will be able to evaluate all the intricacies and details in your creations. We will base our judgement on the following criteria:

• Creativity: How unique and imaginative is your creation?
  
• Craftsmanship: Is the entry well-made? Consider the attention to detail, stitching, and overall quality.
  
• Theme: How well does the entry represent the Spirit City theme?
  

[h2]Important Dates 📅 [/h2]

• Challenge starts on December 18th
  
• Deadline: January 14th. All entries must be submitted by this date!
  
• Winners Announcement: January 16th. The winners will be announced on our Discord and official social media channels, and contacted directly.
  

[h3]Additional Rules[/h3]

• By entering, participants agree that their submission may be shared on Mooncube Games' social media accounts and used for promotional purposes.
  
• Limit of one entry per person
  
• All creations need to be started after the challenge starts. Any submissions that have been started before the challenge will not be accepted.
