[h2]Dungeon Reorganization[/h2]
Several dungeons have been rehauled to help streamline growth for Milletians as Erinn continues to change through the years. See below for all the changes related to dungeons, including new items and NPCs:
[h3]Hardmode Adv. Uladh Dungeons (Alby, Ciar, and Rundal)[/h3]
- The entry system into the Hardmode Advanced Dungeons has been updated.
- Passes are no longer needed to enter any of the 3 dungeons.
- When standing on the altar, clicking the Goddess Statue will now prompt players to either deposit 1 Gold or to drop an item that can be offered for entry.
- With this change, the Hardmode Normal versions of Alby, Ciar, and Rundal dungeons have been removed.
- The Cumulative Level 250 requirement has been removed.
- The maximum number of party members has been adjusted for the following Uladh dungeons:
- Uladh Dungeons (multiple difficulties): Maximum 4 members, from 8.
- Uladh Veteran Difficulty: Maximum 4 members, from 8.
- Hardmode Adv. Uladh Dungeons (Alby, Ciar, Rundal): Maximum 8 members (no change)
- Rabbie Phantasm or Abyss Dungeons: Maximum 4 members (no change)
- The number of rooms for the Hardmode Advanced Dungeons has been reduced significantly.
- The expected average runtime for each dungeon after the update is now about 5 minutes.
- The Participation Reward Timer has been reduced from 30 seconds to 10 seconds.
- Reduced the health and attack power of the boss and enemies in the boss room for each of the 3 dungeons.
- Reduced the attack power of enemies.
- Reduced the amount of gold dropped by enemies.
- Upon reaching the end of the dungeon, players can now use a new item - Neartite to enhance their Treasure Chests for better rewards.
- Some items can only drop from a Neartite-enhanced Treasure Chest.
- In Alby Hardmode Adv., if a Yarn Key is used on a Treasure Chest, it cannot be enhanced with Neartite.
- Re:Fine reward system has been removed as each player can receive different rewards by consuming Neartite.
- Rewards for Hardmode Adv. Uladh Dungeons have been reworked.
- Basic reward: Celtic Weapons, Pieces of a Refined Armor set, Etc.
- Neartite-enhanced rewards: Shineseeker Orb, Broken Magic Essence, Refined Armor Tailoring pattern/Blacksmithing manual fragments, Enchant Scrolls, Etc.
- Some rewards that were previously a reward for defeating the Boss Monster will now appear in the reward chest.
- The weekly limit for entering Tech Duinn has been removed.
- Tech Duinn Mission Additional Entry Passes and Tech Duinn Elite Passes are no longer needed to reduce the entry counter.
- The requirement of completing Generations 22 and 23 has been removed.
- Normal and Hard Difficulties will be combined into one difficulty.
- The number of mechanics for all 4 missions has been reduced significantly.
- The expected average runtime for each mission after the update is now about 5 minutes.
- The Participation Reward Timer has been reduced from 120 seconds to 10 seconds.
- Feth Fiada Mission
- The number of enemy spawn orbs has been reduced to 2.
- The Mid-boss and Zombie Corridors have been removed.
- Revived Illusion Mission
- the number of mechanics/rooms needed to complete this mission has been reduced to 3.
- The difficulty of releasing the magic that is binding the hostages has been reduced.
- The mechanics/rooms are selected at random.
- Seven Nightmares
- The number of nightmares has been reduced to 2.
- The mission will randomly spawn any 2 of the seven nightmares.
- The number of enemy spawns has been lowered.
- Awakened Abyssal Lord
- The number of phases has been reduced to 1.
- The number of enemies that can spawn at once has been reduced.
- Reduced the health and attack power of the boss for all 4 missions.
- Reduced the attack power and amount of gold dropped by enemies.
- Upon reaching the end of the mission, players can now use a new item - Neartite to enhance their Treasure Chests for better rewards.
- Certain items can only drop from a Neartite-enhanced Treasure Chest.
- Re:Fine reward system has been removed as each player can receive different rewards by consuming Neartite.
- Rewards for Tech Duinn missions have been reworked.
- Basic Reward: Perseus Weapons, Pieces of the Geas Devastation Armor set, Demolition Weapons, etc.
- Neartite-enhanced rewards: Shineseeker Orb, Perseus Whispering Arrow, Perseus Weapon crafting materials, Enchant Scrolls, etc.
- The amount of gold received and dropped by enemies has been adjusted to accommodate for the difficulty change.
[h3]Avalon Purification[/h3]
- A weekly limit of 10 runs per character has been added.
- The limit will reset on Thursdays at 7:00 AM (Server Time).
- Weekly Rewards can be checked when speaking with NPC Innes in Avalon or through the Revamped Dungeon Guide.
- If any party member has reached their reward limit, the party will be unable to enter the mission.
- If any party member is currently unconscious, the party will be unable to enter the mission.
- The following rewards upon completing the mission have been added/or had their drop rates improved:

- Ancient Golden Crystal
- Massive Turtle Shell Chip
- Thorny Blue Shackle

[h3]Shadow Missions[/h3]
- In the shadow mission “Defeat the Shadow Wizard”, the amount of gold dropped by enemies has been reduced.
[h3]Apostle Raids[/h3]
- The gold reward for clearing the mission has been removed.
- The Crusader EXP awarded for clearing the mission has been increased.
[h3]Chronicle Missions[/h3]
- The number of Fir Bolg Infantry and Fir Bolg Archers that appear has been reduced.
- When selecting “The One in the Spotlight” (Non-Story Mode), the number of statues required to destroy has been reduced from 5 to 1 (selected at random from the original 5 statues).
- The last statue will appear as normal.
- The Fir Bolg Wizards’ movement speed has been reduced.
- The number of hits required to find a key on a statue has been reduced from 10 to 5.
- Special Force Captain and Sreng’s attack power, health, defense, protection, magic defense, magic protection, and damage abilities levels have been decreased.
[h3]Theatre Missions (Martial Arts Tournament)[/h3]
- The number of players allowed into the mission has been reduced from 6 to 4.
- Starting at Round 2, all players in the party must have the same round pass to enter the mission.
[h3]Fahmes Dungeon[/h3]
- Monthly Rewards and Cumulative Star Rank Rewards previously claimed through the Dungeon Guide can still be accessed and claimed through the same menu at the Fahmes Ruins.
[h3]Crom Bás[/h3]
- The entry method for Crom Bás has been updated to selecting 2 pre-set routes instead of powering up the Dark Erg inside.
- Basic (50% Dark Erg)
- Normal (100% Dark Erg)
- The Journal Achievement “Clear Crom Bás Irusan” has been removed.
- The remaining two Journal Achievements for Crom Bás have been updated to reflect the difficulty changes.
- The weekly reward limit has been adjusted to a weekly entry limit.
- 10 runs per account per difficulty level for a total of 20 runs.
- The limit will continue to reset on Thursdays at 7:00 AM (Server Time).
- Weekly Rewards can be checked when speaking with Brielle before entering the dungeon or through the Revamped Dungeon Guide.
- Additional Entry Passes for Normal Mode can be purchased through Brielle (for gold) or various specialty shops around Erinn.
- 10 runs per account per difficulty level for a total of 20 runs.

- Several mechanics related to the dungeon have been changed.
- Magic Circles have been updated:
- Only one circle will appear per room, guiding you up to 50/100% Erg:
- Red Circle = 20% Erg increase
- Yellow Circle = 10% Erg increase
- Green Circle = no Erg increase
- Only one circle will appear per room, guiding you up to 50/100% Erg:
- Enemy health and attack strength have been reduced for Basic Mode.
- Enemy health has been increased for Normal Mode (when compared to >50% Erg previously).
- Pursuer now starts at 40%.
- The number of required rooms has been shortened for both Basic and Normal.
- Corridors have been removed.
- The time it takes for gathering information at the campfire has been reduced from 60 seconds to 20 seconds.
- The amount of information points received has quadrupled.
- Magic Circles have been updated:
- Several changes have been made to the bosses themselves:
- Irusan will no longer use Ice Spear.
- Irusan’s Nightmare Mini-game now has a 3-second wind-up.
- Irusan will be invincible during this time.
- For Normal Mode, the number of hits required to break Irusan’s Nightmare Mini-game will increase based on the party size (number of players x 40).
- Irusan will not summon additional enemies during the Magic Cauldron on Normal Mode.
- The interaction time at Irusan’s Altar has been reduced from 10 seconds to 5 seconds.
- The time to stop "Complete Glas Ghaibhleann’s Ritual of Darkness" has been increased to 120 seconds (2 minutes).
- The appearance of Dark Shriekers has been reduced.
- The number of Dark Shriekers needed to stun Completed/Giga Glas Ghaibhleann has been reduced.

- The dungeon has been modified to allow solo entry for Basic difficulty.
- The Ace Merlin will assist on the opposite timeline when playing solo.

- With the implementation of the weapon grade rarity system, the added bonus damage attributes to an overall damage increase and monster health was adjusted upwards to maintain the original design.

[h3]Apocalypse Raid: Subject Theta[/h3]
- As previously mentioned in our earlier announcement, Apocalypse Raid: Subject Theta has been removed.
- Related Journal Achievements have been removed.
- Any previously earned titles, enchants, and Bag of Darkness will be kept.
- Players who have acquired the necessary amount of Subject Theta Fragments can still combine them to redeem the appropriate rewards.
[h2]Alby Shineseeker Dungeon[/h2]
A new path in Alby Dungeon has been discovered. This long-hidden path made by the Fomors is so deep that you could say it even connects to a version of Albey from another world…
- Alby Shineseeker Dungeon has been added and is available for characters with at least 1 Arcana at Level 50.
- This new dungeon can only be entered solo.
- This new dungeon holds powerful, but untradeable, rewards designed to help Milletians grow in power and strength.
- Entrance to this dungeon level is located at Alby Dungeon (not Albey Dungeon)

- Players will be required to offer Shineseeker Orbs for entry.
- Players can receive 3 orbs per day from the new NPC Soraia (located near Poulnabrone in Dunbarton).
- New Milletians will need to have at least one character with an Arcana Talent or have completed Blaanid’s Third Memoir before they can receive their daily Shineseeker Orbs.
- Additional Shineseeker Orbs can be purchased through Soraia.
- When having multiple Shineseeker Orbs, those with a shorter expiration timer and/or untradeable are consumed first.
- Players can receive 3 orbs per day from the new NPC Soraia (located near Poulnabrone in Dunbarton).
- 3 new Journal Achievements have been added:

- A brand new item called “Neartite” has been added to the game.
- Neartite crystals will allow a player to obtain more enticing rewards in the following dungeons.

- You will be given the option to use a Neartite crystal upon opening a Treasure Chest at the end of a dungeon when you have Neartite in your inventory.
- Each character is automatically provided with 10 Base Neartite each week.

- This limit is replenished on Thursdays at 7:00 AM (Server Time).
- Unused Base Neartite from the weekly allotment will be removed.
- New Milletians will need to have at least one character with an Arcana Talent or have completed Blaanid’s Third Memoir before they can receive their weekly Neartite.
- Usage of Base Neartite is limited to 10 per week per account.
- Additional Neartite can be purchased from the following shops and/or NPCs:

[h2]Revamped Dungeon Guide[/h2]
- The Dungeon Guide UI has been heavily revised, allowing for more in-depth information on most dungeons.
- You will be able to 'favorite' and warp to any dungeon listed in the guide.
- Dungeon Vouchers and Guaranteed Rewards have been retired and will no longer be given upon completion of dungeons.
- Unspent vouchers and unclaimed rewards can be spent/picked up through Eavan in Dunbarton.
- Any guide quests related to the Dungeon Guide have been removed.
Detailed features of the Dungeon Guide can also be found on the Revamped Dungeon Guide. - At this time, only the core dungeons will display the Recommended/Minimum Equipment Level and Item Reward List.

[h3]Misc. Dungeon Changes[/h3]
- With Adv. Hardmode passes no longer used for accessing the Uladh dungeons, the following handicraft recipes have been removed from the Handicrafting List:

[h3]Equipment Disassembly[/h3]
- The ability to disassemble equipment has been added.
- You can access the Equipment Disassembly UI through the icon on your Main Inventory Bar or by right-clicking a piece of equipment that can be disassembled and selecting “Equipment Disassembly”.
- Only equipment that has been graded and has the #Dungeon Loot attribute tag can be disassembled.
- You will receive Refined Crystal Fragments when disassembling equipment.
- The amount of Refined Crystal Fragments received after disassembly will depend on the level and rarity of equipment.
- Refined Crystal Fragments can be spent for various goods at Soraia’s Shop.

[h3]Equipment Inheritance[/h3]
- The ability has been added for equipment to inherit another equipment’s upgraded elements.
- You can access the Equipment Inheritance System via right-clicking the equipment item and selecting it to be the Source or Target.
- Not all equipment is eligible for inheritance.
- Inheritance is only possible with weapons and armor of the same type.
- E.g. Staves can only be inherited with other staves.
- The cost of inheritance is based on the type of equipment and options being inherited.
- The conditions for equipment that can be inherited are:
- Equipment to be used as materials (Source) do not need to have a Rarity Grade, but the equipment being inherited (Target) does.
- Spirit Weapons cannot be used as the Source. Items with an Appearance Scroll or Seal Scroll applied will require these attributes to be removed before inheritance.
- Some equipment that cannot be repaired or were provided through events cannot be used for inheritance.
- Items that cannot be inherited will have the tag #Not eligible for Inheritance in the attribute field.
- Equipment that is slotted in the Source will be destroyed.
- Inherited equipment can no longer be traded, shared in the bank, burned by an enchanter, or transferred to Erg.
- Options that can be inherited are:
- Enchants (Prefix/Suffix)
- Special Upgrades
- Reforges
- Erg
- Holy Fire/Water
- Depending on the situation, certain options may not be inherited:
- Enchants (Prefix/Suffix)
- If the Target equipment cannot be Enchanted.
- If the Source or Target equipment is in an "(Unable to enchant)" state.
- If the Enchant from the Source equipment cannot be used on the Target equipment.
- Special Upgrade
- If the Target equipment cannot be Special Upgraded.
- If the Source or Target equipment is in an "(Unable to Special Upgrade)" state.
- If the Target equipment has not completed it's normal upgrade path.
- Reforging
- If the Target equipment cannot be reforged.
- If a Reforging option that cannot appear on the Target equipment is included on the Source equipment.

- If the Erg type is different from the weapon type of the Target equipment.
- If the Target equipment cannot infuse Erg.

[h3]Enchant Ability Increase Scroll[/h3]
- The Enchant Ability Increase Scroll has been added to the game.
- This unique item can increase a stat from an Enchant by 1.
- It cannot increase fixed stats.
- It cannot increase a stat that is already at maximum value.
- Can be found as a reward from Alby Shineseeker Dungeon.

[h3]Reforging and Reforging Tool Changes[/h3]
- Reforging Ranks have been removed.
- Reforging Tools will always grant 3 Attribute lines.
- Journeyman Reforging Tools will be removed.
- Growth Guide rewards have been updated to include this change.
- The Basic Reforging Tools have been removed from NPC shops.
- Remaining Basic Reforging Tools have been removed, with the gold being returned to the character via the Mailbox.
- For Milletians hoping to use reforged gears towards their Erg levels as before, Erg EXP fragments will be available through dungeon rewards (Neartite) and available in the Guild Shop.
- Precise Reforging Tools have been removed from the following location due to the renewal of the Dungeon Guide:
- Eavan’s Dungeon Voucher Shop
- Hope Gems (Surging, Faint Surging, Blossoming) will be removed.
- Existing Hope Gems will be converted to Hope Essence
- Compensation based on type of Hope Gem and quantity will be returned to the character via the Mailbox.

- 1x Faint Surging Hope Gem = 25x Hope Essence
- 1x Blossoming Hope Gem = 7x Hope Essence

[h3]Spirit Weapon Improvements[/h3]
- In order to prevent Spirit Weapons from missing out on Ego Points, the following adjustments have been made:
- Bonus Ego Points will no longer be lost if the Spirit’s Bond is not maxed at certain ranks.
- Players who have missed out on these Bonus Ego Points will have them added automatically.
- [Spirit] {Spirit’s Name}’s Call quests have been removed.
- Incompleted quests will be rewarded automatically.
- The amount of points earned at certain ranks has been increased.
- Spirit Weapons will now only lose half their Bond upon level up.
- Increasing Bond will still be possible as before (through conversation, combat, Bond Increase Potions, etc.)
- Spirit Weapons’ EXP gain from feeding has been adjusted based on its current Bond.
- At maximum Bond, Spirit Weapons can gain 30% more EXP when being fed items.
[h2]Tutorial and Early Game Improvements[/h2]
With the goal to reduce the information presented when starting the game, and to better assist new Milletians arriving in Erinn for the first time, we’ve made more changes to the tutorial and early game.
- New Milletians will no longer receive guide quests for events until after they’ve acquired an Arcana Talent OR completed Blaanid's Third Memoir.
- This restriction is applied to Hot Day rewards as well.

- The Cumulative Level requirement for Uladh Veteran Dungeons has been updated from Level 5,000 to 25,000.
- A new Beginner Chat Channel has been added for all new and returning Milletians.
- Most Milletians that haven’t been to Erinn in over 3 months will be given access to the channel.
- Accounts that do not have any characters over Cumulative Level 10,000 will have access to the channel.
- When entering the channel for the first time, you’ll be given a “Channel Title”
- Channel titles will display the month the player has first entered the channel.
- Channel title examples:
- Access to the channel is temporary and will be removed after spending 6 months (real time) in Erinn.
- Grandmaster quests have been adjusted and made easier.
- Lezarro’s Grandmaster Mission (for 1) now allows for 2 players.
- The requirement of clearing an Avon Mission (Hard) has been changed to allow any difficulty.
- The Grandmaster Mission “Defeat a Red Dragon” has been modified to being an instanced mission.
- You can access this instanced mission by talking to Lezarro.
- The number of monsters needed to be defeated in quests has been reduced.
- The number of times required to gather, craft, or use skills has been reduced.
- The number of crafted items required has been reduced.
- During [Guide] Lighting the Arcana's Flame, the Flint gathering has been made easier! Kelpie has gathered these in advance, and players will be able to purchase them from Kelpie to progress in their quest.
- The AP Skill Training system has been improved..
- AP Training is now available for all skills, including Astrology.
- AP can be used to train a skill to the next rank once the skill training has reached 30% of that rank.
- A “Fully Train” button has been added.
- When using AP to fully train a skill’s rank, the system will calculate the required AP needed for the necessary training requirements to reach the next rank.
- Skills will now automatically rank up upon reaching 100 points by default.
- However, skills that have not met the necessary training requirements (for Dan Ranks) or if the player does not have sufficient AP, the skill will not automatically rank up.
- If a skill has been de-ranked, it will not rank up automatically.
- AP Training is now available for all skills, including Astrology.

[h3]Skill Stat Rebalance[/h3]
- Stats that were distributed differently depending on the character’s race will now be distributed evenly.
- This will occur upon logging in for the first time on each character after the update.
- Stats that are gained when leveling up are now uniform across all races.
- All stats that were obtainable from Life Skills and Talent bonuses have been shifted to Combat
- Skills and Talent bonuses.
- The production bonus that was obtained from stats will now be applied at its maximum value.

[h3]Potential System Removal[/h3]
- The Potential System has been removed.
- Some stats that could be obtained via Potential will be added to the Combat Talent bonuses.

- A new Growth Guide quest has been added to reward the character with the Soul Stream Inventory.

[h2]Other Fantasy Life Changes[/h2]
- Hitstun and Knockback Changes
- Milletians will no longer be stunned or knocked back when taking damage below a threshold of the character’s maximum health.
- When Mana Shield is activated, the threshold changes to the character’s maximum mana.
- Some skills may still initiate stun/knockback, regardless of damage done to the player.
- These changes will not take effect in PvP or when a Milletian is in a Roleplaying Mission.
- Milletians will no longer be stunned or knocked back when taking damage below a threshold of the character’s maximum health.
- Arcana Swap Improvements
- Can now swap the Arcanas from (almost) anywhere via the Character Menu.
- The cost is now 10 AP instead of 100 AP.
- Manage Arcana Quest Improvements
- Arcana Association Roster has a new Quest Progress tracker board in the Arcana Room and when speaking to Laoire about Promising Candidates.
- By completing the Arcana Link Quests players will be given Journal Achievements, Rebirth Potions, and a Transformation Medal allowing them to transform into the Arcana NPC!
- The further you progress with your Arcana talents, the more information will be included in this section!
- Arcana Association Roster has a new Quest Progress tracker board in the Arcana Room and when speaking to Laoire about Promising Candidates.
- Nearby Interaction Hotkey
- Allows players to press a hotkey to interact or speak to nearby targets or NPCs within 3m.
- When you first log in, the shortcut key is automatically assigned to the [E] hotkey.
- For players who already have another hotkey assigned to the E key, it will be assigned to the [Ctrl+F] hotkey.
- The assigned hotkey can be changed in the Settings menu.
- The positions of some installations have been moved to allow smooth use of interaction keys, such as:
- Signposts around Eavan.
- Signposts next to the Spinning Wheel in Dunbarton.
- Signposts next to the Alby Dungeon Goddess’ Altar.

- Auction House slots can now be expanded with gold!
- Under My Auctions, click the “+” button to bring up the UI for expanding Auction House Slots.
- You can purchase up to 3 slots with gold for 1,000,000 gold each.
- Each purchased slot lasts for 30 days.
- An “Auto-Renew” option has been added for Auction House Slots purchased with gold.
- Miscellaneous Changes
- Arrows that were locked to specific bows can now be used with any bow (ie. Perseus Voiceless Arrows can now be used with the Celtic Ancient Bow).
- Pet Training Quest Difficulty Reductions
- The Ruler of Cenae mission, aka the Lion Fight, has had its difficulty reduced.
- The Guide Quest for Mag Mell Dungeon is now optional. The Mag Mell Dungeon can be entered without clearing the guide quest.
- The Guild Shop has been updated:
- Tech Duinn Mission Additional Entry Passes have been removed.
- Journeyman’s Reforging Tools have been removed.
- Erg EXP Fragment (3000) has been added for the Level 1 shop.

Lots of changes on the horizon, Milletians! While we have fought to stave off the ensuing tide, like Divine Beasts, anomalies can pop up without warning. Please do let us know when you see them in our Discord’s Bug Report Forums so we can handle them post-haste!
- Those who had journeyed through the Hellgate to claim their Starline Asterism Scythe Appearance Scrolls will be pleased to know that the idle stance now works correctly when equipped with an off-hand Orb.
- The G1 Replay quest “Find the Black Orb” will now allow players to… find the Black Orb without issue.
- The following titles have been renamed:
- "who Finished a Long Story" → "who Finished a Notable Story"
- "Achieved x Iria Exploration Points" → "who Achieved x Iria Expedition Points"
- Further improvements to the Wedding text.
- An issue caused by incorrect data in the new Right Hand Dressing Room category caused several Arrows and Marionettes to disappear when stored between October 16 and November 6. The item setting has been corrected, and the missing items are being restored.
