14th Anniversary - Patch Notes - March 17th, 2022

The following Events, Sales, and Promotions are running: 14th Anniversary 
  • Happy 14th Anniversary, Milletians! Celebrate 14 years of Mabinogi with mini-games and tons of prizes! Check out the event page for more in-depth details!
    • Talk to Dero the Eventsman in Festia to start the 14th Anniversary celebration.
    • Complete daily quests to receive Night Bazaar Stickers. The more daily quests you complete, the more rewards you can obtain!
    • How good are you at the Night Bazaar mini-games? Play 4 different types of mini-games every day!
    • Conquer the waves of enemies within the Cave of Trials to receive prizes and event titles celebrating your achievements! The title rewards will replace your existing Cave of Trials titles if you've been through the scenario previously.
    • Use gold or Instant Prize Tickets Capsule Machine in Festia for a chance at different rewards every week.
    • Exchange your Night Bazaar Stickers for special prizes at different shopkeepers!
    • Don't forget to log in weekly for more rewards as well as additional Night Bazaar Stickers.
Repair Cost Reduction
  • The cost of repairing equipment has been lowered to 1/5th (80% per repair point) of the original price.
    • Example: If the repair cost was 260 gold per repair point before the update, it is now 52 gold per repair point after the update.
  • If the discounted repair cost after the update is less than 1 gold, the repair cost is set to 1 gold.
    • Example: "Beginner" equipment repair cost per point is 1 gold before and after the update.
  • The reduced repair cost applies to Gold and Ducat repair methods.
  • All repair types benefit from the discount, including Falias Artifacts.
    • However, keep in mind that this reduction does not benefit Brionac repair as it uses AP and not gold.
  • Cost-modifying effects such as enchantments and upgrades will still apply the cost modification, but the cost of the repair will still be lower as the base repair cost has been reduced.
  • NPC repair rates have not been changed. 
Crom Bás Dungeon Polishing
  • The overall dungeon length for Crom Bás has been reduced.
    • The appearance of magic circles and destinations to certain rooms and puzzles will change accordingly.
  • The puzzle requiring you to rescue endangered citizens has been lowered from 30 waves to 16 waves.
  • The location of campfires and traps has been changed.
  • The number of waves of monsters and amount of monsters that appear has been adjusted.
  • The maximum number of Souls that appear has been changed from 4 to 6, depending on the Crom Bás Info score.
  • There has been a change made so that Melci Diafol may not appear at a low chance.
  • You can now use the following skills when fighting Irusan and Glas Ghaibhleann:
    • Anchor Rush
    • Tumble
    • Wings of Eclipse
  • Irusan's HP has been greatly reduced in the Advanced and Elite difficulties.
  • Giga Glas Ghaibhleann's movement speed has been increased.
  • The delay time before and after the Giga Glas Ghaibhleann's Jumping Dash skill has been reduced.
  • The combat AI of Completed Glas Ghaiblheann and Giga Glas Ghaibhleann has been changed to be a little more aggressive.
  • The movement speed of the Dark Shrieker that spawns during the Glas Ghaibhleann boss fight has been increased.
  • When Dark Shrieker's self-destruct attack accumulates more than 5 times for Completed Glas Ghaibhleann and more than 9 times for Giga Glas Ghaibhleann, Confusion will be applied to the boss.
  • The damage taken when Confusion is applied to Glas Ghaibhleann has been increased slightly.
The following changes have been made to the game:
  • The Weekly Reward Limit for Crom Bás has been changed from 7 times a week to 10 times a week.
  • The drop rate has been slightly increased for some enchantments that were difficult to obtain in Crom Bás.
  • The drop rate of the Nightbringer Huntsman has been increased in the Crom Bás dungeon.
  • Mana, Stamina, and Hunger will no longer drop below 0 if you are possessed in Crom Bás.
  • The time it takes to bless an item using Holy Water of Lymilark has been changed from 4 seconds to 0.5 seconds.
The following bug fixes have been made to the game:
  • Fixed an issue where certain boots would clip into the the Water Spirit Outfit (F) and Special Water Spirit Outfit (F).
  • An issue with enhancement from the Souls in Crom Bas that reduced the Encore skill cooldown has been fixed. When you receive the Music Enhancement blessing, the cooldown of Encore is decreased.
  • The issue where Glas Ghaibhleann intermittently rises after death has been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue where, when the Dark Ritual failed in Crom Bas, the increased attack power value of Glas Ghaibhleann was applied differently than intended.
    • Before: Completed Glas Ghaibhleann increased by 3 times, Giga Glas Ghaibhleann increased by 2 times
    • After: Completed Glas Ghaibhleann increased by 2 times, Giga Glas Ghaibhleann increased by 3 times
  • You will now revive automatically if you die due to remaining AOE effects after clearing Crom Bas.
The following are known bugs:
  • There is an issue where you cannot Friend Summon using Fynn Pets. It will show the error, "Unavailable because the owner has opened a Personal Shop".
  • Some players' hotkeys and pet menu settings reset after logging out.
  • During the Kraken Rex boss fight, Kraken Rex will use an attack that will cause players to lose protection, semi-permanently, until they change channels or relog.
  • There is a typo in the Finishing Materials list when crafting the Dustin Silver Knight Greaves.
  • There is a known issue where some players are unable to obtain the G1 quest "Find Goro's Ring".
  • There is an issue where certain G3 cutscenes will not play, but still charge gold.
  • There is an issue where Homestead item information is overlapping.
  • There is an issue where the Today Visitor Count does not reset to 0. When a visiting character visits the Homestead, the Today and Total Count accumulates normally.
  • The available upgrades in the Item Upgrade may overlap in the UI if the window is increased.
  • Homestead Anvils and Furnaces have settings to allow visitors to use them, but do not actually restrict the use of the items.
  • There is a slight graphical error where part of the hose is missing when a William or Butler Partner uses the Water Hose gesture.
  • Some Partner gestures that have them holding a weapon will appear as though the weapon is disconnected and floating.
  • There are Partner gestures that do not activate when a Partner has something equipped in their left hand.
  • There is an issue after using the Thunder skill, the character can't charge Thunder again until after the Thunder bolt hits/damages enemies.
  • If you try to change your style to an appearance already saved in a Beauty Slot, it will say it failed.
  • There is a minor visual issue with the Beauty Slot text if you scroll up and down after expanding the Beauty Slot.
  • The outline color when clicking on an empty Beauty Slot is incorrect.
  • Fine Reforging Tools can still be obtained in the Eweca Orb.
  • There is text cut-off in the Buy Item UI when buying the Royal Society Appreciation Box from Melwyn.
  • The inventory image for the Mace of Mercy is incorrect.
  • Feeding a Pet Instructor Stick to a Level 100 Spirit weapon will cause the character to freeze.
  • If you had a unicode heart on your wedding ring, the heart appears as a question mark.
  • The Shaggy Perm hairstyle can be saved in a Beauty Slot.
  • Cobweb Mummy enemies do not appear in the Alby Advanced Dungeon.
  • Guilds are not appearing in the Guild List.
  • When you first open the Master Plan Inventory, it will incorrectly show as locked. Closing and reopening the inventory will fix the issue.
  • The following Doll Bags have the incorrect dimensions in the item description: 
    • Bhatair Doll Bag
    • Morfydrianas Doll Bag
    • Tani Doll Bag
  • The Item Illusion T46 recipe incorrectly states that it requires Steel Plates.
  • There is a grammar issue in the item attribute section of the Trader Enchant Scroll.
  • There is a minor graphical issue with the Special Shining Stage Concert Costume (M) when the character equipped with the outfit is running.
  • Scathach's hands do not match her skin color.
  • The Tail Chasers mini-game in Festia is currently inaccessible.
