September Jousting Renewal & Quality of Life Updates - Patch Notes - September 7

The following Events, Sales, and Promotions are running: September Jousting Renewal & Quality of Life Updates:
  • The Jousting Tournament Renewal is here! Check in with Lileas and review the updated details here: Jousting Tournament Renewal Update
    • The preliminary and tournament match times have been updated.
    • Up to 64 combatants can participate in the Jousting Finals.
    • Skills exclusive to Jousting have been added.
    • New rewards have been added to Lileas’ shop which Jousting Points can be exchanged for.
    • The ability to cheer on combatants has been added, rewarding Jousting Points when spectating.

    • Several inventory improvements have been implemented, such as a fishing box, trash can function, and changes to the Inventory Search functions.
    • Elves and Giants can now get married in Emain Macha!
    • Dan Advancement tests have been balanced so that you can achieve your Dan ranks more comfortably.

The following changes have been made to the game:
  • Updated the Word Filter to allow “Swap”, “C8”, and “Lesbian”.
  • You can now use Rage Impact with the following Two-Handed Clubs:
    • Sheep Mace 
    • Lovey Dovey Cotton Candy 
    • Merchants' Guild Abacus 
    • Seashell Plushie 
    • Beluga Whale Plushie 
    • Dumbo Octopus Plushie 
    • Black Rose Bouquet 
    • Black Rose Clutch 
    • Glass Trim Bouquet 
    • Sacred Glow Censer 
    • Sacred Glow Holy Water 
    • Fairy Bubble Blower 
    • Seraphic Cantabile Holy Censer
  • In order to better tell them apart, we have renamed the 24-Hour cooldown “Forgetful Potion” to “Special Forgetful Potion”. The 7-Day cooldown version will remain the same. 
    • The descriptions for both have been updated to make the effects more clear. 
  • Renamed “Sephirot Arrow” to “Sephirot Bolt”, as these can only be fired via Crossbow. 
  • The buff effect for Baltane Mission Crystals has been changed from "Shadow Crystal" to "Baltane Crystal", in order to make them more distinct from Shadow Crystals.
  • (As of the August 10th Maintenance) It has been changed so that when you use a Weapon Appearance Scroll, the color of the item will now follow the color codes of the item the Weapon Appearance Scroll was based on. Before, the color was assigned randomly.
    • This change applies only to the appearance scrolls obtained after the August 10th update patch.
The following bug fixes have been made to the game:
  • The Gather Stackable Items buttons will no longer restack and highlight stacks that are already at maximum. This improves the performance of this button.
  • Improved the Pet Dye UI to fit RGB values properly.
  • Continued our constant pursuit of polish by fixing up typos in G3, G24, and G25.
  • Joust in time, we've performed a polish pass on the Jousting-related text!
  • Do you hear bells? We've also improved the Marriage-related text!
  • Fixed the text on Zone of Renewal to correct the ability cost from Phantasmal Amalgam to Phantasmal Remnant. The actual cost is unchanged.
  • Fixed an issue where Intact Shyllien (Part-Time Job only) and Energy Converter (Part-Time Job only) placed in pet inventories could not be retrieved.
  • The ability Mirage Missile was not properly granting stats from ranking the skill up. For those whose Mirage Missile was already ranked up, you will receive the missing stats automatically following a Rebirth.
  • Floating heads no more- Fixed an issue where NPC-style Transformations would lack a body when transforming with a full body Robe equipped in your Gear slot.
  • Corrected a few graphical issues on the Rookie Barista Uniform (M).
  • (Fixed during the August 17th Maintenance) Commerce rejoice and wyverns beware - Fixed an issue with Poison Potions that would prevent players from crafting Poison Tip Wyvern Ballista Bolts.
Bug fixes from the September 14th Maintenance:
  • Heavy Strike! Fixed an issue where the number of players able to join the Jousting Tournaments was incorrect. Up to 16 players may join the Preliminary matches, and up to 64 players may join the Finals.
  • Counter! The ticker times for the Preliminary matches now correctly displays the proper times.
  • Focus! The "Today's Contents" section of the Traveler's Diary now displays the proper Prelims Jousting times.
  • Unbreakable Defense! The Cheer Squad has set their alarms and will now properly show up at the updated match times.
  • In an effort to improve the flavor of Mabinogi's early-game experience, we have revised the descriptions for a number of early-game weapons commonly available in NPC shops.
  • Removed an out-of-date mechanic reference on some older Staves. More Stave descriptions will be updated in a later patch.
  • Polished the descriptions of the myriad Shadow Crystals to make the effect more clear.
  • Provided a little more polish for the Wedding text. Hope your love springs eternal!
  • The recipes for Arbalest and Highlander Long Bow have been updated to remove "Radiant Tough String" for the correct "Radiant String". This is a text only change, the functionality for these recipes is unchanged.
  • Improved the objectives for the Carpentry Grandmaster Missions to better indicate that the [Average/Fine/Finest] Firewood must be Made, not Obtained.
The following are known bugs:
  • When viewing the additional information in the character information UI, there is some text cut off at the bottom of the Jousting information.
  • The "Today's Contents" section of the Traveler's Diary still has the incorrect time for the Sunday Jousting Finals.
  • In rare circumstances when rapidly casting Arrow Revolver, players will become unable to move or attack until receiving an attack or relogging.
  • Several items containing ampersands in their name and description aren't showing the & symbol.
  • Shop items with expiration times start counting down upon the player logging in or changing channels, rather than having their count down start when the item is purchased.
  • There is an issue where one-time/limited item cannot be purchased from the ingame shop, but can be on the web-shop.
  • There is an issue with the in-game Guild list not populating with guilds.
