May Quality of Life Update

[h2]Dungeon Changes[/h2]
General Tech Duinn Changes
  • Instructions for some missions have been improved to provide clear indicators such as monster deaths (Example: Golems in Awakened Abyssal Lord) or item use requirements (Example: Lava Lump in Seven Nightmares).
  • The Lava Decal spawned when defeating enemies in the Salamander family will now have a casting indicator to warn of the incoming danger.
  • Fixed an issue causing Lava Decals (such as those from Salamanders) to stun Milletians through Iron Will.
  • A timer gauge has been added to show the time remaining until Salamanders "self-destruct" after a certain period of time.
  • Removed the following skills from most non-Boss enemies:
    • Heavy Stander
    • Natural Shield
    • Mana Deflector
  • Bosses will no longer resist the following skills:
    • Final Hit
    • Magnum Shot
    • Firebolt
    • Chain Impale
  • The following enemies will have a cooldown added to their Ice Spear spell:
    • Cethlenn
    • Tathlum
    • Red Lizard Witch
    • Black Moon Follower
  • The following rewards will now have a longer despawn timer when on the floor:
    • Evil Eye Sealstone
    • Function Geata Fragment
    • Remnants of Illusion
Revived Illusion Changes
  • A timer to show when the next Salamander will be summoned has been added as a visual gauge above the Red Lizard Witch enemy.
  • The gimmick of Red Lizard Witch reflecting damage from being hit has been removed.
Feth Fiada Changes
  • The draw distance for Feth Fiada has been slightly increased.
  • The frequency of how often the following enemies teleport in combat has been reduced:
    • Fire Slime
    • Ice Slime
    • Lightning Slime
  • Lightning Slimes and Black Moon Followers will no longer become temporarily immune to all damage upon knockdown, and will instead gain a temporary boost to their Protection and Magic Protection.
    • This change also applies to all Lightning Slimes outside of Feth Fiada.
  • Previously Illusion Zombies and Black Moon Followers would ignore damage below a certain threshold. This has been removed, and their HP values have been increased to compensate.
  • During the Hallway Puzzle, Illusion Zombies will now spawn in the same fixed locations on both Easy and Hard modes.
  • Tathlum's "Spin Dash" skill, which attacks while rolling, has been changed:
    • Cast time of the skill before rolling has been increased.
    • An attack range indicator is displayed during the casting time.
    • The monster can be damaged while using the skill.
    • The attack range has been reduced to a narrower range.
    • The attack duration, which was slightly different between difficulties, has been adjusted to be the same in all difficulties.
    • These changes also apply to the Frostwork Soul monsters in Glenn Bearna.
  • A timer gauge has been added to show the remaining time towards when Black Moon Followers will disappear.
  • When the first Tech Duinn Geata is defeated, the particle indicator will be shown to point towards the location of the next orb.
  • Tech Duinn Geatas will now always spawn in a fixed location on both Easy and Hard modes.
  • The following attacks from Tech Duinn Geata will now display cast indicators, and have had their casting time increased to allow better reaction:
    • Light of Annihilation
    • Light of Destruction
    • Windmill
Seven Nightmare Changes
  • During the Salamander puzzle,
    • The "Black Explosion" caused by the Evil Eye Monolith has been removed.
    • Lava Lumps held inside the inventory will now automatically be used against the Evil Eye Monolith every 5 seconds. The Lava Lump can still be manually activated.
  • During the Black Moon Follower Battle puzzle,
    • The radius of the Lava Decals has been decreased, and the amount that appears has been increased.
    • A preview casting indicator has been added for decals that are about to appear.
  • During Cethlenn’s boss fight,
    • Cethlenn's "Summon Reaper" skill indicator now has a higher resolution.
      • The skill indicator has also been changed to better match its range.
    • Cethlenn’s Staff enemies have had the following changes made:
      • Staves will pass through targets, applying a bleed effect on hit.
      • Their attack speed has been increased.
      • They will no longer cause knockback on hit.
      • The enemy name and health bars will be hidden to reduce noise.
Awakened Abyssal Lord Changes
  • During the Golem Puzzle, the moving sacrifice circle has been removed and replaced with a large stationary one in the center.
  • During the Barrier/Bastion Puzzle,
    • A timer to show when the next Barrier Spirits will be summoned has been added as a visual gauge above the Bastion enemy.
    • The maximum number of summoned Barrier Spirits has been changed so that it does not exceed a certain number of summoned monsters.
  • During the Boss fight, the location of the name and health bars of the Soaring Leg enemy have been improved to be visible from the floor
Crom Bás Changes
  • Defense and Protection of regular Crom Bás monsters has been reduced.
    • When Dark Erg levels are between 71~100, the Protection of regular monsters has been reduced, but their HP has been increased.
  • Removed the following skills from most non-Boss enemies:
    • Heavy Stander
    • Natural Shield
    • Mana Deflector
  • The defense-increasing Divine Blessing effect from Frozen Cari and Dark Cari will no longer apply to Frozen Cari and Dark Cari.
  • Stun Immunity has been removed from the following monsters:
    • Dark Ronaun
    • Dark Cari
    • Dark Llygadog
    • Dark Gwallgof
    • Dark Wyneb
    • Dark Disciple
  • The following monsters have cooldowns added to the listed skills, causing them to be used less:
    • Disciple and Dark Disciple: Shooting Rush
    • Slime Wyneb and Dark Wyneb: Ice Spear and Thunder
    • Un Llygadog and Dark Llygadog: Icebolt and Thunder
    • Ronaun and Dark Ronaun: Puppet's Snare
    • Frozen Cari and Dark Cari: Icebolt, Ice Spear, and Thunder
    • Irusan: Ice Spear and Thunder
  • Excluding specific phase mechanics, the damage caps for Irusan, Completed Glas Ghaibhleann and Giga Glas Ghaibhleann have been removed.
  • The additional damage taken by Completed Glas Ghaibhleann and Giga Glas Ghaibhleann when dazed has been reduced from 230% to 200%.
  • Completed Glas Ghaibhleann and Giga Glas Ghaibhleann's "Erg Black Hole" will now be visible when the ‘Minimize VFX’ option is enabled.
  • The Disciples that spawn during Completed Glas Ghaibhleann and Giga Glas Ghaibhleann's gimmicks had their passive defenses removed, except for when they resist that damage type.
  • The following changes have been made to the fight with Irusan:
    • The summoning rules for regular monsters have been changed, and new gimmicks have been added.
    • Irusan now has an increased delay after using Sharpened Claw.
    • The progression rules for Irusan's Sweet Tea Time (where the cauldron is activated) have been changed.
    • Irusan's Deathly Brand has been changed so that it can be canceled using Hand of Restoration.
      • This status effect icon is also now visible to all party members.
      • Some dialogue about this effect provided by Brielle has been changed.
    • The interval of Dark Lure (Red exploding circles) has been changed:
      • Dark Erg 0-30: 6~10 seconds
      • Dark Erg 31~70: 5~8 seconds
      • Dark Erg 71~100: 4~6 seconds
  • The visibility of Warp Circles in Crom Bas has been improved.
    Green Magic Circle has not been changed.
    Yellow Magic Circle now has an outline without a shade added.
    Red Magic Circle now has an outline with a shade added.
Glenn Bearna Changes
  • Removed the following skills from most non-Boss enemies:
    • Heavy Stander
    • Natural Shield
    • Mana Deflector
  • Damage caps have been removed except for certain sections during boss fights.
  • An issue where some monsters behave abnormally when hit by the Flame Burst skill has been fixed.
Miscellaneous Dungeon Changes
  • G1 Fiodh - Lowered the HP value of the following creatures:
    • Small Golem
    • Flying Sword
[h2]Additional Fantasy Life Changes[/h2]
General
  • Spring is in the air and there are flowers to be picked! To help with that, we’ve added 2 new items:
    • Flower Basket
      • This item can hold up to 200 Bundles of Flowers.
      • Can be purchased from Del for 350,000 gold.
    • Sturdy Flower Basket
      • slaps top of basket* This bad boy can fit even more Bundles of Flowers - up to 500!
      • Can be purchased from any Commerce Trading Merchant Imp for 500,000 Ducats.
  • We know that carrying several of the same item can be cumbersome, so we’ve now made the following items stackable and/or had their stack limits increased to 20, including:
    • Bunches of Flowers
    • Dye Ampoules
    • Metal Dye Ampoules
    • All Baltane Mission Elite Passes
    • All Shadow Mission Elite Passes
  • To better assist our merchants, the Auction House functionality has been enhanced.
    • The UI will no longer close after registering an item for sale.
    • Erinn will now inform you that the item has been successfully listed in the chat log.
    • Items that can be sold on the Auction House will now be highlighted in your inventory and gear slots.
  • The “Claim Rewards” button in the Growth Guide has been renamed to “Completion Rewards” for better clarity.
  • An outline will be added to the VFX which indicates the impact range of Moon Stones in the G24 [Fallen from the Sky] mission.
Quest Polishing
  • Blaanid is now more concise with her dialogue when helping new Milletians on their path of learning about the world of Erinn.
  • In the Pet Training Skill quest [A Blossoming Embrace], the number of required Bear Fynni Gems has been reduced.
    • Additional text has been added to the Quest Scroll to clarify how to speak to Fynni Fynn.
  • You can no longer remove the Dark Knight Armor in your inventory prior to completing [Eliminating the Dark Knight Armor] Quest.
  • In the G1 Mission [Paradise], you can now talk to Tarlach to receive another Brown Fomor Pass if you happen to lose it.
  • In the final G1 Missions [Tir Na Nog], [Find the Black Orb], and [Final Dance], additional text has been included into the Quest Scroll on how to return to Tir Na Nog.
