Server Merge

• The Alexina and Nao servers have been merged into the Erinn server. For full details about the merge, please read FAQ 1 and FAQ 2.
• If you are a returning player to Mabinogi, we highly recommend checking out the Returning Milletian Guide for a quick recap on recent updates.

The following changes have been made to the game:

• Guild Management and Guild Creation no longer requires Mabinogi Premium Service or VIP Service.
• Known Issue: We are investigating the issue where some guilds cannot place a guild stone or invite new members.
• Extra Equipment Slot Tabs can now be increased to a maximum of 12 tabs, up from 8 tabs.
• Bank Limit Changes
  
  • The default bank limit has been increased by 50,000,000 gold for the first character created on an account. (20,000,000 -> 70,000,000 gold)
  • When visiting any Bank, you can view your current maximum bank limit.
    
    • E.g. Current: Gold Amount / Max: 3,500,000,000
    • Your current bank limit is determined by the amount of characters you have on the account and can be increased in other ways: Character Bank Limit Details
  • You will not be able to deposit any more gold to the bank once the Current maximum gold is reached for your account.
  • The maximum bank limit that can be reached is 3,500,000,000 gold.
    
    • The maximum amount that can be reached by creating characters is 2,100,000,000 gold.
    • You can increase your account’s bank limit by using a Bank Limit Expansion Coupon to increase the capacity by up to 10 million, 50 million, or 100 million gold at a time.
    • If the bank limit is increased using Expansion Coupons up to 3,500,000,000 gold, the limit cannot be further increased by other methods.

The following bug fixes have been made to the game:

• Fixed an issue where the Bhatair, Morfydrianas, and Tani Doll Bags had the incorrect dimensions in their descriptions.
• Fixed an issue where the recipe for the Item Illusion T46 recipe stated that it required Steel Plates.
• Fixed a grammar issue in the item attribute section of the Trader Enchant Scroll.
• Fixed a grammar issue in the Tidal Guardian Box description.

The following are known bugs:

• There is an issue where you cannot Friend Summon using Fynn Pets. It will show the error, "Unavailable because the owner has opened a Personal Shop".
• Some players' hotkeys and pet menu settings reset after logging out.
• During the Kraken Rex boss fight, Kraken Rex will use an attack that will cause players to lose protection, semi-permanently, until they change channels or relog.
• There is a typo in the Finishing Materials list when crafting the Dustin Silver Knight Greaves.
• There is a known issue where some players are unable to obtain the G1 quest "Find Goro's Ring".
• There is an issue where certain G3 cutscenes will not play, but still charge gold.
• There is an issue where Homestead item information is overlapping.
• There is an issue where the Today Visitor Count does not reset to 0. When a visiting character visits the Homestead, the Today and Total Count accumulates normally.
• The available upgrades in the Item Upgrade may overlap in the UI if the window is increased.
• Homestead Anvils and Furnaces have settings to allow visitors to use them, but do not actually restrict the use of the items.
• There is a slight graphical error where part of the hose is missing when a William or Butler Partner uses the Water Hose gesture.
• Some Partner gestures that have them holding a weapon will appear as though the weapon is disconnected and floating.
• There are Partner gestures that do not activate when a Partner has something equipped in their left hand.
• There is an issue after using the Thunder skill, the character can't charge Thunder again until after the Thunder bolt hits/damages enemies.
• If you try to change your style to an appearance already saved in a Beauty Slot, it will say it failed.
• There is a minor visual issue with the Beauty Slot text if you scroll up and down after expanding the Beauty Slot.
• The outline color when clicking on an empty Beauty Slot is incorrect.
• There is text cut-off in the Buy Item UI when buying the Royal Society Appreciation Box from Melwyn.
• The inventory image for the Mace of Mercy is incorrect.
• Feeding a Pet Instructor Stick to a Level 100 Spirit weapon will cause the character to freeze.
• If you had a unicode heart on your wedding ring, the heart appears as a question mark.
• The Shaggy Perm hairstyle can be saved in a Beauty Slot.
• Cobweb Mummy enemies do not appear in the Alby Advanced Dungeon.
• Guilds are not appearing in the Guild List.
• When you first open the Master Plan Inventory, it will incorrectly show as locked. Closing and reopening the inventory will fix the issue.
• There is a minor graphical issue with the Special Shining Stage Concert Costume (M) when the character equipped with the outfit is running.
• Scathach's hands do not match her skin color.
• The Tail Chasers mini-game in Festia is currently inaccessible.
• The Iria Exploration Quest Board will cause a crash when clicked on.
• A character's neck will become detached from their body when wearing the Mysterious Thief outfit.

Dear Milletians,

I want to sincerely apologize for the longer than expected downtime experienced while merging Alexina and Nao. To give you all an understanding of the events, here is a summarized timeline of the maintenance and issues that occurred on April 14th.

Our testing prior to the merge went as we had planned and we were proceeding along as we had expected. We opened the servers publicly at 4 PM PDT as we had announced. Though the high volume of logins was expected, the Login Server was unable to handle amount of simultaneous requests shortly after opening. This resulted in players unable to reach the lobby or enter into the game world. After closing the server, we found errors related to Fynni Pets causing extra requests to the login and fixed them before re-opening again at 7:45 PM PDT.

Unfortunately, the login issues remained so we shut down the servers again to resume investigating the cause. We tried our best to fix the login issue to the best of our ability. There is a chance that when logging off, you will return to the Character selection screen and return to the start menu with an error, "Server cannot be reached." This means that you will need to shut down your game client and log in to the account again (if you are attempting to switch characters). We will continue to work on a permanent fix to this issue in a future patch.

Currently, we will extend the Double Rainbow Event until the end of Monday, April 18th. Other compensations will be discussed and announced next week and applied during the next scheduled maintenance on April 21st.

Thank you for your understanding throughout all of this. We are truly sorry that this has affected your ability to share the world of Erinn together the past two days. We will continue to update the situation and hope to have better news soon.

Event Dates: Thursday, April 14th, After Maintenance - Thursday, May 12th, Before Maintenance
[h2]The Grand Guild Gathering[/h2]

• During the event, you will receive the quest, [Guide] The Grand Guild Gathering.
• Talk to Roy in the Dunbarton Town Square.
• Register a main character with Roy.
• You can only register one character per account.
• You will receive the following items after completing [Guide] The Grand Guild Gathering:
  • 10,000 EXP
  • Guild Activity Journal
    • This item can be stored in the "Me" inventory.
• In order to participate, your character must be in a guild. 
  • If you have just joined a guild, you will be considered a new guild member. You can participate in certain parts of the event after 3 days have passed since you've joined the guild.
• If you are not in a guild, you can still receive Guild Activity Coins, but you will not gain Guild Activity EXP Points.
• If you quit a guild while participating in the event, the Guild Activity EXP Points you've earned will reset. The Guild Activity Coins will still remain, but you will not be able to use Roy's Guild Event Shop, and the special Guild Member Buffs.
• If you quit a guild while participating in the event, and rejoin another guild, you will be considered a new guild member and will need to wait 3 days to participate in certain parts of the event.
• Right-click "Use" on the Guild Activity Journal to open it and check information related to guild activities.
  • Check Guild Activity EXP
    • You can check your Individual Guild Activity EXP points and the Total Guild Member Activity EXP Points that have been obtained for the week.
    • There are several ways to gain Guild Activity EXP points.
    • Guild Activity EXP resets every week on Thursday at 7:00 AM PDT in real time.
    • Please note that it can take up to 5 minutes for the Guild EXP to update in the Guild Activity Journal.
  • Claim your Weekly Guild Reward
    • To achieve the weekly guild reward, you and your guild will need to obtain a certain amount of Guild Activity EXP Points.
      • 5,000 or more Total Guild Member Activity EXP Points
      • 500 or more Individual Guild Activity EXP Points
    • Once both of the above requirements have been meet, the Weekly Guild Reward Box can be claimed.
      • This reward can only be claimed once per week.
      • You can only claim the reward during the week, before the reset.

[h2]Earning Guild Activity EXP and Coins[/h2]

• To earn Guild Activity EXP and Guild Activity Coins, you must participate in various activities.
  • One way to earn EXP and coins is by clearing the Erinn Adventure Journal missions.
    • You will receive an equal amount of Guild Activity EXP and Guild Activity Coins as the EXP awarded when completing an Erinn Adventure Journal mission.
    • IMPORTANT NOTE: We recommend registering for this event and the Erinn Adventure Journal on the same character as the Guild Activity EXP and Coins are obtained through the Erinn Adventure Journal. 
  • Eliminate Mokkurkalfi is a special mission that you can participate in with other guild members to earn EXP and coins.
    • Speak with Roy to Enter Guild Cooperative Mission.
    • You can enter solo or in a party with up to 8 guild members.
    • All party members must be in the same guild.
    • If you are a new guild member, you will not receive Guild Activity EXP until 3 days have passed since you joined the guild.
      • If you complete the mission after 3 days have passed, you can earn the 500 Guild Activity EXP.
    • For the first clear, you will receive the following rewards:
      • 500 Guild Activity EXP
      • 500 Guild Activity Coins
      • Eliminate Mokkukalfi Reward Box
    • You can still enter the mission multiple times, but you can only receive the rewards once per week.
    • The weekly clear will be reset every week on Thursdays at 7 AM PDT in real time.

[h2]Special Guild Buffs[/h2]

• During the event period, you will receive the special Power of Guild Pride buff after registering your main character.
  • New guild members can acquire the buff by talking to Roy after 3 days have passed since joining a guild.
  • Power of Guild Pride Buff
    • Increases Attack Power by 15
    • Increases Magic Attack by 10
• When participating in the Eliminate Mokkurkalfi mission with a new guild member, the Refreshing Aura Buff will be granted to the entire party.
  • 2 or more players must be in the party for the buff to be applied.
  • Refreshing Aura Buff
    • Increases Movement Speed by 30%
    • Reduces Attack Delay by 15%

[h2]Roy's Guild Event Shop[/h2]
Consumable Shop

• Use Guild Activity Coins in Roy's Guild shop to exchange for rewards.
  • Guild Activity Coins can also be sold to an NPC for Exploration EXP 5%.
• The Special Gem Selection Box can only be purchased 3 times per week.
  • The weekly purchase limit resets on Thursdays at 7:00 AM PDT.
• The Style Tab Key (30 days) can only be purchased once during the event.

Rental Shop

• You can only purchase one of each weapon during the event.
  
  • With the exception of the Celtic Royal Knight Sword of which two can be purchased.
• Note: The Rental Weapons will be removed on June 9th, 2022.
• The Rental Celtic weapons are fully upgraded, enchanted, and reforged.
• The Outfit Rental (90 Day) Selection Coupon can only be purchased once during the event.
• You can select one item from the coupon to use for 90 days.
• The rented outfit cannot be upgraded, reforged, enchanted, or traded.
• It will expire after 90 days and be removed from your inventory.

[h2]Guild Rejoin Cooldown Reduction Event[/h2]

• During the event period, you will be able to leave your current guild, and join a new guild after 1 real-time day, instead of 1 real-time week.

[h2]Erinn Adventure Journal[/h2]

• During the Special Server Merge Season (Season 1), you will receive the quest, [Guide] Chronicling an Adventure.
• Talk to Eavan in Dunbarton to register a main character.
• You can only participate with one character, and this CANNOT be changed.
• IMPORTANT NOTE: We recommend registering for this event and the Grand Guild Gathering event on the same character as the Guild Activity EXP and Coins are obtained through the Erinn Adventure Journal. 
• To open the Erinn Adventure Journal, on the main task bar click on Character -> Adventure Journal.
  • You can also set a hotkey shortcut for it in Options -> Game -> Control -> Hotkey Settings
• With the Journal, you will receive various Daily, Weekly, and Challenge missions.
  • Daily missions reset every day at 7 AM PDT.
  • Weekly missions reset every Thursday at 7 AM PDT.
  • Challenge missions can be completed once during the season period.
    • When some Challenge mission are completed, a newly linked mission will be available for the following missions:
      • Fish Fear Me - Catch a fish 100 times (any type) -> 200 times -> 300 times
      • A Time to Reap - Gather 100 times (any type) -> 200 times -> 300 times
      • Pet Projects - Complete a Pet Expedition 15 times -> 30 times -> 45 times
      • Expert Exterminator - Defeat 500 monsters (any type) -> 1,000 monsters -> 1,500 monsters
      • Complete Sidhe Finnachaid of -  Curiosity 1 time -> Fear 1 time -> Sorrow 1 time
• Each time you complete a task, the mission will automatically complete and you will receive Adventure EXP.
• Collect Adventure EXP to raise the Journal Grade.
• There are 21 grades in total and each grade requires 200 EXP to reach the next grade.
  • Reaching Grade 21 requires 4,200 Adventure EXP.
• A total of 5,400 Adventure EXP can be obtained by completing missions during Season 1.
  • Daily Missions = 1,960 EXP (70 EXP daily
  • 28 days)
  • Weekly Missions = 1,640 EXP (410 EXP per week
  • 4 weeks)
  • Challenge Missions = 1,800 EXP (including linked missions)
• Normal Rewards can be claimed any time you reach a new grade.
• Special Rewards can be unlocked using 150 Pon.
• Note: You can only Claim Rewards while the Erinn Adventure Journal season is active. Unclaimed rewards will be sent to the character’s Point Inventory after the season ends.

[h2]Reward Information[/h2]

• Season 1 of the Erinn Adventure Journal contains many exclusive rewards to commemorate the Server Merge. These rewards are better than ever, including special titles, the new Heavy Jacket outfit set, and more!

Normal Rewards

• Normal Rewards can be claimed any time you reach a new grade.
• If you complete all Journal Grades, you’ll receive a special reward (Grade 21 Reward).
• Milletian Title Upgrade Coupons can be used to upgrade your current Milletian Title. You must have the previous Milletian Title in order to use an upgrade coupon.
• Temporary Milletian Titles (All types: Guardian, Blessed, Luminous, Glorious, Legendary, Eternal) will be removed during the June 9th, 2022 maintenance.
  

Special Rewards

• Click on "Activate" to unlock the Special Rewards using 150 Pon.
• Once you've activated the Special Rewards, you can claim them each time you reach a new Grade.
• You can receive rewards for any Grade that has already been achieved as soon as the special rewards have been activated.
• The items you receive from Special Rewards are not tradeable.

Ethel the Billionaire is here to support your growth needs for a 3rd time! Ethel will be providing support to all Milletians by selling passes to dungeons. Along with Ethel, drop rates will be increased and you can also obtain the maximum amount of keys, regardless of how many players are in the dungeon! Check out the details below.

[h2]Event Details[/h2]

• During the event, you will receive the quest, [Guide] Investing in the Future.
• Find Ethel near the Bank in Dunbarton.
• Register a main character with Ethel.
• You can only register one character per account.
• You will receive the following items after completing [Guide] Investing in the Future.
  • 10,000 EXP

[h2]Dungeon Key Drop and Increased Drop Rates[/h2]

• During certain weeks of the event, upon completing certain dungeons, your party will receive the maximum amount of keys available, regardless of how many party members are in the dungeon.
• There will also be increased drop rates of the dungeon end treasure chest.
  • During the Mag Mell week, drop rates for Boss Kills will also be increased. 
• On Week 10 of the event, all three listed dungeons/missions will have dungeon key drops and increased drop rates.

• If the number of keys available cannot be divided equally between party members, leftover keys will be given to party members at random.
  • Example: If 3 players clear Rabbie Phantasm, each party member will get 1 key and one party member will receive an extra key.
• Certain dungeons may have more dungeon end chests than the max available keys given to the party.
  • Example: Depending on the number of party members who cleared Awakened Abyssal Lord Tech Duinn Mission, there may be 6-8 chests. However, the party will still only receive a maximum of 4 keys.

[h2]Elite Mission Pass Support[/h2]

• During the event period, Ethel will sell Ethel's Elite Mission Selection Box.
  • Talk to Ethel and select "Purchase Pass". 
    • The selection box costs 200,000 Gold.
    • The selection box has a 7-day expiration.
    • You can choose either an Elite Pass for Tara or for Taillteann.
      • The selected pass has a 24 hour expiration.
    • You can only purchase 20 selection boxes per week.
      • The purchase limit is reset at midnight every Sunday.

[h2]Dungeon Pass Support[/h2]

• Ethel will also sell the Rabbie Phantasm Dungeon Pass (Event).
  • The dungeon pass is not tradeable.
  • The dungeon pass has a 7-day expiration.
  • The dungeon pass costs 400,000 gold.

[h2]Level Growth Support[/h2]

• If you are between cumulative level 5,000 and 15,000, you can participate in the Level Growth Support event.
• Talk to Ethel and select "Level Growth Support".
• You will receive two quests, the daily quest, [Daily] A Stepping Stone for Growth - Level, and the achievement quest, [Challenge] Billionaire's Level Growth Support.
• For the daily quest, clear the Advanced Uladh Dungeon that is specified in the quest details.
  • This quest can be received once a day.
  • This quest resets at 7:00 AM PDT.
  • Reminder: You can now purchase Advanced Dungeon Passes from the Researcher near Poulnabrone Rock in Dunbarton.
• You will receive the following items after completing [Daily] A Stepping Stone for Growth - Level:
  • 8,000,000 EXP
  • Rebirth Potion x1
    • Does not expire
    • Cannot be traded
• For the achievement quest, your objective is to reach cumulative level 15,000.
• Once you complete the objective, talk to Ethel for the following rewards:
  • 10,000 EXP
  • Ethel's Celebratory Gift Box x1

[h2]Skill Growth Support[/h2]

• If you are under Total Combat Skill level 1,700, you can participate in the Skill Growth Support event.
• Talk to Ethel and select "Skill Growth Support".
• You will receive two quests, the daily quest, [Daily] A Stepping Stone for Growth - Skill, and the achievement quest, [Challenge] Billionaire's Skill Growth Support.
• For the daily quest, clear the daily Shadow Mission in Tara or Taillteann.
  • This quest can be received twice a day.
  • The quest resets at 7:00 AM PDT.
• You will receive the following items after completing [Daily] A Stepping Stone for Growth - Skill:
  • Combat Skill Training Seal (10) Selection Box x10
• For the achievement quest, your objective is to reach Total Combat Skill Level 1,700.
• Once you complete the objective, talk to Ethel for the following rewards:
  • 10,000 EXP
  • Ethel's Celebratory Gift Box x1

[h2]Erinn Spirit Additional Drop Event [/h2]

• When clearing Tara and Taillteann Shadow Missions on Elite difficulty, there is an additional chance to obtain Erinn Spirit.
  • This is in addition to the normal end chest rewards.

[h2]Tech Duinn Mission Pass Box[/h2]
Event Period: Thursday, May 26th, After Maintenance - Thursday, June 23rd, Before Maintenance

• When clearing Tech Duinn Missions during on Normal or Advanced difficulty, there is a chance to obtain an Elite Tech Duinn Mission Pass Box:
  • Feth Fiada (Elite) Pass Box
  • Seven Nightmares (Elite) Pass Box
  • Revived Illusion (Elite) Pass Box
  • Awakened Abyssal Lord (Elite) Pass Box
• The Pass Box expires after 3 days.
• The Pass Box is tradable 1 time.
• When the Pass Box is opened, an Elite Pass for the mission is granted and the pass will expire in 24 hours.
