Event Dates: Thursday, January 29th, After Maintenance ~ Thursday, February 26th, Before Maintenance

• Log in during the event period to receive the quest [Event] Cookie Island Event.
• Meet up with Gingerbread Caravan Joe in Dunbarton Square to select a main character.
  • Completing [Event] Cookie Island Event will award you with the following:
    • 5,000 EXP
    • 5,000 Gold
    • 1x Sweet Gift Box
  • Known Issue: Caravan Joe incorrectly states that non-main characters on an account can participate in the event.
  • Unlike other events, this event will not have a dedicated icon in your Quick View Menu.
• After registering a Main Character, head to Emain Macha to talk to Captain Aodhan and be introduced to Cookie Island!

[h2]Daily Quests[/h2]

• You'll receive the quest [Event] Captain Aodhan's Request after registering to point you in the direction of the event island. Complete the questline to unlock all the available daily quests, allowing you to earn both Sweet Gift Boxes and Sugar Coins!
• After unlocking the dailies, you'll receive 3 of the following quests listed below each day:
  • [Event] Inspect the Tent
    • Tackle the sweet challenges that await inside the Vacant Dessert Tent.
    • Four Rooms of Challenges full of Gingerbread Men, Kuppas, and Gummy Bears.
    • Note: Shadow Crystals do not work within the Dessert Tent.
  • [Event] Make a Snack Basket
    • Look for the Child with Small Hands close to the Moon Gate who is looking for a simple snack basket.
    • Acquire the requested materials and craft it through Handicrafting.
  • [Event] Delivery a Sugar Flower
    • Join Merlin and the Boy Mesmerized by Shiny Things and look for Sugar Flowers to give to a special person.
    • Be sure to grab a Weeding Hoe and dig for Sugar Flowers.
  • [Event] Deliver Cotton Candy
    • A Boy with Bad Teeth is looking to avoid cavities... by requesting more cotton candy!
    • This type of cotton candy can be found by shearing sheep - any sheep throughout Erinn will do!
  • [Event] Make Sparkling Water
    • Reach out to the Girl with a Scratchy Throat on how to aid her ailment so she can return to eating sweets.
    • Gather the necessary items and start cooking!
  • [Event] Deliver Sugar Fish
    • A girl who has a fear of water needs your help!
    • Grab your fishing rod and acquire Sugar Fish and Sugar Conch from the surrounding waters.
    • Special Bait to acquire these fish can be acquired from the Event Shop.
• Additionally, you'll receive the following daily quest every day:
  • [Event] Defeat the Giant Gingerbread Man
    • Each Erinn Day from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, you'll find the the western outskirts of Emain Macha terrorized by a Giant Gingerbread Man.
    • Defeat the oversized cookie to earn yourself a reward of EXP, a Savory Gift Box, and a Sugar Coin.

Log in during the weekends to receive 5 Sugar Coins! The reward can only be claimed once per account and can only be received by the representative character.

[h2]Echostone System and Sidhe Finnachaid Dungeon Improvements[/h2]
Ancient Music Box Area Added

• Upon meeting the conditions below, you can speak to NPC Enn at Lake Neagh and press the “Use the Ancient Music Box” button to be teleported directly to the Ancient Music Box in Sidhe Finnachaid.
  
  • Cumulative Level 20,000 or higher
  • Obtained at least one journal entry for Sidhe Finnachaid (Curiosity/Fear/Sorrow) on Advanced difficulty
• In the Ancient Music Box area, you can click the “Return to Enn” button at the bottom of the Echostone Advancement/Awaken/Fragment UI to exit the area and return to Enn.

Echostone Advancement

The existing upgrade function has been changed:

• You can now upgrade Echostones by consuming a certain amount of gold without needing to clear Sidhe Finnachaid dungeon.
  
  • The upgrade success rate bonus from dungeon difficulty does not apply.
• Failing an Advancement upgrade at Grade 26+ will no longer decrease the grade of the Echostone.
• Now, failing an upgrade at Grade 26+ will only consume gold or free upgrade attempts.
  
  • When a Grade 30 upgrade succeeds, a message will be added at the bottom of the upgrade window stating that you can obtain an Echostone Attunement Stone upon dismantling.
• The upgrade animation time has been reduced.
A Consecutive Advancement function has been added.

• A function has been added to complete upgrades up to a desired grade at once when upgrading with gold.
• Separate options are provided to save the requested upgrade stage and to continue attempting upgrades to the final desired stage even upon failure.
• You can now check an option to use gold directly from your bank for Echostone upgrades and continuous upgrades.
  
  • A Bank Processing Fee is added to the total gold cost when using this option.

Echostone Awakening

• All grades of Echostone Awakening Stimulants can now be used regardless of the dungeon difficulty.
  • The Awakening attempt limit based on cumulative level has been removed.
  • The maximum AP cost for Echostone Awakening is 25 AP.
    
  • When a high Awakening ability level is granted, the level will be highlighted in yellow text without a separate animation.
  • The Level Reroll function for Echostone Awakening has been added.
    
    • When a new Echostone Awakening ability is granted, you can consume an Echostone Attunement Stone to reroll the level of that Awakening ability once.
      
      • An Awakening ability level that has been re-rolled once cannot be rerolled again.
    • The level reroll function cannot be used when the Awakening ability level is at its maximum.
    • Only Echostone Attunement Stone is consumed as a material for re-rolling the level.
  • The level is granted with the same probability as when using an Echostone Attunement Stone.
    
    • If the re-rolled level is lower than the current Awakening ability level, the current level is maintained.

  

Echostone Dismantling

• Echostone Attunement Stones have been added as a material item for rerolling Awakening ability levels.
• Can be obtained at a certain probability when dismantling a Grade 30 Echostone.
  
  • Should the dismantlement fail to produce an Echostone Attunement Stone, the next attempt will be boosted.
  • You can obtain up to 3 per account per day (real-time). The acquisition count resets daily at 7:00 AM server time.
• The items that can be obtained from dismantling will now be shown as item images.

Red/Blue/Yellow/White/Black Echostone Items

• The Awakening ability level on Echostone items will now be displayed in detail as (Current Level / Max Level).

Echostone Slots

• Echostone Slots have been added to the Extra Equipment Slots.
• If the usage period for either the Extra Equipment Slots or the inventory's Echostone Slots expires, the Echostone Slots within the Extra Equipment Slots will also be restricted.
  
  • Similar to the Echostone Slots in the inventory, you can equip up to 3 slots.
  You can choose whether to swap each Echostone Slot in the Extra Equipment Slots individually by clicking the checkbox next to each Echostone slot.
  

  • If all slots are deactivated, it will show as 'Excluded'.
  • If one or more slots are activated, it will show as 'Swap Ready'.

  When swapping to an Echostone in the Extra Equipment Slots, the swap will proceed to the slots in the inventory in the following order:
  

  • Swaps with Echostone of the same color first.
  • Remaining Echostones are placed in empty slots starting from the top of the inventory.

  If multiple Echostones of the same color are registered in the same Extra Equipment Slot, the Echostones cannot be swapped.

  

Other Changes

• The current entry restriction for Sidhe Finnechaid requiring level 60 or higher has been removed, allowing entry at any time regardless of current level.
• The quest “Clear Sidhe Finnachaid (Any Difficulty)” has been added to the Growth Guide.

• The Alban Knights Emblem and Commander's Emblem have had their descriptions updated to indicate that they cannot be activated together, as they are both Emblem-style Totems.

• Anonymous members of the Mabinogi Redheads Association have stepped forth to let us know that the previously named "Gingerman" baked goods should probably be named closer to their baked good namesake. • Event Points have been corrected for Refined Armory. If you had not claimed your items from the event UI, the items have been sent to your Point Inventory based on the amount of points you earned post-correction. 
  
  • If you believe there to be an error, we would ask that you submit a Player Support ticket for assistance. 
• Re-corrected the translation on the Jobs button in the Traveler’s Guide.
• Smaller text fixes for the Arsenal Gunner and the Forbidden Alchemist Arcana Quests and related character dialogue.
• These 2025 Beauty Box items and options have been renamed for consistency: 
  
  • The following non-tradable coupons have been renamed:

• The "Ice Flower" and "Snowman" Stardust items can now be used without issue.

• 
• With the expansion to the Dressing Room added in October, a few items have yet to have slots added.
• We are currently collecting these items and they will be added at a later date.
• There are currently issues causing the Blacklist to not work as expected for some players.
• Under periodic conditions, Milletians will be temporarily unable to duel other Milletians.
