Update notes for release 60.17

  • Fixed a bug where a charmed drow priestess summoned spiders that were hostile against the player and companions. (thanks to Bentwing for reporting)
  • Fixed a bug where furniture tiles were drawn too dark when "Brighter darkvision" setting was on.
  • Fixed an ASCII-mode bug where the floor dot wasn't drawn when there was an unseen creature / item on the tile. (Bentwing)
  • Better handling of "Brighter darkvision" setting when playing in ASCII-mode. (Bentwing)
  • When a companion is ordered to STAY at a location, the companion now tries to travel to the target location at higher priority, and when at the location, does not move unless need to flee. Also fixed some other companion commanding related bugs.
  • New option on the 2nd page of companions' character sheets: "Cloud effects". Enabled by default. Disable if you don't want a companion to create cloud effects (Acid Cloud, Poison Cloud, Web, etc.) by spell or device. Does not prevent from using slime coated weapons or ammunition that create a 1x1-sized cloud effect on the target tile. (thanks to Bentwing for the idea)
  • Living rogue saint statues are now named ("Sir Wichman", "Sir Koeneke", and such). (thanks to Bentwing for the idea) (While at it, I was quite tempted to add a statue for Sir Bentwing as well)
  • Added a note to the Die Hard talent that it won't activate if withered or when there's a map-wide necrotic field active. Note that life saving equipment ignore withering.
  • Yet another typo fixed. (thanks to Ryan M for reporting)
