Through the Challenges — A Message to Our Community
[p]Hello everyone,[/p][p]As 2025 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to speak openly about Ertugrul of Ulukayin and the journey we’ve been on together. Our Early Access launch didn’t reach as many players as we had hoped, and, along the way, we had to say goodbye to some incredible teammates. Losing them was difficult, and suddenly the workload became much heavier for the small team that remained.[/p][p]As a small team, we used our full force to continue to develop the game, so unfortunately we haven’t always been able to update you on social media as often as we wanted because of this. We're sorry for that.
Please know that every improvement, every fix, and every new feature has been built with care, dedication, and the desire to deliver the game we all believe in.[/p][p]Despite the challenges, our commitment has only grown stronger. Our goal is clear: to finish the game and create the experience that Ertugrul of Ulukayin was always meant to be. We are determined to see it through, and we’re deeply grateful to everyone who has stayed with us along the way. - [p]Mission Update – Calm Before the Storm: Search the Depths of the Forest The environment layout and progression path have been refined for better exploration and atmosphere.[/p]
- [p]Ruins and new environmental details added to the hunting area.[/p]
- [p]Visual Enhancement – Landscape Overall landscape fidelity has been improved, with denser environmental detail and a more natural, immersive look.[/p]
- [p]Bringing the tribe to life with immersive details, adding environmental elements, physical interaction, and dynamic NPC interactions to reflect the vibrant atmosphere of the land and deepen the sense of tribal life.[/p]
- [p]Equipment System implemented.[/p]
- [p]New Gear Interface: Easier to view and manage your equipment. [/p]
- [p]Loot, XP, and Level Systems Updated: Progression is now smoother and more rewarding.[/p]
- [p]Redesigned Codex Menu: Access tutorials, characters, and game info more easily.[/p]
- [p]Improved Wolf Vision and interaction indicators. [/p]
- [p]Added Inventory Item Drop System. [/p]
- [p]Updated Crafting Menu + new craftable items.[/p]
- [p]Tribe Building Upgrades, Tribe buildings are now upgradeable. Upgrades grant various stat improvements (e.g., increased weight capacity)[/p]
- [p]Heavy attacks and interruptable attack windows are now visually represented with on-screen widgets.[/p]
- [p]Skill widget UX improved: when using a gamepad, the widget now dynamically scales when required buttons are pressed.[/p]
- [p]Fixed a bug where resource widgets remained visible after being collected during the snake battle sequence.[/p]
- [p]Horse animations improved to be smoother and more realistic movements.[/p]
- [p]Visual enhancements for horses, Improved details like coats, reins, and overall appearance.[/p]
- [p]Better controls and riding experience. Riding feels more responsive and enjoyable.[/p]
- [p]Formation system added for companion AI horses.[/p]
- [p]Resolved an issue preventing horses from reaching full speed while speed-limited. Horses can now reach their full speed without restrictions.[/p]
- [p]Ladder system implemented, with a complete Hand IK support.[/p]
- [p]Continued work on world events with more variations. [/p]
- [p]Improved Map Visibility: World events are now easier to spot and track on the map. [/p]
- [p]Enhanced Exploration: Discover new side quests, hidden areas, and dynamic encounters.[/p]
- [p]Ahlat Region Progress: Expanded city exploration and new areas to explore.[/p]
- [p]Mongol Encounters Added: Key regions now feature challenging Mongol enemies for a more immersive experience.[/p]

- [p]Smarter Enemies: opponents are now more reactive, aggressive, and challenging.[/p]
- [p]Improved Mongol Dog Visuals: Updated textures and animations for a more polished look. [/p]
- [p]Better Companion AI: Companions now call for reinforcements when they’re injured, making battles feel more dynamic.[/p]
- [p]Crash Fix: Resolved an issue where mankurt explosions could cause the game to crash.[/p]
- [p]More Responsive Hit Reactions: Combat feedback feels sharper and more impactful.[/p]
- [p]Improved Combat Camera: Smoother tracking and better visibility during fights.[/p]
- [p]Enhanced Damage Types: Fire, poison, and bleeding effects now feel more distinct and powerful.[/p]
- [p]UI Improvements: Heavy attacks and skill widgets are now clearer and easier to read in combat.[/p]
- [p]Fixed a crash that occurred when returning to the main menu during battle.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue where the camera would break when the player attempted to reach an interaction point prematurely.
