Once Human Version 2.3.6 Update Additional Announcement
Dear Metas,
[p]We have received a large amount of feedback from Metas regarding the Version 2.3.6 update. To improve the overall game experience, we would like to share the following adjustments and additional notes.[/p]
Regarding Territories That Were Moved into Blocked Areas
[p]After this update, some Metas found that their territories had been placed inside blocked areas, preventing them from returning normally. After investigation, we found that this was caused by boundary adjustments made to certain edge areas as part of development work for upcoming map content. As a result, some previously normal areas were mistakenly turned into blocked areas. Once we became aware of the issue, we released an emergency notice advising affected Metas to relocate, as we expected that moving would resolve the problem. However, after the notice went out, we continued to receive a large amount of feedback and found that in many cases, relocation alone was not enough to fix it. To ensure the normal gameplay experience of all Metas, we have decided to make the following change:[/p][p]We will revert the blocked area boundary changes introduced in this update. The wilderness map boundaries will be restored to their pre-update state. Any territory that was incorrectly moved into a blocked area because of these boundary changes will be automatically restored to a normal area.[/p][p]*Please note: Due to technical limitations in the underlying system, terrain changes cannot be reverted. In a small number of cases, a territory may overlap with terrain after the rollback, which may cause part of the territory to be covered or become unbuildable. If this happens, the issue can be fixed by relocating your territory. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.[/p][p]We also want to sincerely apologize for how this map boundary adjustment was handled. We did not provide advance notice or warning, and we did not fully account for the range of boundary conditions in actual gameplay. We understand this caused trouble for many Metas, and we are truly sorry! We will carefully review the gaps in this process and make sure future updates involving wilderness map changes are handled with greater care and with clearer communication in advance.[/p][p]As an apology, we will also provide compensation. Please watch for a follow-up in-game mail. Thank you for your patience and understanding![/p]
Tech System Rule Updates
[p]1. Wilderness and dungeon drop adjustments[/p][p]1) Dungeon drop rate balance adjustments: We have slightly reduced the weapon drop rate in Monolith and Securement Silos, and added armor drops to Securement Silos.[/p][p]2) The chance of obtaining armor from armor crates has been increased.[/p][p]3) Storage Crates now have a chance to contain weapons or armor.[/p][p]Weapons and armor obtained through the above sources will now come with an initial star rating. We have also made slight adjustments to the rarity and crafting tier of dropped gear. After these changes, dropped gear will have noticeably better stats than before, making each exploration more rewarding.[/p][p]2. A new beverage, Whimsy Drink, has been added to increase weapon damage.[/p][p]Since launch, we've been closely monitoring feedback and suggestions from every Meta in the community and working on fixes and optimizations. If you have more questions or suggestions, feel free to reach out to us through the Once Human Co-Dev Feedback Platform![/p][p]Once Human Development Team[/p]
