Territory Anomaly Issue Fixed Announcement

Dear Metas,

We have completed the fix for players with territory data anomalies and have issued compensation. All demolished facilities and building materials have been returned to the vault.

If your territory still experiences any abnormalities, please contact us through the feedback channel on the official Discord. We will assist you in checking and resolving the issue.

Due to the complexity of the territory data, it took us some time to resolve the issues, and we want to express our gratitude to all Metas and apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Thank you for your continuous support and understanding.

New Elden Ring boss just dropped in the real world

A new Elden Ring boss may have just dropped in the real world, after people much smarter than me have discovered that Komodo dragons — the largest (living) lizard out there, that we know of — have iron-coated teeth. This is metal as f**k, if you ask me.

Komodo dragons are renowned Apex predators, and often sit high at the top of the food chain wherever you find them. It’s easy enough to believe given that these hostile albeit beautiful creatures can weigh over 300 pounds, have been known to attack humans (rarely), and will sometimes even eat each other.

The discovery that these fellas have iron-coated teeth is the cherry on top for why Komodo dragons can be so formidable, with the orange iron that covers the serrated edges and tips of their teeth making them exceptionally sharp. We know that these beasts will tear flesh from their prey, and their newly-discovered iron coatings go a long way in explaining how the creature is able to maintain its pearly whites throughout its lifespan.

Dev Talk — The Prime War & Purification Gameplay

Recently, we've received valuable feedback about the Prime War from our player community and KOLs. To address these issues, we consulted our game designer to provide their insights.

Q1: What was the original purpose of the Prime War?
A1: We wanted to create a unique open-world experience, featuring massive multiplayer co-op battles against colossal bosses. So we designed the Prime War, incorporating building and defense elements that highlight the nature of survival games.

Q2: How to quickly break through a boss's shield? Please share strategies and damage types that effectively break shield? These mechanics aren't obvious to most. And it could be particularly challenging for those attempting to solo a boss.
A2: Memetic-unlocked Gatling Cannons and Plasma Missiles, heavy weapons like the MGL, Rocket Launcher, and tactical items such as Grenades and Explosives, can effectively damage a boss's shield. Different methods vary in damage efficiency. The Gatling Cannon and Plasma Missile combo is the most efficient way. We will optimize the gameplay interface to provide clearer guidance and rule descriptions. We are also considering adding in-game options to help underprepared players participate in shield breaking.

Q3: Will a warband version (private raid) be available in the Prime War? For example, can 8 players start a campaign without involving the entire server?
A3: We are considering adding gameplay options where the initiator controls participation permissions and we welcome more ideas from players.

Q4: Are there any AI features available to help complete the Prime War? What if my server is slow but I still want to try the Prime War?
A4: Currently, there are no definite plans to launch an AI bot. For low-turnout scenarios, we're exploring a dynamic difficulty system that adjusts based on participant numbers.

Q5: Will there be a PvP mode around this type of activity in the future?
A5: While there are no current plans, we will evaluate the potential for a PvP mode. We remain committed to introducing more engaging gameplay features.

Q6: How many times per week can I participate in the Prime War and earn rewards?
A6: The Prime War currently offers two types of rewards:
①First Clear Rewards, which can only be claimed once per season; and
②Clearance Rating Rewards, which can be won repeatedly with no cap.

Q7: How did you decide on/design the "Rating" system for the final loot box?
A7: The current "Rating" mechanism is designed to encourage active participation in the Prime War, rather than AFK behavior. We aim to ensure players of various skill levels and playstyles can obtain appropriate rewards, instead of having core rewards determined solely by combat-focused players. We have noticed that some players seek more challenging gameplay, and we are considering refining boss behavior and combat/evaluation rules to meet this demand.

Q8: Are there any rewards for completing the Prime War as a warband?
A8: Individuals and groups have equal access to rewards.

Q9: How to reduce latency during the Prime War?
A9: We are continuously optimizing performance and latency issues in the Prime War (and the game in general).

Q10: The last question is about the Purification gameplay: Many Metas have recently reported not receiving Starchrom from Purification. Why is that?
A10: There are two possible causes for this problem:
①Currently, there is a weekly Purification limit for Starchrom. You can check the weekly Purification amount through the Stardust Resonant Filter. If you exceed this limit, you will not be able to obtain any more Starchrom. *Purifying with teammates will also consume the limit.
②There were some issues with borders. As players' territories span various locations, some Starchrom dropped in places where players couldn't reach. To address this issue, we have added a guaranteed measure to ensure everyone can collect the reward.
③If any player has encountered the above issues or other problems resulting in not receiving the Starchrom reward, please provide feedback via Discord or in-game customer service, and we will arrange for a reissue after verification.
Method 1: Go to Customer Service in the Feedback section on our Discord server and follow the instructions.
Method 2: Join our official Discord server, click on [Show Member List] in the top right corner, then click [Once Human Game Support] to send us a direct message.

Thank you for your attention and discussion on this topic. It has made us aware that our game design can be further improved. We hope you will continue to provide feedback. We take every suggestion seriously and strive to improve your gaming experience.
