Meet Infinite Challenges: Roguelike Mode Major Update IS OUT NOW!

Hello, gamers!

In this update, we've introduced a new Roguelike challenge mode to the game. This mode offers a pure card-battle experience, perfect for players who simply want to enjoy the thrill of card battles. The roguelike mode will be regularly updated and is available for all players who own the base game.


Let's check out what's new in this update:

New Mode

Introducing a challenge mode that strips away the storyline, catering to players seeking a straightforward card battle experience. Once players complete the B-level dungeon tutorial, they can opt to continue with the story mode or dive into the challenge mode. (You can back to the entrance of B-area to enter this mode if you have compeleted the tutorial.) By activating the challenge mode, players can easily jump into dungeon battles using the UI button in the top right corner.

Players can seamlessly switch between the story and challenge modes, unlocking all basic cards, treasures, heroes, and more through either mode. The challenge mode features 10 difficulty levels, each introducing unique mechanics. Advancing through one difficulty level unlocks the next. Additionally, progressing in the story mode automatically unlocks the corresponding challenge mode difficulty to keep the gameplay balanced.

Feature Enhancements

Players will now receive a special visual cue when the Flying Wings curse reaches its 4th count.
Memory fragment icons will now be visible on the maps of all story dungeons.

Linked cards and treasures will no longer randomly drop in the shop after completing an SSS dungeon but will instead be found in seal chests within any challenge dungeon after conquering an SSS dungeon.
Improvements have been made to display card tips correctly when selecting cards via Discover skills and the graveyard during battles.



  • Enhanced the event transitions when switching card forms within dungeons.
  • Tweaked the monster skill - Bash, increasing the action cost from 1 to 2.
  • Implemented specific logic adjustments for Type-1's skill.
  • Standardized the wording used in some skill descriptions.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed the issue where the level of dual-form cards obtained after leveling up a card first was incorrect.
  • Fixed the issue causing abnormal effects when using different hero cards in succession.
  • Fixed the enlargement of cards obtained through Discover skills in the player's hand.
  • Fixed the issue where certain skills would lose their counters when transitioning between turns.
  • Fixed the issue that triggered conditions and text descriptions for Wild Breath for accuracy.
  • Fixed the issue where the display discrepancy in Amplifier Element's skills, adjusting the text to reflect the actual effect.
  • Fixed the issue where the aura of Amplifier Element failed to impact hero skill cards.

【Patch Notes 1.3.8】Issue Resolution and Optimization

Here is the content of this update:

1. Fixed the issue where the description for unlocking the second form of some cards was wrong.
2. Fixed the issue where the rules of the 1/H dungeon world could be chosen infinitely.
3. Fixed the issue where the exploration level of 1/H dungeon did not progress.
4. Fixed the issue where random events such as wizards would have incorrect descriptions that looked like spell cards but it was actually minion cards.
5. Fixed the issue where the buff target was abnormal when using the 12345 number key on the keyboard.
6. Fixed the issue where the card text on some screens would not fit within the frame.
7. Fixed the issue where the trigger sequence of Bone Face – True’s attack and buffing were reversed. And its damage was increased from 1 to 2.
8. Added the description of unlocking World in a Box II to the event description outside World in a Box I.
9. Added the word "DLC" to the unlock description for ordinary cards from DLC.
10. Important tiles in the H dungeon animation have been changed to a more easily recognizable color.
11. The description of “Crystallize” has been optimized.
12. All skill descriptions similar to "can trigger X times per round" have been optimized
13. When all cards acquire temporary shield skills, additional shield text will be added to their descriptions.

Here is the content of this update:

  1. Fixed the issue where the game may freeze or black screen when playing the 1/H stage.
  2. Fixed the issue of abnormal interaction between Will of Plunder and the second-form of minions
  3. Fixed the issue where the buff obtained after fusing two cards would exceed the upper limit of stacks.
  4. Fixed the issue where the game would get stuck when some temporary buffs expire after two cards are fused.
  5. Fixed the issue where there was no clear record after clearing the 1/H stage.
  6. Mind Fusion has been removed from the manifest spell pool.
  7. Fixed the issue where level 3 Monolithic Idol were given to player level 2 cards.
  8. Add an intersection in Area 10 and Area J of H stage that can return to the place of birth.
  9. The targets of Mimetic Essence and

Rise of Human! “Looper Tactics” DLC “Tower and Sea” is now released!

“Looper Tactics” DLC “Tower and Sea” is now released! DLC includes a new Subtype-Human hero Fool, its related dungeons and new cards and other features. At the same time, brand new keywords such as Fuse, Sacrifice, etc. will be included in this DLC, providing richer card construction and gameplay experience.
(DLC content can only be experienced after completing the S-level dungeon of the game itself and opening the S-level sealed gate.)

New Keywords

  • Fuse: One minion is temporarily integrated into another, giving the latter all the skills of the former (except Ranged and Dodge).
  • Sacrifice: Choose a minion and feed it with minion cards in your hand to trigger the Sacrifice skill. After a certain number of times, it will be temporarily promoted to a higher grade.
  • Unite: Trigger this skill whenever a friendly card is summoned, or a minion card is sacrificed.
  • Conjure: Choose one of several cards and immediately use it.
  • Immortal: A minion will not die.


In addition to DLC content, we added a new dragon hero Queen and some new keywords, but also optimized a series of functions and bugs:

  • Added a new dragon Hero Queen.
  • Added a new skin for Hero Forest.
  • New Keyword Sweep: Whenever it attacks, it deals damage equal to its ATK to adjacent minions on both sides of the minion in front of it as well.
  • New Keyword Instinct: Whenever it triggers a passive skill (except this one), +1/+1 and permanently [5]+1/+1. Stackable.

  • Added a new function--“Ban-Gallery”. Players can choose cards or treasures to ban in the gallery, and it will no longer drop in stages.
  • Added a new function-- "Disable Treasures". Treasures will be disabled in the stage after selecting this function.
  • Added a buff column of hero during combat. When pointing to the Hero avatar, the permanent buff of the hero will be displayed.
  • Added display of the number of remaining cards during combat.
  • The prompt of guidance in the menu will no longer disappear when selecting a card to gift some specific skills in the stage event.
  • Added a menu-switching button in the gallery, which allows players to switch to other cards or treasures that can be upgraded.
  • Optimized the trigger rules of the skill's special effect, which the special effect will only play once when some skills get triggered continuously, for example, the combination of Common Treant and Moonlight Idol.
  • Optimized the rule of shield. Adding a new shield to a minion that already had one will cause the last shield to break and then add a new shield (Some skills will get triggered when shield broken).
  • Fixed a lagging issue caused by buying cards in-store when there are too many cards in your hand.
  • Optimized the counting rule of skill.
  • Added different difficulty to World in a Box II.
  • Now some skills that would drop hero skill cards will also drop hero skills cards from the random event.


[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]

  • Fixed an issue where the special effect of shield may overlap sometimes.
  • Fixed an issue where Curse - Flying Wings would count across turns.
  • Fixed an abnormal target selection issue of Smoke Dagger.
  • Fixed an issue where battle would get stuck sometimes.


Along with the release of the DLC "Tower and Sea", the Steam trading card of "Looper Tactics" will also be published. You can collect cards while playing the game, and combine them into badges that can be displayed on your profile. Emojis and profile backgrounds will also be dropped, so we hope you enjoy them.
