I'm pleased to present a small update 1.00.01

In it:

■ Optimized textures.
■ Improved performance.
■ Slight adjustments made to some monsters.
Improved reloading for M16, AK74, AK12, CQ16; now there are no issues when pulling out the magazine to check how many rounds are left and reinserting it back.
■ First aid kits added to some levels.
■ The pistol holster has been slightly shifted forward to make it easier to access the PDA. Now it's even simpler!
■ The backpack trigger has been slightly adjusted, making it easier for you to reload your weapon and preventing you from accidentally yanking the backpack off your shoulder.
■ Minor physics fixes.
■ And after optimization, the game takes up less space; don't worry, there's still more to come... We care not only about you but also your SSD space! ;)

Work on creating new locations for the game is in full swing. My goal is to embody the atmosphere of a post-apocalyptic world in such a way that the player can truly feel it.

■ We have improved the weapon handling mechanics in the game, making it more convenient and intuitive.
■ The artificial intelligence of some monsters has also been optimized. Previously, if a monster began to attack, it was impossible to dodge its strike, resulting in the player losing a life. Now, the player can avoid attacks by retreating.

Some of these changes can already be seen in the attached video, including a demonstration of the new location.

Good day! We are pleased to share with you the latest news on the development of Z.O.N.A Project X VR as of April 26, 2023.



* Work has begun on the second chapter. The first location is already complete.
* Two new weapons have been added to the early access build: the AK-12 and the M16.
* Optimization has been carried out on many levels.



As for the release date of the game in early access on the Steam platform, unfortunately, at the moment, this information is not up to us. The game is under review by the censors since March 18, 2023. We have not been informed about the reasons for such a lengthy review, but we have already made some guesses... In this situation, all we can do is wait for the final decision.

We are excited to introduce one of the unique locations in Z.O.N.A Project X VR – the swamp. The initial design of this area left much to be desired: it lacked mystery, a frightening atmosphere, and any resemblance to a real swamp. However, after careful refinement, I am now satisfied with the result. In the accompanying video, you can also learn about two extremely dangerous monsters that inhabit the swamp. These cunning and fast creatures have the ability to enter a state where weapons cause them no harm.
