[0.5.623] Leviathan Content Update

[p]Hello friends!

The past weeks haven’t been the easiest for us, as real life has been throwing a few challenges our way. Still, we keep pushing forward and continue building Dino Trauma with full commitment, and today we’re excited to share the results of that work.

Dino Trauma has been created from our own efforts and passion, funded through work we’ve done in other studios. Right now, our resources are limited, so every bit of support counts whether it’s playing the game, sharing it with friends, or leaving a review. Your support helps us keep the project alive and continue delivering new content.

A major content update for Dino Trauma is here. Episode 2 begins, introducing new maps, enemies, and mechanics that expand the world and offer fresh ways to experience the game. If you want a full list of changes, the changelog is below. Here’s a concise overview of what to expect. [/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Episode 2 Begins
[p]Episode 2 starts with three story maps featuring new enemies, mechanics, and tense encounters. These maps are more open than previous levels, giving players greater freedom. Many interactive elements in the environment now influence movement, opening some paths while blocking others, adding a strategic layer to exploration.
[/p][p]To keep the momentum going, we’re releasing these maps now rather than waiting for a future update. The fourth map will follow shortly in a mini-update, which will also bring subtle tweaks and stability improvements ahead of the larger Chasm Update. The rest of Episode 2 is actively in development.
[/p]
New Dinosaur Species
[p]Episode 2 introduces six entirely new dinosaur species, along with visual and animation upgrades for three existing ones. Improved AI, enhanced hit reactions, and dynamic damage effects make every encounter feel more impactful. [/p][p][/p]
New Weapon
[p]The Flame Launcher is useful for clearing dense foliage or confronting stronger enemies. It is a versatile tool for both exploration and combat, providing a powerful way to tackle new threats. [/p][p][/p]
The World Reacts More Than Ever
[p]Environmental elements are more dynamic. Bushes bend under movement, water ripples, and dinosaurs visibly react to damage. Lighting, materials, fog, and shaders have been upgraded, creating a more immersive experience.

Also Archaeamphora can now snare from a distance, stun the player, and distort the UI with visual effects. Enemy is no longer just watching and slowly moving... it reacts. [/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Fixes and Optimisations
[p]This update includes numerous fixes, performance improvements, and UI updates, making the game smoother, more stable, and more enjoyable overall.

Sharpen your aim, equip the Flame Launcher, and explore the new threats of Episode 2. The adventure has begun, and it only gets wilder from here!

Dino Trauma DevBlog #7: Roadmap Update

[p]Hello friends!

2025 is shaping up to be a huge year for Dino Trauma. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes, cooking up new content, improving core systems, and making sure every update hits harder than the last. With ambitious goals ahead, exciting changes are on the horizon…
[/p][p]So, let’s take a look at the updated roadmap:
[/p][p][/p][p]Originally, we planned to launch Episode 2 in early 2025, right after Expedition Mode. However, after our first internal playtests, we weren’t satisfied with the quality. The overall flow and level design needed a major overhaul. Additionally, Episode 2 turned out to be so large that we decided to split it into two parts! Part 1 will arrive sooner, while Part 2 will get the extra time it deserves to be truly outstanding. [/p][p][/p][p]We also want to take a moment to remind you that this project is created by just two people working after hours (a married couple). So please, recommend us to your friends, leave reviews, give us a feedback and support the game by purchasing it (now 33% off). Every single copy matters and helps us move forward faster toward version 1.0.[/p][p][/p][p]Here’s a few screenshots: [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]
From our hearts to yours, [/p][p]thank you for being part of this journey! [/p][p][/p][p]Łukasz & Anastasiia
