In our latest update, we’ve added a new arena called the Tainted Sanctum and a brand new boss

[h3]New Arena: The Tainted Sanctum[/h3]

The Sanctum, once a sacred refuge, now festers under the shadow of the Beast's curse. Twisted by darkness, it no longer offers safety but whispers with the remnants of its former grace. At its corrupted heart stands a once-mystical Yew tree, now a gnarled gateway twisted between life and death.



[h3]New Boss: The Beast’s True Form[/h3]

When He broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, "Come". I looked, and behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard something like a voice in the centre of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; but do not damage the oil and the wine".




Alongside the new arean and boss, we’ve made the following quality of life changes in this update:

• The Guardian’s echo quest in endless mode will now spawn bosses that have previously been encountered and killed by the player.
  
• A new spawning system has been added to endless mode. Each time the player progresses in the quest, there is a chance that the enemy composition changes, and the difficulty of the wave will spike a bit.
  
• The spectre enemy has been reintroduced in the endless arenas.
  

And the following bug fixes:

• Fixed multiple collision issues that were present in different arenas.
  
• Fixed the issue where the guardians spawned in the endless mode before the player defeated them.
  
• Fixed UI updation issues across all menus.

[h3]It’s easy to lose and hard to keep alive…

In our latest update, we’ve added a new endless arena called Hope, alongside lots of bug fixes and quality of life changes!

Read on to find out everything that’s included in update 3.5.[/h3]



[h3]The coast, where hope was lost and a new hope may be regained. The coast is where it all began and, if you’ve got the strength, it might be where it will all end. The Beast is powerful, but life is even more so. Even the beast’s curse will wither someday, and life will take back its domain.[/h3]



Alongside the new endless arena Hope, we’ve made the following quality of life changes to Hordes of Hunger:

• Now, a variety of enemies spawn at the start of the arena itself, making each arena more interesting and difficult to traverse.
  
• We’ve removed persistent ragdolls to reduce visual clutter.
  

And the following bug fixes:

• Fixed multiple grammatical errors.
  
• Fixed the vendor girl floating issue on all arenas.
  
• Fixed the crash issue in the arena Denial, where the tiles fail to load and the player falls out of the playable area.
  
• Fixed multiple collision issues that were present in different arenas.

Our third major content update, Revelation, comes with new arenas, story quests, and enemies for you to test your mettle against as you uncover more about the true nature of the Beast and the devastation it has wrought on Mirah's homeland.

[h3]The Caves[/h3]
Once, the dungeons of an old monastery holding the graves of heroes long forgotten are now the Headquarters of the Cult. The influence of the Beast is very clear here, and the cultists clearly nurture it instead of fighting against it..

The Caves come with the following story quests:

• Stop the Procession
  
• Help the Hero
  
• Help the Hero Again
  

[h3]The Beach[/h3]
The place where everything began. It is from here that the Beast emerged and began its vile campaign into the depths of the land. The place is completely dominated by its influence. The entire surroundings represent a caricature of what it used to be, dominated by monumental manifestations of the Beast's influence..

The Beach comes with the following story quests:

• Prevent the summoning
  
• Rescue the Prisoner
  

New bosses can also be encountered in these newly added arenas, but we don't want to spoil much more beyond that! One of these bosses has also been added to the endless arenas and a new variant of the Golem enemy has also been added to the game.


Alongside these new additions, we've also included the following bug fixes in this update:

• Fixed the boss spawning issues in endless arenas.
  
• Fixed a softlock issue where the player presses the [Space] button in the ‘Credits’ menu.
  
• Fixed enemy spawning issues in the endless arenas.
  
• Fixed the issue where the dialogues failed to pause in the pause menu.
  
• Fixed multiple grammatical & punctuation errors in dialogue and quest descriptions.
  
• Fixed a UI issue where the ‘Return to Sanctum’ disappears after pressing the [Space] button.
